Sooo good y’all. Just go! The best pulled pork and Alabama White Sauce
Request a gluten-free menu and you will get their regular menu with the items circled that are gluten-free. The white sauce and mustard sauce were indicated as gluten-free. There are a few choices. I played it safe with a baked potato with brisket and no sauce. The lemonade was the best part of the meal - it was delicious!!
Love Jack’s, but apparently there is a debate Jack’s vs Martin’s in Nashville. We tried Martin’s for the first time. There was a LONG line, and they just opened, so we sat at the bar rather than waiting since we were flying back home that afternoon. The bartender was able to point out everything that was GF on the menu. He even let me know what sauces I could have (not many as compared with Jack’s). Overall, awesome place.
Allergen menu listing what has gluten in it. Staff indicated they did have a dedicated fryer despite previous reviews, but I didn’t order anything from it. Excellent, melt-in-your-mouth brisket. Pinto beans had good flavor. Broccoli salad was a little dry but wasn’t bad. Loved that they have lots of sauce options. Most everything had a little spice to it, but none of it tasted bad. Cashier put “CHANGE GLOVES” on ticket without me having to ask. I’m a first-time visitor and definitely plan to come back!
I talked with the staff, thoroughly explaining how I am celiac and very sensitive. They made amazing accommodations, one waitress was very knowledgeable about gluten allergy and very helpful. I asked for the brisket with the broccoli salad and a baked potato. Also I asked for no bread on the tray and a glove change for my meal. She even went to the back and told the chef about the adjustments herself to make sure everything went well. 10/10.
Has allergen menu with gf listed. Dedicated fryer...except tonite - someone put hush puppies in by mistake- at least they told me! Will update after we eat with how it was. Adding - 4 months later - we’re back and fryer is NOT dedicated gf.
Asked for gluten free items and was given list with allergy info. Ordered grilled chicken, baked beans, and cole slaw. All were listed as gluten free. When food arrived was on bread. Tested items with Nima gluten sensor and chicken and baked beans tested positive for gluten. When asking to speak to manager he stated the “baked beans are listed as gluten free on the allergy list but we add soy sauce to them. A little isn’t going to hurt.” He then pointed to another listed and stated this says they have gluten. I informed him we were told they were gluten free. Did Not seem to care. Will not be eating here again.
I really wanted to like this place, but sadly I did not. We went on a Monday night and it felt like everyone was drunk. We asked one of the servers if they have gluten free options because I have a gluten allergy and he said yes , and that there is a list at the counter with items that contain gluten. Great! we looked over the menu for about two minutes and went to the register where we ordered from the SAME person we originally asked about the gf options. we looked over the gluten containing items list and I got the pulled pork on a tray and a loaded potato with broccoli salad.. no where under the tray items did it say anything about bread. I confirmed with him again, that I was ordering gluten free. My fiance ordered a fried chicken sandwich and the server asked if he wanted everything on it.. he said "yes, however it is recommended on the menu". 5-10 minutes later a girl comes out with our meal which consisted of: pulled pork on two big slices of bread with my loaded baked potato right next to it and a broccoli salad in a small cup. my fiance's was two pieces of fried chicken on a bun with nothing on it. what a joke... not going back.
