I love this place SO much. It's my new favorite restaurant. I can eat almost everything on the menu. Rarely do I have so many options that I have trouble deciding!! It's a Zingerman's restaurant which means high quality (and a bit pricey) but this is one of those situations where you get what you pay for! Fabulous food - the Korean fried chicken, rice cakes (not what you think!), other fried goodies (cheese!) and the mochi cake is delicious. Be sure to get the soy butter rice - it seems so simple, but I could eat it every day!

Very cautious about celiac and cross contamination. Gluten free fried chicken - need I say more?!

Miss Kim is a go to restaurant, we eat here at least once a month with no issues. The fried chicken is gluten free made in a dedicated fryer. They list the soy sauce as grown from a wheat base, while I don’t really know what that means, it’s not recommended for celiac. They are knowledgeable and the food is delicious

The food is delicious, the majority of the menu can be made gluten free or already is, and the servers always ask first thing if anyone has any allergies, which I appreciate.

The food is superb, I had rated this place positively even before being diagnosed with Celiac and now it is practically essential. Very knowledgable about gluten cross contamination and I haven’t had any issues after eating here several times. Plus, gluten free friend chicken! And it’s really good! :D
Only reason I gave it four instead of five in safety is because it isn’t dedicated gluten free but this is a pretty safe place.

Amazing food! Lots of vegetarian/vegan options as well. A majority of the food was gluten free. Don’t order any of the bowls if you have celiac/worry about cross contamination because they season them. Staff is super knowledgeable and can answer any questions!

The fried chicken is so good, I've had it at least a dozen times without an issue. Kimchi changes daily and I've loved every kind. Very knowledgeable staff

The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious and so fun. Had the chili glazed ribs, beet salad, fried tofu, and kimchi, along with all the sides they brought. Just wow, so safe and would be a super fun spot for date night!

Friendly staff and cute space. The food was celiac safe but the food also was ice cold including the rice and egg in bibimbap bowl. Fried chicken was rubbery but the smashed potatoes were good.

Holy cow! Gluten free fried chicken! And it’s damn good! I would have been pretty happy just with the fried chicken, but plenty of the rest of the menu is gluten free or able to be made gluten free and it’s really good. Bravo!

My life is different now. WOW. This place is a must visit. Incredibly delicious fried chicken and a lot of choices! The chicken is always breaded in gf breading, and the fryer is dedicated, so no chance of cross contact there. Well worth the price imo. Really clearly labeled menu!

Love the dedicated gluten free fryer! I thought the food was fantastic. It's not every day I can have fried chicken so that was a special treat. However, the food is very pricy for the amount you get and the casual vibe of the restaurant.

Y’all. This is some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life. The menu is clearly marked and when I picked it up the chef personally told me they took every precaution to avoid contamination. You have to eat here.

The food here is DELICIOUS. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. It’s pricey, but more than worth the cost and the staff are very knowledgeable and more than willing to take allergies into account.

Our group of 6 went here after my son’s graduation. Two of us have Celiac Disease. We were thrilled that everything in the fryer was GF. We all loved our ttkeokbokki, the fried pickled lightly breaded cauliflower, and Korean fried chicken. Highly recommend for anyone.

Holy delicious! You have to order in the app and I noted gf on my items. Server came out to tell me the kitchen has noted it, and asked if it was “celiac or a preference!” So excited. And it was beyond delicious.

There is no separate gf menu and gf items are not listed on the menu, however the staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Food was good! I felt fine after eating here, so I will definitely be back.

My wife is a celiac. Has eaten here many times and never got sick. Menu items are marked if GF and they always write it down and tell the kitchen. Staff is very knowledgeable on GF. Very tasty food!

Great food & service and lots of gf choices. They note that some things are made with their house so sauce, which while it does not contain wheat fillers is started with a wheat culture. They'll remake most anything with tamari. Very knowledgeable.
Yes
Amazing food and great for celiac. They ask if you have any allergies before ordering and if you say celiac they make special accommodations. Huge selection of safe food with substitutions for certai sauces (using tamari instead of soy sauce). Items marked with gf are safe without accommodations, but items marked gf* are safe with substitutions. They are also a fair wage restaurant so tipping is not necessary (but allowed) because they pay their workers a living wage. Awesome place, please support!!
Yes
Delicious food and very safe for celiac! They do have some foods that are made with wheat based soy sauce, which are labeled with an asterisk. Avoid those dishes if you have celiac, or ask if they can be made gluten free. They do have gluten free soy sauce and are able to make some of those dishes safely. Even if you avoid the dishes with an asterisk there are still plenty of options. My boyfriend has never gotten sick here and we’ve been at least 5 times!

Amazing with celiac and also the BEST brussel sprouts I've ever had
Yes
This is a great place for GF/Celiac and vegetarians. Note that the soy sauce is in most dishes and is made from wheat-containing cultures so it’s unclear if it’s truly safe. We opted not to have the soy sauce and they made us a special GF sauce. Amazing staff, accommodating and menu is well labeled.
Yes
We enjoyed our meal here and had no ill effects, however we were told upon arrival that any menu item containing soy sauce was not truly gluten free, which very much limited the choices available. It would be great if they had an option to sub gf soy sauce.
Almost everything on the menu is Gf. They warn that they can’t recommend for celiacs because many of the items are pickled. But also stated that they are very low in parts per million. Everything we got was amazing. Favorites were the fried green beans and the chicken entree which was also fried !!!! Did not have reaction at all :) !
Very celiac friendly (and also fantastic with vegetarians and all around great service). Their fryer is GF, and everything is super well labeled, plus they take allergies very seriously. Have eaten here 4 or 5 times and never gotten sick.

multiple gluten free menu options, staff always takes my allergy seriously.even the fried chicken here is GF!
