This Lulu’s location is my default for Mexican food. I’ve never had an issue and have a few favorites that I get on an almost weekly basis. While they aren’t dedicated GF most of their menu is available to eat safely.

One of my go-to places for delivery orders. They know their stuff and mark my dish as the gf one in the order. Some of the meat options aren’t gf, so just ask before ordering and double check about how they’re cooking it that day (like can they keep it in a non cross contaminated part of the grill). I mostly eat vegetarian, so it’s a non-issue for me. They have gf chips made in a separate fryer. I love them!

I feel pretty confident eating here. They understand gluten and have many options, including a burrito with a GF flour tortilla that is pretty darn good.

Staff seems knowledgeable. Always get fish tacos. Eaten here a dozen + times. Never been sick. I’m a sensitive celiac.

For a celiac standpoint this place seems safe to eat and I haven’t gotten sick after eating here. But on a regular review site, I wouldn’t be giving it 4 Stars. The food is incredibly expensive for what it is and the portions are small. The wait times are long and, even though I don’t get sick, the nonchalance of the counter staff and the staff preparing food make me nervous. I realized I can’t enjoy myself here. Won’t be coming back.

Excellent fresh food. Clearly marked gluten free choices. Plentiful options. Very accommodating.

This is a very casual place - you order at the counter and food is brought to your table. Like a fast food place for ambience.
But I am giving 5 stars because the food tasted fine and I believe it was gluten free.
The menu is clearly marked with GFs. I ordered one of the chicken mole dishes, and also told the cashier that I needed it to be gluten free. After I sat down, she came over and said that one of the cooks said the mole dishes include chicken broth and that she didn't think that it was gluten free. So I changed my order to enchiladas. Even though the mole dishes were marked GF on the menu, I consider this a positive experience because the staff was paying attention.

I thought they did a good job. Food was great! Had a great gluten free menu. Lots to choose from.

This restaurant was filthy. From the tables, to the windows to the food stuck to the trays. yes, trays. like they don't wash them. Staff was standing around chatting. All the tables were dirty. Yes, all of the empty tables were dirty. Icky. Sad too because we like their food and gf options.

Finally, I can eat what I want without feeling compromised! Great gluten free menu!

It's really nice to find a place that sales Mexican food but takes the effort to learn about gluten allergy. Lots of options and the stuffs are really knowledgable.
so relieved to find a good safe place to eat!

Delicious and lots of choices. Their gluten free menu says... "Lulu's Kitchens take all necessary steps to avoid contamination of gluten free items including preparing each gluten-free item on designated trays with was paper. Cooking and reheating items in specially designated gluten free cooking equipment and utensils. Maintaining separate containers, using dedicated fryers."
Highly recommended!!

I went here with some friends. Two of us from our group have gf issues. Although the food was delicious my friend and I had reactions to what we ate even though we used their gf menu and we were repeatedly reassured everything we were eating was gf. I think their masa may be the culprit.
The gluten free menu is paper and on the counter. Lots of items to choose from! The woman who helped me was super helpful too. Best part? I got to have a chili relleno, something I've really missed.

Tasty, fresh, fast mexican food with a gluten free menu and if you request it, gluten free chips fried in a dedicated fryer. All this and some street side tables to boot. I can feel normal grabbing a quick taco with chips with my hubby again. So far I've not had a reaction either. Thank you Lulu's!
Not the best Mexican I've had, but certainly not the worst, and I can appreciate the easy GF menu. PS Their chips are fried in only a chip fryer, so they are safe from contaminants!
Excellent fresh mexican food. separate GF menu. friendly staff.
A GF burrito is a relative rarity. Lulu’s is pretty solid. Plenty of outdoor seating.

We eat here all the time. I think they have great food here and I really appreciate the fact that they have a Chile relleno that I can eat! I thought the staff seemed very helpful as always.

GF menu items clearly marked, and many GF options beyond simple tacos on corn tortillas. Great food and service! My celiac partner was fine, and we both really enjoyed it.

Their online menu (not order site, see details below) has things clearly marked what can and can’t be gf. Lots of great options!
Ordering online through different sites though is a bit tricky. Some sites for pickup allow you to hit gluten free on items that aren’t in the menu marked as gf - not clear whether that means they can modify them or what. I went the default safe route and only got something (tamales) listed as gf on the main site menu. Delicious and no cross contamination issues. That being said we ended up doing through door dash (yet another order site) and they didn’t have the same GF order options although they did allow notes on the items.
So, be cognizant of details if ordering online. But yum for the food! (I give it an overall “4”/5 for safety due to the multiple online ordering options being so different and making it possible to accidentally order something not gf and getting confused).

They have GF tortillas! They made a note about my “allergy” and claimed they would change gloves and warm the tortilla in a separate area. I didn’t get sick!
