They have a GF menu-it’s very limited. They offer baked tortilla chips, they are very dry. The queso tastes medium at best. The chicken taco I ordered on a corn tortilla tasted fishy. 3 starts because I haven’t gotten sick eating there- but there are better options around which are not overpriced like this place is.
I was very impressed with the safety and quality of the food here. I had two amazingly tasty fish tacos with beans and rice. I can't have dairy, so they were careful to not put butter or cheese on or in my food. However, the GF tortilla chips are not good at all as they are not coated with oil before baking, so they are dry and terrible, but don't let that keep you from this wonderful restaurant.
Are here with my family (non Celiacs) and had a great time. When you ask for the gluten free menu the waiter asks if it's a diet preference or celiac. If you say celiac then the manager will come over and speak to you and go over the menu and then affirm that the staff will change gloves/equipment.
The chips are fried with gluten so they bring you baked chips (not as yummy) but didn't make me sick.
I had enchiladas and they were delicious. Margarita was delicious too. I had no adverse reactions to eating here and I am a celiac very sensitive to cross contamination. Cant wait to eat here again. Gluten free items come out marked with a little tag that says gluten free.
Manager and waiter were fantastic. Very knowledgeable. Got the baked chips which my son loves. They even accommodated us on Fajita Wednesday (a chicken and steak combo), but were happy to serve the meats on separate skillets to avoid cross contamination so I could eat steak and my celiac son could enjoy the chicken. Definitely coming back here again.
Had a great experience at Pappasito’s last week. I told my waiter that I am gluten free and he brought me the gluten free menu and gluten free tortilla chips. The manager came over and let me know that she would make sure no marinade would be on my chicken and communicated very well with me during my time there. The food there was amazing and I didn’t have a flare up!
Descent menu selection of gluten free items. Server took care to ask her manager when we had a question. Offered gluten free chips and tortillas! Very good food with no reaction after!
Separate gluten-free menu available. It has a few options, but if there is something you are wanting that you don’t see on the menu, just ask! My mom is a vegetarian and asked them if they could make vegetarian fajitas without lots of oil and they were happy to accommodate. My daughter wanted a quesadilla but didn’t see it on the menu - they were also happy to make that! The manager came over to make sure everything was acceptable before we ate - great service!
Manager was very knowledgeable of the ingredients in the food and gluten in general. My spouse had the tacos and I had the enchiladas. We were connecting in Houston and our flight was late, and this was one of the few restaurants still open. The food was excellent, and also GF.
Great GF food. There was a separate GF menu with several options including ice cream for dessert. Our waitress was knowledgeable about GF and brought us a separate basket of GF chips. Everything is made in house. Yummy! The vibe was great as well! The shrimp entrees we ordered ranged from $25-$35 (2/2025).
