I’ve been here plenty of times and usually have good experiences, but will not be back following my experience last night.
I asked if the Buffalo chicken salad could be made GF and our server said it could be and I specified it was an allergy.
It came out with the breaded stringy onions (which I knew from past visits were not GF). I asked the waitress who brought it if it was GF and she said she was sure it was but would double check. Came back with the manager and said they were sorry it was not, and took it away.
The manager came back and apologized and gave me a new salad - this time with croutons. I pointed this out and she looked embarrassed and said they would make a brand new one.
At this point I was pretty nervous, so when the third one came out I asked the waitress if it was GF (different waitress) and she had no idea. I told her I had already gotten two wrong salads and have an allergy so she went and asked and came back and said it was.
I got to the bottom of the salad and there was a crouton.
Excellent variety - so much on the menu can be made gluten free - add a gluten free bun for sandwiches/burgers (or do a lettuce wrap), cauliflower crust for pizzas, dedicated fryer for fries/house-made potato chips, etc. Make sure to specify when ordering that you have an allergy and not a preference for avoiding gluten, and things will turn out perfectly.
I was amazed the first time I ate here with all the gluten free options or meals that can be made gluten free! My favorite are the flatbreads, but I also enjoyed the chicken caprese. My only critique is the meals tend to be light on the seasoning for my taste, but I am very pleased with all the meal options! Never had a negative reaction to any meal eaten here.
I have tried this place 3 times since the Manchester Maggie McFlys has alway been successful celiac friendly. I have tried the burgers and most recently chicken nuggets. Within a half hour I get a headache and the stomach problems begin. Be cautious when eating here
They now have a dedicated fryer so wings, chips and potato skins labeled as gf are. However, with such a large menu and sometimes being crowded, it's always good to ask questions and confirm that they are careful with cross contamination.
Gluten free items are clearly labeled on menu. Wide variety of items including wings, burgers, pasta, pizza, and one dessert. It's also delicious!
Awesome experience!! Chips were fried in separate fryer … so I was able to enjoy some nachos. Also had the lettuce wraps which were very delightful. I wish to come back here as I was only able to come here for a few appetizers. Amazing !!!! I highly recommend !! Staff was amazing as well !!!
I had the grilled shrimp, rice, and spinach. I have been itching nonstop since I finished my plate. Manager came up to my table and told me people eat here all the time with gluten allergies and have no problem. I told her my body doesn’t lie, I’m itching right now all over and my reaction is only this bad if I get a full serving. This is more than a contamination. My daugther had GF kids pasta and my son had GF chicken nuggets and fries. I tried a piece of each from their plate. I will not trust to eat here again, very disappointed.
Was in the area for work so stopped by after to pick up some dinner. When I called in the man who answered was very knowledgeable about gluten free items & protocols in the kitchen; their menu online isn't marked but he assured me they have a dedicated fryer. Got the Farm to Table Burger with truffle fries. When I checked the box the fries were just regular fries so I called back as I was still in the parking lot and the man that answered (different one than before, assuming the manager?) said he would make me a fresh order and gave me a large size instead of the smaller size that comes as a side. The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent as well.
