This used to be one of my safe go to restaurants. We just went in and the manager said they have backed off their gluten free protocols and are not as careful about the gluten ingredients. She said she not risk eating here because of cross contamination.

They used to be a safe place for GF and tasted good but the food wasn’t that great and they no longer are gluten free. We asked what was available that was GF and the waitress wasn’t helpful. She sort of shrugged her shoulders and said I’d probably be fine with a taco because meat doesn’t have gluten. (We all know ground beef isn’t always safe at a Mexican restaurant.)

Called after Skillman location closed, was told nothing is safe. They no longer care to serve the gluten free community.

Love this place, but do dad that they’ve done away with their gf menu! For years we’ve made sure to stop on every visit from Oklahoma just to have their chili relleno. They are no longer making it :(. You can still get one grilled, but not a gf breaded one— which was absolutely the best!

Love this place! The chips, rice, queso, enchiladas* and tamales are GF. (The red enchilada sauce is MOT gf). Been here a few times and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The chips are not in a shared fryer, there is no flour in the rice. I believe you can make tacos gf with corn tortillas. My only complaint is that it’s very salty, but it’s good priced and great food

In town for high school band competition, thought I’d give them a try. I am so glad I did. Menu is clearly marked for GF items and I even got to have a burrito!! Food was delicious. Waitress was very kind and wasn’t sure about a meal question I asked, she said let me go ask. I highly recommend!!! I don’t know about cc, I’d probably say there is. I am not Celiac, but super sensitive. No issue for me.

Just ate here at the Royce City location (NOT CLOSED!!!) for the first time, great experience. Lindsey the manager and the whole staff made me feel SUPER comfortable. My partner and I are both gluten free, I am celiac, he is by choice. We split the Bob’s dip, and the chili relleno. The dip was good, the relleno was amazing. Highly recommend. We will be back for more, almost the entire menu is GLUTEN FREE!!! The flour tortillas and the cream gravy are not. You can get most everything on corn tortillas.
