Our waitress was very knowledgeable about Celiac. Everything came out perfectly. They even have a gf dessert! It was so yummy! It was our first time eating out since diagnosis.

Found a crouton in the salad dressing not just once but twice (the replacement also had a crouton in the dressing). Turns out the croutons are located directly above the dressing vats and fall in. Recommend asking for the dressing to be poured directly from the container instead of the vat on the salad line. Specify that your ticket should be an allergy ticket. It is supposed to be treated differently but in my case was not. Ask for a manager to handle your ticket.
Outback is very celiac friendly. Waiters are knowledgeable and make great suggestions. Food is always delicious and I never have to worry.

I had their Alice Springs Chicken and a sweet potato with butter and brown sugar for a side. It was all DELICIOUS! (They say their Aussie fries are not gf. I don't know if that is due to cross-contamination or what.)

One of my two favorite chains that offer gluten free dining and menu. I recommend the Outback Special and the Chocolate Thunder Down Under - which is to die for!!! Outback is always the family favorite when traveling too!

My 5 year old has celiac and they had a page of gluten free items. Appetizers, entree sides, deserts. He had steak, mashed potatoes.

I ordered online for carry-out. I very specifically noted in three different spots on the order (with steak, with salad, and with shrimp appetizer) Celiac - NO Gluten, please. I also requested No Toast with the Shrimp Appetizer, No Croutons with the salad, and No Bread with the order. When I opened the big bag there was a smaller bag with a loaf of bread sitting on top of the order. I wasn’t thrilled but it was in its own bag so I felt ok with the rest of the order other than the baked potato topping that were under the bread. As I got into the entree container, though, the add-on shrimp that I ordered with my steak was wrapped up in foil but sitting on a piece of toast. I get that I am taking a chance with cross contamination by eating at restaurants but I would have thought that they would be careful enough not to actually stick both a piece of toast and a loaf of bread in an order with Celiac marked all over it. Obviously they don’t take any care or pay any attention to food allergies.

The chicken has a lot to of spice but the steak is good. They have a delicious chocolate dessert that is such a treat but so high in calories.
