A nice little spot behind the Boston Public Library. They prepare GF food on a separate counter. The crab roll was fantastic and the staff was great!

GF bun for the lobster roll was amazing, one of the best GF breads I’ve had. They asked if GF was an allergy or a preference.

No Gluten Free buns. Clam chowder is ok. I would skip this place.

Had a fine experience here with my celiac partner. The price is insane, and the food is not bad. Unfortunately, we could only get cold lobster rolls because the hot lobster rolls get cross contamination. I paid 90 bucks for two small lobster rolls and a small soup. At least I got two bags of chips for free. Crazy. We were both hungry afterwards. There is a separate station for GF.

I had the lobster roll flight. The different flavors were just what I was craving. I also enjoy their chowders and bisques. I would love larger servings but my meal was filling. They changed gloves and made sure everything was safe before making my petite sandwiches. The included chip choices were also gluten free.

Changed gloves when preparing my food. Advised warm lobster had risk of cross contamination which was appreciated. I felt the service was good and answered questions happily. Hate when a place charges extra for GF roll, $2 and didn't mention there was an upcharge. Slaw I liked, hubby didn't. Definitely pricey: $69 for 2 rolls, 1 lobster & 1 crab, plus 2 sides and 2 drinks. We both went with the extra meat and wished we hadn't because we were so full!

Most everything on menu is gluten free. The GF buns they used are some of the better I have had. I had the trio sampler and clam chowder. It is a little pricey but I loved the food and best of all I did not get sick.

They had the rolls today! They asked same grill or separate, and I’m not typically CC sensitive. Be more assertive if you are! I got the Luke’s Trio: shrimp, crab and lobster!
Okay so I will say, I’d prefer the lettuce wrapped lobster roll from Legal. The bun was awesome, the seafood itself was very mid. 5/10 solely because they had the gluten free bun. Paid 39$ for the trio GF and water.

I went today and they said they are not currently serving gluten free rolls ☹Not sure if it’s temporary. I would Call before going. They do offer gf bisque. I went for a lobster roll, not bisque.

We went to Luke's specifically for the gf lobster roll, and walked a long way to get there, lol. When we finally did, they were OUT of the gf rolls, sadly, but their lobster bisque and clam chowder are both gf, so that saved us. I had lobster bisque that was great, and my husband had the regular lobster roll. We didn't realize it would be cold, but it was SO flavorful! I got to pick some lobster from it, and the seasoning was just perfect. I'd love to go back when they have gf bread in stock!

The food is absolutely delicious! All of the rolls (on gf buns), the chowder, and the bisque are great. I really missed lobster bisque and this bisque is up there with the best. The employees are understanding, and do what they can to prevent contamination.

Visiting Boston and wanted a GF lobster roll. Great options here. We got to try the trio roll with lobster, crab and shrimp as well as the lobster sampler with different seasonal flavors. Ordered through grub hub then called to discuss GF precautions, and they were very proactive.

I don’t know why Boston celiacs keep ranking these places highly when they won’t keep basic guidelines for cross contamination.
People: if they won’t guarantee no cross contamination or won’t use a separate space and utensils, it is NOT celiac friendly. Stop ranking these places and risking other people’s health.

Staff are knowledgeable and asked if we had a gluten allergy. Bread is one of the best gluten free rolls that I’ve had. Definitely recommend. Gluten free rolls do cost an extra $2, however
Yes
Chowder and lobster bisque are both gf. Any of the rolls can be made gf. They have wonderful gf bread and root beer!
Yes
Everything can be made gluten free. They have a separate station and they will change their gloves and wash their hands before preparing food at that station. Ate here and loved it and didn’t get sick.
Yes
So good! Knowledgeable staff. GF bread was very obviously gluten free. Would eat here again and again.
Yes
Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Had the shrimp sandwich with clam chowder-both were very good. GF sandwich roll was great!!
Yes
Had the lobster roll and poppyseed slaw...both were delicious. They tell you the roll is prepared on a separate table and grill, but of course there’s always the risk of cross contamination. Understandable for any establishment. Nice treat to be able to have a grilled lobster roll rather than lobster over greens.

