The best GF pizza I’ve had. So delicious and no stomachache afterwards. It was actually still good cold the next morning!
GF crust is good. The pizza is tasty. No issues after I ate here.
They have a very good gf crust, my favorite is the hamburger pizza.
Delicious! They have a good gf crust, my favorite is the hamburger pizza!
THE BEST. Taste the way I remember pizza tasting before eating gluten-free.
I’ve worked at lots of pizza places growing up and ate lots of pizza. I really don’t know how Minskys does it, but they were able to create a greasy yummy gluten-free pizza with crunchy crust. I definitely wish there was a deep dish option but for now the thin crust is delicious!
There are some toppings that aren’t gluten free, so make sure to Google or ask for the gluten-free menu.
They also use different tools to cut the gluten free pizza!
Also their margaritas are so delicious!
Moved close to this location, so far it’s been great! No sickness after eating!!
Ordered GF pizza from the GF menu. They must have brought me pizza with a regular crust! Obviously, I survived the night but was violently sick. My wife (non-celiac) ate some of my pizza and was fine. We were both suspicious of the beautiful, doughy crust, but trusted this place because our waitress said that they had new, GF options. Wish now that we had made her check with the kitchen. This experience was unacceptable!
Only my second time eating out since eliminating gluten and I was thrilled! A full, great gluten free menu and wonderful pizza that the whole family enjoyed.
love their papa Minsky's gluten free pizza. just wish u could get a larger pizza
best gluten free pizza crust I have found yet! I have not had any problems with cross contamination either! Highly recommend!
this restaurant is awesome. apparently they may not have GF crusts @ all times, when i called they had to verify they had some.
complete GF menu..appetizer, salad, pizza (full choice!) and even 2 types of cake pieces for dessert!!! lemon cake was great.
pizza crust was fabulous. reminds me of Godfather's. was told same guy started both. a side of sauce may not be a bad idea, some areas of the crust were thicker & therefore a bit dry in some bites.
service was great!
I had the GF crust and told the waitress I have Celiac and she made the comment the pizzas are "all made the same" which was concerning. The pizza itself was delicious, but I'm pretty sure I got glutened a little from cross contamination. It isn't enough for an entirely painful experience but enough for discomfort and I'm ready for it to be over.
Called to verify food preparation for allergen precautions. Staff and manager didn’t know what celiacs was. For GF items, I was told everything is prepared in the same area and the same toppings are used between GF/Non-GF and the same oven is used. Read the other reviews so went in hoping for more and watched the food preparation…they do not prepare pizza to be free of gluten as it is cooked with other pizzas and there is CC from poor food handling. This pizza is not celiac safe, they’re full of shit.
On their website they say they go through gluten sensitivity training. I ordered the Detroit pizza and it was so good! Probably my new favorite pizza! The person I talked to on the phone was very nice and reassuring as well.
I never post but feel I need to post this time. The gluten free Detroit style pizza is the best gluten free pizza I have ever eaten. Thanks Minskys!
I went to find out what they could do for celiac. They will use pre made GF crusts (they have a cauliflower and another one. They don’t have a separate prep area but will use clean areas and utensils for your dish. They don’t have a separate oven to cook the GF pizza in, which made me concerned about the risk so I didn’t eat there.
