Gluten Free menu. Server was knowledgeable and attentive. Server said that they have a dedicated GF wok and preparation area. My Spicy Chicken Bowl entree was served hot, crispy, and cooked perfectly. Fantastic to be able to enjoy Asian cuisine prepared without modifications and Celiac safe.
A favorite restaurant of mine! I always have a wonderful experience. The lettuce wraps are delicious and the flourless chocolate cake... I could easily eat 4 of them!! So good! Can't forget the gf fried rice, it's a large enough side for two people to have left overs, which we always fight over.
I went in to this establishment and asked for a gluten free menu. Pointed at what I wanted on the gluten free menu when ordering. About 20 minutes later. When I got my food, It had no sticker on it. I had looked at this site before ordering. I asked another hostess if the meal was gluten free ... Three managers looked at the dish and told the hostess they couldn't tell her if it was or wasn't. Not sure how they don't know how they sell or package the menu items they offer. When it was finally determined it was not gluten free, I waited another 10 minutes for my meal. The food was awesome, but the experience was just uncomfortable.
I have eaten at other locations of this chain in the past and have never been sick, however, the staff at this location did not seem overly concerned about the gluten free protocol. I was very sick after eating here.
This place is celiac friendly :)
P.F Chang’s is always reliable for a safe meal! A great sized menu with tons of options, yummy food and knowledgeable staff!!
Have to say this is the best of Chang's I've ever been to waiter was friendly and told me they really care about gluten allergies they clean everything and make everything separate had the best experience and did not have any issues.
Gluten free menu upon request. I got the gf lettuce wraps and the Mongolian beef. Sooo good
I'm very sensitive to cross contamination. Everyone here was very helpful and knowledgeable. They knew exactly how to take care of me. My server, Eddie, had another server bring out everyone else's food so that he could bring mine seperately. He also washed his hands before boxing my food, and brought me a straw that hadn't touched the table. And I didn't get sick! I would recommend this to others with Celiac.
Amazing food and service. Small dedicated gluten free menu, but several delicious things to choose from. Staff were very attentive and aware of allergens - from the front of house person, the waiter and the person who brought out the food. Also great drinks and views of the strip.
Very knowledgeable and labeled GF. They even have gluten free soy sauce.
Always have a safe and comfortable time here. Staff is aware and kitchen is great with entirely separate prep areas/dishes.
I've had great experiences here but the last time I went I was told they were behind on dishes but they insisted the soy sauce they brought be was gluten free even though it wasnt in a gluten free colored container.
Perfect? Nope. But pretty darn good, and better than most. Wish they had a bit more choices, but they sound like they're careful about things when they hear it's needed. And it's tasty! Just a bit expensive and corporate feeling (loud upbeat music drowns lots of stuff out). At least you know what you're getting if you walk in.
They are extremely careful & even have a dedicated area in the kitchen.
I loved PFChangs and it is one of the only gf go-to safe places for Asian food and I have eaten at my locations and liked it Today for the first time (and only time) I had lunch at the one in chandler az - it was terrible - no flavor and shrimp was close to raw - I ordered extra for left overs but threw them away - it was that bad. I don’t think they put any effort at all in gf food. My non gf food diners food was ok - the gf food was truly terrible Ps I have only posted two or three negative posts ever so I am not a constant complainer
Good Chang’s spicy chicken, lettuce wraps and fried rice
Gluten free Asian food. Gluten free menu
This used to be my favorite place. The servers were so knowledgeable, it was one of the only places I felt safe eating. Today there was an egg noodle in my GF Chang’s spicy chicken, and they didn’t seem to understand just how severe that was. They remade the dish but I really didn’t want to eat anymore. I won’t be coming back for a while.
Last night I was glutenized here, the worst I have ever experienced. Within 30 minutes of eating I began vomiting, and it confused until 3 am. So miserable in a hotel! The order went in as GF (per receipt) but the kitchen must have given me full on gluten! I ordered curbside takeout.
