So we eat here for last ten years. No issues. Went Monday night for my bday. We were a party of 7. So sodas flat ugh. My friends has a seafood allergy. Served shrimp in the wonton soup after we told them no shrimp. My sons dinner not cooked. Now to me. I have celiac and I ordered gf Mongolian beef. They chefs were getting yelled out by manager due to talking on the phone while cooking. I ate dinner and within a hour omg. I was so sick. I called corporate offices. They called me back and went to restaurant to retrain them how to be aware of allergies. What a terrible way to spend guy bday. I will not be going back.
Separate GF menu and staff was knowledgeable and very attentive. Food comes out on a designated GF dish to avoid any confusion.
Most place ever! Couldn't even eat my food because it was so bland. Never going back
The gluten free options are ..... not so equal to the gluten version. I've ordered several different GF dishes and none (except for the lettuce wraps) matched up to the gluten version (according to my fellow diners). The GF versions are WAY too salty and have a very odd flavor. Literally it was so salty, it burned my throat and was unpleasant to eat. Also the quality of the dishes varied with each visit. Sometimes the egg drop soup was amazing, sometimes it was disgusting. Sometimes the dishes were palatable, but most of the time they were awful. The garlic spinach, was literally just spinach... They don't add the sauce because it contains wheat. They should take it off the GF menu. It's an insult to advertise it with the sauce and then be told you can't have it. Being GF is already limiting, but then not having an honest representation of GF options- it's a cruel tease. I was horribly disappointed when I received a massively plate of soggy plain spinach. Definitely not even close to actual Chinese food. The chocolate dome is amazing. The lettuce wraps are almost always amazing.
If you know what actual Chinese food tastes like, don't even bother coming here. The food is filled with chemicals, total preprocessed crap. The tea was fantastic.
it's so difficult to find gluten free Chinese food but these guys have a dedicated section of their menu. i do not think their food is anything spectacular. they used to have a mango spice chicken dish with caramel that was fantastic but the menu has been changed. i had the gf ginger chicken and broccoli and it was just a bland taste. the chicken wrap appetiser is popular and it's very good. at times their staff isn't sure what is or isn't gluten free so double check before eating.
Be careful here with ordering out. I have had two incidences where they confused a GF dish with a regular one in our take out order.
As soon as i said i was gf they brought me my own soy sauce and had some nice gf choices on the menu. My egg drop soup and noodle dish was delicious - they use separate plates for gf and seem to be very knowledgeable about cross contamination. My only complaint is that the portion sizes are small for the price they charge.
best GF chinese food ever had... hope they open a location in suffolk county too!
gluten free food is better than the regular food. my husband isn't gf and he loves it. just wish they had egg rolls or spring rolls gf.
I know P.F. Changs has a so-so reputation in the GF community, but I have never had an issue with this one. They always take care with my order and bring it on a specially-marked plate - and the food is delicious (I love the pad Thai!)
Good food, staff was knowledgeable. Didn’t get sick.
I’ve been here about 5 times. 3 out of 5 times I have gotten sick. The 2 times I didn’t get sick were when I got a salad. Anything in their wok or that involves soy sauce have gotten me sick.
Overall it was great quick food. Didn't have a reaction.
I give them one star only because I have to, I ate there a little over a month ago, I told the waitress I was celiac and ordered off the gluten free menu. I got the fried rice with my meal and did not notice it was not in a gluten free dish, I got very sick, later I called the manager to let him know what happened. He seem very nice and assured me he would get with his staff and he offered to send me a gift card so I would his place another chance. I gave him my address and have yet to receive a thing
Awesome service. Great meal from GF menu but still was sick.
This has got to be the best P.F. Changs location in the inventory. My wife and I ate here last week and had incredible service and delicious food that was safe for me to eat. I highly recommend getting the Ring Of Fire sauce if you like spicy food. Our server recommended it for me and had them make some that was gluten free.
GF menu. Great service. Great food. No complaints.
I ordered the GF chicken lettuce dish, and my coworkers ordered the regular one. I could clearly see that my dish was prepared differently, it looked different and was on a different type of plate. They assured me they told the chef and that it was prepared in a dedicated wok. I felt good eating it, but it wasn’t as good as the regular was pre-celiac. Servers were very nice and understanding of my concerns.
Had a great meal! Gluten free menu, waiter was knowledgeable, The Mongolian beef and lettuce wraps, were delicious, didn't get sick the next day.
It's greasy Chinese food. But it's tasty. The staff assured me that all the gluten free food is prepared at a separate station, and the have a gf menu. When I tried to order the agave margarita, I was told it wasn't safe for me, and the waiter suggested Tito's with lime instead. I was a little surprised that the margarita wasn't safe but impressed that the staff had been trained to consider that.
I tried out the GF menu at the new P.F. Chang’s with excitement because I’ve heard how vigilant they were in controlling for cross contamination. They have a dedicated kitchen area, their own pans, plates, etc. I liked the range of options on the GF menu, too. My waiter was very enthusiastic and helpful, and he strongly recommended the Hokkien Street Noodles! I was very excited to try it, and it sounded and looked like something I shouldn’t be able to eat since being diagnosed celiac. I nima tested my meal just to be cautious, as is my protocol anytime eating out, and gluten was found. :( Total bummer. They were willing to switch it out for another menu item. I picked the lettuce wraps, and they came back gluten free and safe. But I did get the sense of frustration by the restaurant manager and another staff member. They explained that they followed all the protocols and were confused on how it would register gluten. It made me feel a little on guard, but I just tried to stay focused on my health and not let that intimidate me.
The take out is very well done and I have never had a reaction from them. However, the first time I dined in i felt the effects. They have different plates and i got things I normally order for take out,but this time it didn’t go well. I had a reaction within 5 minutes.
GF menu. Service was great and our server was super helpful. We had a great meal!
They have a gf menu and dedicated wok but my server was clueless. They brought out the non GF version of the chicken with broccoli and luckily I caught that it was not on a special plate as it was supposed to be. They made the GF version quickly but I'd be skeptical when you eat here.
I have been here a dozen times and never gotten sick. Separate plates indicate allergy, manager usually, but not always, brings them out. The only downside is that they seem to have taken the chocolate dime off the menu leaving no GF dessert choices. Ice cream is an option but I avoid ice cream when eating out because I can’t usually read the ingredient list for that item and barley malt is a sneaky one in ice cream sometimes.
The waiter was very knowledgeable about the gluten free menu! My boyfriend has a severe allergy and he never gets sick from here, always a favorite when we come Vegas!
I have to eat GF and my wife were at the PF Chang's on 11-16-18 and was informed that the Chocolate Dome, that we've ordered many times before, is no longer on the GF menu and was delared not GF anymore. We were also informed that they DO NOT have ANYTHING on their menu that is GF for dessert. However, for dessert, our server brought my wife a spring roll with Coconut ice cream and strawberries. Excuse me, but wouldn't Coconut ice cream and strawberries be GF?? Furthermore when our server brought our check, it said that we had Jack Daniels and Sangria for drinks and we NEVER drink that ever. This was a very disappointing dinner experience for us.
