It was so hard to choose what to buy! So many tempting choices.
I ended up getting focaccia bread we all had with dinner last night and not a bite was leftover.
Also got the feta and roasted tomato scones-yum!
My husband loves the raspberry almond bars and I agree. Black and white cookie was a little disappointing. Cookie was soft and nothing special. Icing was delicious, of course.
We haven’t tried the breads yet, but they look great.
No tummy issues!! I’m Celiac.
My understanding is they have a separate kitchen for GF. They do sell bakery items with and without gluten.
On separate shelves. 😊

Simply amazing! Gorgeous baked goods that taste “real” - I was so happy with what I bought - rustic bread, crumb loaves, and bagels

Bakery with gf items (non gf too so be careful!) The gf brownie was outstanding.

Meredith's Bread is a real find for those seeking gluten-free awesomeness. What sets them apart is their dedicated facility, where they make all their gluten-free goodies. This means no risk of cross-contamination, giving peace of mind to those with gluten sensitivities.
My personal favorite? Their black and white cookie. It's soft and delicious, just like the ones I remember from childhood, unlike some gluten-free foods that can be dry and crumbly.
But it's not just the cookies that are the great. Everything from their breads to muffins, cookies to biscuits, is top-notch. You can taste the quality in every bite.
What's great is that Meredith's Bread makes their goodies accessible by hitting up many farmers' markets in and around the area. Here is a list of where and when you can find Meredith’s Bread outside of their place in Kingston: https://www.meredithsbread.com/farmers-market-locations
Overall, Meredith's Bread is a solid choice for anyone looking for tasty gluten-free baked goods. No frills, just good food made with care.

Meredith’s — both this location and their distribution point at the Courtelyou Farmer’s Market — is just not very good. It’s safe! And I’ve had fun grabbing baked goods there over the years. But it’s just not that good. Gluten-free baking does not need to be dense and crumbly. I wish they’d take the task more seriously, producing something that’s not just safe, but also delicious.

Meredith’s bread is one of my favorite gluten free bakeries that I’ve ever been to and I think it deserves much more praise. I really love the bread, bagels, scones and everything else. As a celiac I’m often disappointed with gf bakeries that specialize in things like cupcakes or cookies since those are actually really easy to make gf at home and it’s much more laborious to make bread. Meredith’s gf products are made in a separate gf facility, the prices are unbeatable (at least in comparison to gf bakeries in LA & NYC) and the store is charming. Thank you Meredith’s Bread!

Really enjoyed the gluten free treats I got from Meredith’s bread stand near the Indian Museum and Wall Street. We just happened to see their stand and bought cookies, biscotti, and a rhubarb strawberry pie. Everyone enjoyed them, even non gluten free people!

I was so disappointed by this place. We tried cookies, pies and scones. The cookies were ok but you could just get a box of cookies at the grocery store and they’d be better tasting. The pies were bad, and the scones were flavorless and somehow both greasy and dry. We didn’t get glutened. I’ve heard the bread is good but I don’t know, I would skip it.

The chocolate covered raspberry explosions and caramel explosions are fantastic. So are the black & white cookies, brownies, mini key lime pie and cherry tart. The cinnamon raisin bagels were a little gummy and the blueberry muffin also a bit on the outside, but once toasted with butter - yum! We’ve gone twice on the way back from skiing and will definitely be going back when heading up again. It’s just a few minutes from the NYS Thruway. Seems they have two kitchens - one for GF and one for gluten items. (There is a sign outside for the bakery that says dedicated gluten free bakery AND traditional bakery). All GF items only on one wall of the retail shop. Felt very safe and no reaction for my daughter.

Be careful with the walk up window!! I didn’t realize that there were gluten items available and was handed gluten items through the pick up window. Very unfortunate mistake and not their fault per say but the resort of a walk up window during Covid.

The cherry tart was oh, so good! The macaroons and bread were delicious as well. My daughter got the wheat bread with garlic and herbs and howled in ecstasy:)
Just passing through this town and happened to notice this dedicated gluten free bakery. So glad I did! So so many items to choose from. I ended up ordering three different loaves of bread and two scones. Delicious so far!

I love this bakery. I come here often. I've liked everything I've had from here, but especially their bagels, rosemary olive bread, muffins, black and white cookies and explosion cookies. An employee once explained to me the strict protocol they use in their facility and I've never felt sick after eating anything from here. I recommend it to my family and friends.

Recently learned about Meredith's Bread having GF goods and my oh my .... amazing bread and snacks that are gluten free with descent prices. So delighted to find a place that takes gluten contamination seriously as I have a gluten allergy. A must go for scrumptious gluten free goods.

I was diagnosed with celiac disease around 8-9 years ago, and have been craving and searching for black and white cookies and I finally found it at this amazing little bakery ! I highly recommend this place! It’s absolutely wonderful, the muffins are also extremely moist and delicious!

Dedicated gluten free cooking. Knowledgeable staff. Pleasant staff. Delicious baked goods. Highly recommended.
Tried the scones, muffins, and carrot bread. All delicious! No place to sit, just carry out.
Hands down best GF cookies. Moist, soft and chewy. I don't know how they do it. ALL others are not even close.
Amazing gluten-free baked goods!