Great gluten free bread on the lobster roll and wonderful gluten free clam chowder!! The staff was great and took precautions in the prep of my food. Great experience!
Good food, gluten free buns available, nice staff
Yes
Food is average and very expensive. Gluten free options in both bun and soup. $55 for two lunches felt extreme to us.
SO good!! They have GF rolls and a dedicated fryer so you can have the traditional fare without the gluten!
Yes
Delicious gluten free roll!! I cant wait to eat another before the end of my trip to Boston.
Amazing!!!!! Their chowder is gluten free (the person who makes it has a daughter with celiac). The lobster roll was perfect. The bread was some of the best I’ve had! The staff was very aware of celiac and cross contamination, they wiped everything down before making my food and they changed their gloves. Everything was clearly labeled. They say they can’t guarantee there won’t be CC but they take all the necessary steps and I didn’t get sick :)
Yes
Great food, nearly everything is either GF or can be.
Yes
The gluten free buns are delicious! Although they can’t completely account for cross contamination, they were knowledgeable of what to do to limit the risk as much as possible. They also have a lot of dairy free options
Yes
Had a separate station for the gluten free buns. Can't guarantee no cross-contamination, but they knew what they were talking about and tried their best. Didn't get sick, and the gluten free roll was yummy!
Yes
The menu is very clear on which items can be made gluten free or dairy free. I was able to get a GF Lobster Roll with a GF bun. The GF bun was the best I have ever had.
Yes
Absolutely delicious!!! Gluten free bread available for lobster rolls
Oh my gosh! The clam chowder is so creamy and delicious!! I bought 2 bowls!
Great lobster roll - gluten free bun and they were careful and knowledgeable. Cleaned grill before roasting my roll but also providing warning they couldn’t guarantee no cross contamination which I respect and is reasonable. I’m not super sensitive but I didn’t have any issues

Tried this place first day in a Boston with my husband and really enjoyed it. I had a million questions and they were patient and answered them all. I got the disclaimer that they cannot promise a complete 100% gluten free meal because there is gluten in the area and they use a shared press however they stated they had never had any problems and service a lot of Celiacs with success. They said they clean the press well, change gloves and do all there best efforts to avoid cross contamination. I asked if they could wrap mine in aluminum foil before pressing it as an extra precaution but they said they did not have any unfortunately. They gave me quite a few options if I didn’t feel super safe with having my roll pressed such as having it as a salad or just having it cold with warm butter poured over it. I opted for the cold Trio with warm butter just because it was my first day in Boston and wanted to decrease the chances of cross contamination as much as possible. I also had the clam chowder which was amaaaaazing. They took care of my meal carefully and I was super thankful for there patience!!

Pricey but worth it. The gluten free buns are great. The staff gives the standard we cannot guarantee it!s safe but it has not made sick and I am very sensitive.

Lobster roll was delicious, and they're well educated about cross-contamination.

Got gf Lukes Trio and clam chowder. All really good! I think shrimp roll was the best
Fantastic lobster rolls. The soups were pretty good too.

The staff was so unbelievably patient, helpful, and knowledgable. When I asked about the gluten free rolls, they proceeded to tell me the steps they would take to avoid any potential cross contamination. While they went to get more rolls from the back, they told me about all the other options I could get including the soups, which they purchase locally from a guy whose daughter is celiac. This was all done during the lunch rush hour to boot.....and it was delicious

Delicious!!! Lobster, crab and shrimp gluten free rolls!!
My favorite gf lobster roll in New England. Loved the gf roll and buttery lobster!
They have buns that are gluten free for their rolls.
Yes
Luke’s Lobster was wonderful. They have fried fish, pickles, chicken, calamari and other items you can get gluten free. The gluten free lobster roll was my favorite. Next time I go, I want to try the gluten free lobster chowder. I did not have a reaction and I am allergic to gluten.
