Lots of “gluten free” marked items on the menu but not sure if I believe any of it. I got chips and dip and enchilada plate with rice and beans, all supposedly gluten free and checked by the chef and was immediately sick after and had celiac symptoms for the next 24hrs.

No GF menu, but everything is clearly marked. Our server told us that just about everything either was or could be made GF. Bob Armstrong dip and enchiladas were so good!

I'm in town in Dallas for a work trip and hope this w ould be a safe place to eat for someone with Celiac. My boss and I ordered online and he specified that it was for someone who needed food to be GF. Unfortunately it seems there was some cross contamination as I feel pretty sick now 3 hours after eating. Would not reccomend for my fellow celiacs.

They have dedicated fryers and seemed very confident, but I’ve been in the bathroom all day today after eating there. I’m extremely sensitive so if you are too I’d say be careful. I had the taquitos.
But if you do eat there and risk it for anything, have the queso! 😂best queso I’ve ever had

Great service. They went above and beyond for their gluten free preparations and we felt comfortable eating here. We loved their chili relano and their queso. Everything else was pretty good but I probably wouldn’t order again (enchilada, taco, tamale). Very large portions.

I loved this restaurant! Almost the whole menu was available gluten free, even the chips and queso. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back.

Great Tex-Mex in the Lower Greenville/Uptown Dallas area. The majority of the menu is marked gluten-free. The chips are corn and they’re in a separate fryer. I enjoyed pork tamales with retried beans & rice. I also loved the apple cider margarita!! Reasonably priced and delicious food.
During COVID-19, the staff is all in masks. Tables are spaced out inside and there is patio seating available too.

Lots of GF options all marked on the menu! Didn't get sick, and the enchiladas were delicious! Definitely the best homemade chips I've had in awhile!!
Yes
Dedicated fryer so the chips are safe! Almost everything is gluten free, and very very good. The Bob Armstrong dip was excellent, and the beef enchiladas were also good; they had a lot of quality meat and were not drowning in sauce. If I lived in Dallas, I’d definitely be going back!
Yes
Great food. Lots of yummy gluten free options. Dedicated frier. Helpful staff. Great experience. And opened late too!
Yes
They have a dedicated fryer for GF and make their chips and taco shells in house. The menu is labeled, mostly everything was gluten free. Had a great time and didn’t get sick.
Yes
We were actually able to eat fresh chips! I am a sensitive celiac and had absolutely no issues. Most of the menu is gluten free and our waitress was extremely knowledgeable. She warned me not to get the taquitos as they are cooked in a fryer that ocassionally has a sopapilla or two cooked in it. The chips are cooked in their own fryer so they are safe. I had the enchiladas and my mom are the regular dinner. Both were delicious and I highly recommend!
Yes
Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The food was excellent! They have a dedicated fryer and nearly everything on the menu can be gf. I’m extremely sensitive but I was fine eating here. My new favorite place to go! Our sever Ryan was unbelievable!
Can’t wait to go back!
Yes
I eat here way too much. There’s TONS of options on the menu, including some chicken fried steaks. However, they don’t have gf gravy, so don’t order that one. The menu is CLEARLY marked which is awesome. Their soup and taquitos are amazing, as well as their enchiladas. I really wish their sour cream sauce was safe but their other sauces are pretty good. Fajitas are pretty good and you get a ton!
Great place for Telmex with a super clear menu with regards to GF options. The staff are also super knowledgeable, so ask about drinks or food if you’re unsure. Go for the $4 GF giant margaritas during happy hour until 7 pm on Mondays through Fridays.
Yes
I got the Avocado Enchiladas and it claimed gluten free as well as the chips. My intestines said otherwise.
No
Almost everything on the menu is gluten free. I had the chips and salsa, beef and guacamole enchiladas, absolutely delicious!
Yes
Delicious, very reasonably priced, authentic and lots of gluten free choices. GF items are marked on the menu. Ask for glove change and extra precautions. Rice and beans are especially good! We loved this place!
Yes
Great food and really safe for Celiacs like me! My family and I have been going there for years without a problem, including two daughters, a sister, and a grandson that have Celiac disease.
Love this place! Staff understands gluten issues and I’ve eaten here 5+ times and have never gotten sick.
Yes
This is soooo good! The menu is marked with what is gluten free and most things are gluten free. They know, understand, and take proper precautions. This is amazing food too! Tacos are filled top to bottom with meat, it’s REAL shredded chicken you can actually see not just pulverized chicken slurry, the spices are spot on... This is the real deal!
I’ve never seen a Mexican restaurant with so many gluten free options. My partner has celiac and has not had any issue here. The staff advised the kitchen of the allergy and a member of the kitchen came out and confirmed everything that my partnered order did not have gluten.
Yes
Almost the entire menu is gluten free!! Great place for gf tex mex!!
Yes
Always my favorite before I had to be gluten-free, and now I am even happier!! Tons of GF options! You won't feel deprived.
I have celiac and I had no problems. I had chips and salsa and gluten free chicken enchiladas with green sauce, sour cream and queso with rice and beans. It was delicious. I will definitely be going back to try other gluten free items.
Yes
Celiac safe. I had shredded chicken tacos, chips and queso and salsa. No issues. Didn't get sick.
Yes
Celiac safe... Got the chips & queso and brisket tacos on corn tortillas and rice. Will go back
SO many gluten free choices. enchiladas, tacos, nachos, fried shrimp. you name it, they had it. got nachos and enchiladas to split. rice and beans were awesome as were the nachos. ate the chips with no problem. ill go back again the next time im in Dallas!
The staff is very thorough! I ordered a labeled GF item and the server informed me that during their GF verification they realized that they started ordering an ingredient that hasn't been confirmed GF or not and asked me if I would like to change my order. Very impressed!
GF items clearly Marked on the menu, but you need to ask for corn tortillas in place of flour for fajitas. So, use cation when ordering.
Almost everything is GF!!! It was like christmas, tons of choices: enchiladas, fried chile rellano, fried catfish, shrimp, chicken fried steak, chips are fried in dedicated fryer. Manager explained extensive training of staff and procedures to avoid cross contamination. Faborite so far is chicken enchiladas with verde sauce.
The gluten free flautas with chile con queso sauce was very good. Lots of GF options. Great for large groups and families. However, service is pretty bad. I had three different waiters over the course of our meal.
The menu is clearly marked with GF items and they actually offer some great fried options that are GF. We love the fried avocado lettuce wraps!
The new menu is not only gluten friendly. The majority of the food on the menu (like 90%) is Gluten free. Awesome FOOD!
Yes
This used to be one of my safe go to restaurants. We just went in and the manager said they have backed off their gluten free protocols and are not as careful about the gluten ingredients. She said she not risk eating here because of cross contamination.

In town for high school band competition, thought I’d give them a try. I am so glad I did. Menu is clearly marked for GF items and I even got to have a burrito!! Food was delicious. Waitress was very kind and wasn’t sure about a meal question I asked, she said let me go ask. I highly recommend!!! I don’t know about cc, I’d probably say there is. I am not Celiac, but super sensitive. No issue for me.

They used to be a safe place for GF and tasted good but the food wasn’t that great and they no longer are gluten free. We asked what was available that was GF and the waitress wasn’t helpful. She sort of shrugged her shoulders and said I’d probably be fine with a taco because meat doesn’t have gluten. (We all know ground beef isn’t always safe at a Mexican restaurant.)

Love this place, but do dad that they’ve done away with their gf menu! For years we’ve made sure to stop on every visit from Oklahoma just to have their chili relleno. They are no longer making it :(. You can still get one grilled, but not a gf breaded one— which was absolutely the best!
