Was cross-contaminated. Even specified that I had a “gluten allergy” and couldn’t have cross-contamination.

BEWARE!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!! I have celiac disease and went to this outback because they have a gluten free menu. I ordered steak with grilled shrimp with veggies and a side salad with no croutons. Well salad came out with croutons, had to send it back. Then my order came out and the shrimp was laid out onto a piece of bread. Had to send it back. About 5 minutes later they gave me a new plate. They said they threw out my plate and made a new one. Well they didn’t make me a new one. Got sick later on in the day. If you have a GF menu at your restaurant please train your staff properly. I hope this doesn’t happen to other people. So letting others know to be very cautious!

My friend likes Big Meat do we used to go here. I'd get the filet and salad with no croutons or bread. It wasn't great food but it was okay. Then one day my friend says "hey Ellie they have a gf menu!" And makes the server bring it over. I look out over and I'm all like "wow they have gluten free barbeque! How often do ppl go out of their way to make gf bbq?" So I ordered it. It was just okay, kinda not great bbq but whatever it's gf and I didn't hafta makeit!
I was sick for a week, couldn't work out anything. I mentioned it on Facebook and my gf friend who's tapped into ask the gf communities tells me she got sick at a different Outback of the gf menu and so had a lot of ppl in her gf groups.
Not to be trusted. Mediocre food, anyway.

Waiter was very understanding of celiac. They had a gluten free menu. I had steak with jacket potatoes and broccoli. Steak was really tender and tasty. Will be going again before we leave. Bit expensive and with limited choices it’s the way it is

Good food and great service. The waiter even brought me an orange to enjoy while the others in my party ate a blooming onion.

I have gone to this location multiple times and have not gotten sick. The wait staff is very familiar with gluten free protocol.

Decided to try outback since there were good chain reviews, but the service and food quality here was lacking. They did offer a GF menu, but options did still feel limited. I got the sirloin steak, baked potato, and a house salad. Steak was cooked well, but bland. Baked potato was drenched in butter, which I was not expecting. No burger options for GF.
My husband got normal, gluten filled food, and it was also sub par. We thought it was funny that his burger bun was falling apart as badly as GF buns do! I had little pitty for him lol
We got the chocolate thunder down under dessert, which was yummy, but very very rich.
All in all, it was over priced for the quality of food we got. I did not have a reaction, so good on that front.
