I used to feel safe ordering the salads here-but watching from the line (from a Celic perspective) while I was waiting my turn - not safe at all for someone with celiac, even the salads.
1. The employee told me that they use the same pizza pans on the GF crusts in the oven.
2. Cross contamination central while making the food-they use their gloved hands to spread ingredients on the pizzas, and the gloves go straight from the pizza crust back into the ingredients.
3. Staff not knowledgeable while we were there-the guy making my salad dropped some meat onto a pizza he was working on, picked it off and threw it INTO my salad. He looked at me like it was from another planet when I reminded him I had celiac and that was not safe for me.
4. All food is prepped on the same surface.
To be COMPLETELY fair-it’s a hopping pizza place! It’s not marketed to be celiac friendly, so I can’t blame them. But definitely not safe unless avoiding gluten is just a preference sadly!

They do have gluten free crust options but this location is definitely not safe for celiacs. I asked for the employee taking my order to change gloves and he immediately informed me that the chances of cross-contamination were too high to even order. Left without anything.
No
Although they have two options for GF crusts, one a GF flour crust and the other a cauliflower crust, they prepare the pizzas on the same work surface causing cross contamination. Fine for people reducing gluten in their diet but not safe for celiacs.
No
Points for having a GF crust, but definitely NOT for celiacs. As I stood in a long line waiting for my turn, I witnessed full-on cross contamination with no separate GF ingredients. Probably fine for dietary preferences, but horrifying for a celiac.
No
1) Gluten free crust does not add to the price of your meal.
2) GF crust tastes better than their regular crust!!
No
Not as careful as my regular MOD.
They have decent crust and unlimited toppings but make sure to ask for special utensils and tray, there is cross contamination so I had to be stern to ask for clean utensils, the other reno location was more precautious!

They offer a gluten free crust. Workers are always sure to change their gloves and use an allergy screen when preparing your pizza. However, items are at risk of cross contamination due to the nature of the restaurant.

Excellent service! They asked me if it was an allergy or a preference. I said allergy and they pulled all fresh ingredients to prevent cross contamination. The staff was super careful not to touch anything that was an allergen (I have multiple other allergies). Overall I was very impressed.

I like Mod Pizza. I go there about once a month when I dont want to cook. I usually get the gluten-free crust, regular sauce, diary free cheese, mushrooms, onions, banana peppers, spinach, and chickpeas. I think the vegan suasage option has gluten. I also get a big salad and omit everything with gluten or dairy.
They attempt to avoid cross contaminating with changing gloves, etc, but it is all in one area. If you have celiacs and are very sensitive probably not a good idea. I am a gluten intolerant so as long as they do as much as they can, I don't have a reaction. And it depends on the level of knowledge of the staff thar is working.
They can also accommodate me for dairy free which is amazing. I don't recall about the meat they use so be sure to ask if it has gluten. I know the regular pizza sauce is safe but check with regards to the others. I think they use only basic ingredients in their products and not a lot of additives and fillers.

While a chain, we feel this location is mindful of allergies. We’ve eaten here six times with no ‘glutening’ or a reaction for my egg/dairy allergy. We’ve even placed an order for pick up, requesting a glove change in the notes, and ate safely! The pizza is just okay though. The GF pizza leaves a lot to be desired, and the vegan cheese is a little gooey. But when we’re in a hurry, it’s nice to have a safe place to grab a quick personal pizza.
