Mo's Seafood & Chowder

I was scared to eat here because of the old reviews but we chanced it and it was good. I had the Fish tacos and my son had the grilled salmon. It was tasty and we did not get sick. They assured us that it would be safe and apparently it was.

Wasn’t expecting much but needed to feed the kids quickly. I got grilled fish tacos, had to send them back because the kitchen sent breaded, but they corrected it and they were fine. No reaction. Flavor and quality were meh, and my family who can eat gluten also said the same. But glad they were there in a pinch.

The gluten free menu was somewhat limited.... fries are not gf. my order was fine but a gluten item my friend ordered had mold on the sandwich which worsened the experience, although they did give it for free in the end.

Great food! I ordered the salmon with potatoes and a side salad. It was delicious. The GF menu was more of a point out, but had a lot of options. The fries are NOT GF and the grilled fish must be specified to be GF or else it will get a dusting of flour before grilling...so definitely be aware. But I will definitely go back!

Took great care of my high school son while on a school trip, spoke with two managers who very very knowledgable. Gluten free menu available when you arrive, not online.

Mo's now has a GF menu. Unfortunately, it's not much if a menu. Their GF burgers are a piece if meat with lettuce and tomato garnish. You get steamed veggies (frozen) with your blackened fish and dinner salad when ordering a fish plate. No dedicated fryer, so no fries. I guess they're trying, but haven't yet figured it out.

Celiac friendly?

No

The wait was pretty long but the food was delicious. They have a GF menu. The server and the host said they have a lot of confidence in their food being safe, and so far I feel fine. That being said, it was REALLY good for being GF. I got the shrimp stuffed avocado and my grandma got the shrimp salad, both listed of the gf menu. Both were, again, really good!

The food is terrible, the staff are nice, doesn’t seem like a gf safe kitchen. Don’t recommend

Same story... the staff wasn't knowledgeable. Too scary for me to eat there. Absolutely not celiac friendly!

Staff is untrained and extremely uninformed about food. We waited over an hour four our table, then found out they have no gluten free foods on their menu. I do not recommend.

The nasty Burger King of seafood. Quality and freshness is horrid. Hardly any options. Not safe. Rude waiters unwilling to help. Prices are okay.

Fun location on the water. Usually packed and loud.
