My food was contaminated with gluten every time I went there.
Most place ever! Couldn't even eat my food because it was so bland. Never going back
The gluten free options are ..... not so equal to the gluten version. I've ordered several different GF dishes and none (except for the lettuce wraps) matched up to the gluten version (according to my fellow diners). The GF versions are WAY too salty and have a very odd flavor. Literally it was so salty, it burned my throat and was unpleasant to eat. Also the quality of the dishes varied with each visit. Sometimes the egg drop soup was amazing, sometimes it was disgusting. Sometimes the dishes were palatable, but most of the time they were awful. The garlic spinach, was literally just spinach... They don't add the sauce because it contains wheat. They should take it off the GF menu. It's an insult to advertise it with the sauce and then be told you can't have it. Being GF is already limiting, but then not having an honest representation of GF options- it's a cruel tease. I was horribly disappointed when I received a massively plate of soggy plain spinach. Definitely not even close to actual Chinese food. The chocolate dome is amazing. The lettuce wraps are almost always amazing.
If you know what actual Chinese food tastes like, don't even bother coming here. The food is filled with chemicals, total preprocessed crap. The tea was fantastic.
it's so difficult to find gluten free Chinese food but these guys have a dedicated section of their menu. i do not think their food is anything spectacular. they used to have a mango spice chicken dish with caramel that was fantastic but the menu has been changed. i had the gf ginger chicken and broccoli and it was just a bland taste. the chicken wrap appetiser is popular and it's very good. at times their staff isn't sure what is or isn't gluten free so double check before eating.
Truly my fav place to eat love all the people that work there shamel is the best waiter ever
Be careful here with ordering out. I have had two incidences where they confused a GF dish with a regular one in our take out order.
As soon as i said i was gf they brought me my own soy sauce and had some nice gf choices on the menu. My egg drop soup and noodle dish was delicious - they use separate plates for gf and seem to be very knowledgeable about cross contamination. My only complaint is that the portion sizes are small for the price they charge.
best GF chinese food ever had... hope they open a location in suffolk county too!
gluten free food is better than the regular food. my husband isn't gf and he loves it. just wish they had egg rolls or spring rolls gf.
always yummy and servers always seem to be aware of gluten free, definitely recommend for a same delicious meal!
Never gotten sick always my go to. Good gf menu they always take necessary precautions.
LOVE! I've never actually gone inside, but I do curbside pickup when I'm craving Chinese food! I missed it so much over the past few years, never feeling safe- but I've never been sick after eating food from here. It's so nice to order from the GF menu online and seeing everything properly labeled when huh pick it up.
ordered strictly off the GF Menu and had an immediate reaction to the lettuce wraps which was the appetizer. I cancelled my entire dinner order because if that came off their gluten free prep area than it's all probably contaminated. the waiter couldn't tell me for sure if there was a mistake in the kitchen made and I got the regular lettuce wraps. Unfortunate.
PF Chang's has seemed to be on the gluten bandwagon for a while, and they seemed to be pretty on their game as usual in this location. Separate gluten free menu with a fantastic chocolate cake.. Soooooo rich and delectable! Only stomach issues would be from sugar and overeating.. *groan* Fiancé loved his GF spicy chicken (and GF soy sauce), which I was able to try as well since he was so considerate. The spring onion was a nice touch on my pad Thai; the cornstarch coating on the chicken and shrimp were almost too good to be true.. the manager very good-naturedly came out and had a nice little chat with us just to reassure me. Maybe not quite the highest quality Asian I have had, but well worth the money, especially with the classy atmosphere.
Have eaten here numerous times and not gotten sick (and have Celiac). They are careful, have special plates to designate GF (so ask which ones if you want to be sure), and they have a pretty extensive menu. Wish the food were a teeny bit better but overall good and Chinese and safe so...!
I adore PF Changs but this location ALWAYS disappoints. The food is just ok (compared to the usual excellent standards), the service is meh, and the staff isn't very good. But you CAN depend on PFC for a safe meal with lots of tasty options. Just go to another location!!!
Celiac friendly! I shared Mongolian beef & rice noodle curry! Both equally delicious. Came out clearly labeled on different plates! Highly recommend!
They are very aware of gluten. Gluten free menu is huge and all gluten free items are served in dishes with a different design so the staff doesn't accidentally gluten you. No issues after I ate there and I would eat there again because it's one of the very few (maybe only) Chinese places I can eat.
I've had good luck with other PF Chang's, but I've experienced bad service here most of the time and the restaurant seems to have questionable cleanliess. Last time I went, I had a reaction to wheat despite ordering gluten free options. I recommend going down the road to the location in Dunwoody.
Great GF menu, lots of choice and food was really good. The service was excellent. Also a choice of two really good desserts. Would definitely return again.
Ordered off the GF menu and let the waitress know I had an allergy - I think she noted it to the chef. However, they served me fried rice with normal soy sauce even though I specified. Thank goodness I double checked with the server before taking a bite! They fixed the order and it was very tasty.
I had the egg drop soup, chicken lettuce wraps and shrimp with lobster sauce. It was all so delicious. They served mine on the special gf plates too.
This is the only non-dedicated gluten free restaurant that guarantees their food is gluten free. I've eaten here at least 20 times and have never gotten sick. I'm a sensitive celiac and get sick 75% of the time when trying a new restaurant, even after giving the wait staff careful instructions. Thank goodness for this place!
Great food. Separate GF kitchen.
Gf menu. Safe. Gf soy sauce. Smart staff
Didn't get sick, but the food was awful and the service was painfully slow.
We almost didn't go after reading the reviews but decided to take a chance as we don't have PF Changs in Vermont. We had a wonderful experience. Waiter was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Unlike some of the reviews, we had great service at 7:00 on a Friday night.
My husband ordered on their website for us to pick up. Loved to see the GF menu and so did my husband. We only picked two items. The staff was awesome. They had our stuff bagged with GF soy sauce. We will definitely go there again.
ate here while waiting for a flight. food came quickly and was safe, no reaction.
Close call at PF Changs. Someone placed the wrong meal in front of my daughter with celiac. We flagged down our waiter to check before she started. Good thing. It was someone else's gluten containing meal. He saw right away from the type of plate.
Great GF menu selection and deserts too! Server was knowledge about celiac disease and cross contamination. Food is prepared in a designed area and serving plates are clearly marked. My daughter 100% approves.