Great choice for safe Gluten Free Asian food. GF menu; servers are well trained; safe kitchen procedures; GF food is delivered to your table on a unique plate. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. Mixed drinks are well prepared (specially priced drinks vary by day and are a great value). Excellent and safe dining experience.
I'm so thankful for restaurants that can cater to allergies! PF Chang's did a wonderful job with this meal. They have a specific GF menu-- so just ask for it when you walk in. I got the Chang's Spicy Chicken (it says it's spicy, which it has a hint of spice, but from someone who doesn't do spicy well-- it wasn't a strong spice!) with fried rice. They also have GF soy sauce, so just ask! The chicken was great. I was so happy to be eating Chinese and then realizing it was breaded chicken-- even better!! The rice was a miss for me. I wasn't too big of a fan, so next time I will not pay the extra $4 for fried rice-- just give me white rice. The kitchen is very aware of how to handle an allergy. They use a specific wok for all GF meals and different plates for serving. They even brought my meal out on a separate tray than the rest of my family. Even the soy sauce was poured into a different container than the ones they would bring non GF sauces in. Eating Chinese and NOT feeling a SINGLE thing afterwards besides happy and full made for a happy customer! I would definitely recommend eating here especially if you have to live a GF lifestyle.
I ordered soup and ginger chicken off the gluten free menu. When my chicken came and I asked for gf soy sauce the waiter paused and said he forgot to specify gf chicken. He left the rice on the table so I assumed it was fine. After 20 minutes, my dinner finally comes. The next day I’m super sick. I looked at their allergy menu and I don’t think the soup or the rice were gluten free. Also they charged me for my full meal which I think is ridiculous considering I had to sit there while everyone else ate. I remember a few years ago they were very careful with gluten free food but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. I’m definitely never going back here.
We love that we can place an order when we land and it's ready to go when we arrive to pick it up. TAKE OUT # 813-947-7268 Their menu is limited, but they still have several GF options. Note that they don't take gift cards at this location. it's located in the main entry area of the airport between all of the terminals.
They gave me regular beef with broccoli after I ordered gluten free chicken with broccoli. I don’t eat beef and I have celiac so both were a no no. The replacement they sent was cold and hard and caused TMJ pain. The broccoli was raw.... don’t go here. They changed the GF menu. The one before had more options and tasted better. They used to have a berry shortcake for dessert but no longer. I was told they were bought out by restaurant group that changed their menu and apparently quality.
Great food. Server was very knowledgable and pretty decent selection of items. Had egg drop soup (order a large, so good!) and the spicy chicken with white rice. Spicy chicken was just the right amount of heat! No issues
I have been here twice. Both time were delicious! Did not get sick
Horrendous for people with allergies and intolerances. I ordered the Gluten Free chicken ginger with GF egg drop soup and got skin rashes. I couldn't believe it. Then I went to the website and checked their allergen menu and discovered they openly reveal that nearly ALL of their gluten free dishes contain multiple allergens such as soy, shellfish, etc. The only thing remotely safe was the brown rice. Would never recommend for celiacs.
I got takeout from the gluten free menu three times. I got sick the first two times but thought it was just my body doing its thing. The third time I got takeout I had to call an ambulance to check my vitals because I got so sick. I then decided to ask other gf people I know if they have ever had food off the gluten free menu here. EVERY person who had been to PF Changs had also experienced allergic reactions to the food that is supposedly gluten free. Someone also told me they had to request gluten free soy to be used in the dish because they will not use it unless otherwise told. Eating here has caused my worst allergic reactions to date and I will not go again.
This was my tried and true restaurant until my birthday lunch. First, they had no free dessert for my birthday because they have no GF dessert. Then I got deathly ill. The doctor squeezed me in the next morning and ran a gluten antibody test which was positive. It took days to recover and many other tests. I wrote management and never heard a word back. I'm done with the special GF plate fake out.
