Paper Dosa

I told my waiter that I have celiac. Luckily most items are gluten free and clearly marked. However, after I had eaten, I overheard the same waiter speaking to a member of the table next to me, “cross contamination is common because not all the ingredients can be guaranteed to be safe for celiacs.” I had some pretty significant stomach upset after eating here although not the body aches and headaches I normally get with gluten contamination.

I would have appreciated the waiter being more honest with me and not just the table next to me.

SO GOOD. My favorite restaurant in Santa Fe by far. Almost everything on the menu is gf but I highly recommend the dosas as they are their specialty. The waiter was very understanding and said there was no risk of cross contamination.

Excellent food - almost everything on the menu is gluten free! The dosas and all of the chutneys/sauces are delicious. To top it off, the service is fantastic!

Most of the menu is gluten free. Server was great going over everything with us. We ordered everything gluten free for our group to share. Everyone enjoyed. Will go back.

This place was recommended by a non-GF friend so I was happy to see they had many GF options. The food was delicious and our waitress was helpful in making recommendations. The portions were quite big as well.

Have eaten food several times and it has tested gluten free every time with Nima which is excellent! Have eaten dosas with all chutneys and their curries and rasmalai. They use asafoetida (or Hing) for sambhar and for some other things so those are not completely gluten free. Their owner and head chef Paul is very nice and makes sambhar for me without asafoetida if I email him even one day before my planned visit (which is very often). He also tried using gluten free asafoetida but didn’t get the same flavor as the regular asafoetida which is unfortunate but still works for me.

Best place! I’m gluten free and dairy free. The staff is so kind and helpful! I got the taster menu and had countless options. If I lived in town, this would be a regular. Highly recommend!

Amazing food. Our favorite celiac friendly restaurant in Santa Fe! We have eaten here several times with no issues. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The Chennai chicken, green chili cheese Dosa and curries (can sub rice for a Dosa) are so good. Only open for dinner - usually a line outside when it opens at 5, so recommend getting there a little earlier or waiting until 6/7, after the initial rush. But totally worth any wait!

I felt the staff was very celiac aware and most of the items on the menu are already gluten free. We had a party of 7 and shared meals, and every dish was wonderful. I recommend that at least one person get the dosa to share. It was very tasty and a super fun experience. We look forward to going back. They have a patio as well.

The second best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten at, after Avatar's in Sausalito. Truly great food. I would stay away from the deep fried items, but otherwise almos wverything is gluten free.

My GF family really enjoyed this. My daughter is also vegetarian and they had numerous options. The portions are ample and we had no problems. The atmosphere is lovely and the service was excellent. Very nice option in Santa Fe!

Had the Vada Sambar starter...GF and vegan. Was delicious and filling as a meal. Lots of GF options.

All the dosas (Indian crepes) are gluten-free and very tasty! Some fillings are vegetarian and some contain meat. Entrees look promising, too, although we haven't tried them yet.
