Went here for lunch, great option as everything is marked as gluten free or can be made gluten free. They noted it all down on my order and had no issues or reaction!

Had the gluten free chicken pesto sandwich. So good! They did ask if it was an allergy. I ordered online so I did not see the prep area. Was a delicious sandwich and I did not get sick.

The Caesar salad was good and marked as completely gluten free. I asked about the dressing and what the crunchy bits are that were listed. They looked through the allergy book and assured me everything gluten free. The crunchy things were fried quinoa. While I know quinoa is gluten free I do not trust that they were fried appropriately. DO NOT GET THEM! I don't feel well and that's the only thing that it could have been.

Gluten free labels are on the menu for things that aren’t usually gf, such as the Cesar dressing and chipotle ranch dressing on their “gf” salads. The grill and toasters are shared but I was offered fresh gf bread as substitute. Overall very polite staff but it is not on my best safety rating

Such a good lunch! My mom and I ate here for our first meal while awaiting check in at our nearby hotel. We split a chicken pesto sandwich on gf bread as well as the avocado quinoa superfood salad. The girl who took our order was so personable and welcoming. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in downtown San Diego.

Had a wonderful sandwich here, 100% recommend this place. Chicken, prosciutto, pesto π and GF bread was perhaps best I’ve ever had.

i LOVED the gf sandwich i got from mendocino farms in san diego. the gf bread was really good and the woman at the till was understanding about my having coeliac disease and she made sure that the staff kept my sandwich separate from the non gf sandwiches :) highly recommend but do make sure you let them know if you are coeliac !

The menu is great for gluten free people. They take cross contamination very seriously and they are very knowledgeable about the ingredients. Most things can be made gluten free, but there are some things that can’t be, like the chicken parm dip. I had the gluten free chicken caprese sandwich and I loved it! I saw people saying that the gluten free bread fell apart, but I didn’t have that issue at all. It was a little hard, but I prefer harder bread. I feel super comfortable eating here and I haven’t had a reaction to anything I’ve ordered gluten free there. The only thing I don’t like is the prices. It’s wayyyy over priced, but it’s a California business, so I don’t really mind. Definitely not an everyday sandwich place.

They were very accommodating to my gluten sensitivity and even cleaned the countertop to ensure no cross contamination. Very much so recommend!
