Picazzo's is a celiac's dream restaurant! Best ravioli in the US--great pasta texture and filling and just the right amount of flavorful sauce. Toasted bread with the pasta was a nice touch. Caesar and house salads really tasty with the exact right amount of dressing. Lots of dining options. Do tell the server what order you want salads/entrees in - ours came all at once- and the service was "meh" so that's why the 4 stars.
Great pizza and focaccia. My son with celiac was in heaven.
Used to be one of my favorite restaurants. The Pasta Bianca was amazing. Then they got ride of the spinach fettuccine. Ok I was bummed but the I got used plain fettuccine. Then they only offered the supper thick spaghetti or penne. Basically now they are no better then any other place that only has one or two pasta options and quite a bit more expensive at $14-17 a plate. I'll keep asking, maybe they will bring some of the other stuff back. 😩
We were visiting Phoenix and heard about Picazzo. Their menu is mainly GF, dedicated GF pizza oven. Everything we ordered was delicious and safely prepared since there is very little gluten in the kitchen. Great kids menu too. Where else can you get cheesy bread as an app and Gf cheese raviolis?!!
Best GF pizza I've had in the 4+ years since being diagnosed with Celiac. Loved it!
Great place! My first decent bread since being diagnosed with Celiac. So happy!
We are visiting Phoenix on vacation. We brought our gf family of 4 and could not have been happier! An extensive fully gf menu wow! Our orders were as follows. Pesto ravioli, thai peanut pasta, children's ravioli, and BBQ pizza as well as appetizer of Baked brie and half order of gf focaccia. Amazing! Go you won't be sorry!
Best GF Italian I have ever had - outside of my wife's :-). The cheese bread and pasta was awesome. The spice on the Spicy Uncle Louie was perfect. Will definitely be coming back next trip to Phoenix
This place was outstanding! Almost the entire menu could be made gluten free and the staff was very knowledgeable. I had a delicious sweet potato pizza. I ordered the small (yes, you could actually order a large which is never an option for gluten free pizza) and it was so filling that I even had two slices leftover. I am extremely sensitive and did not have any problems after eating here. In fact, you could tell the food was of high quality because we felt great afterwards. The restaurant was also very nice inside and the staff was very friendly and gave us excellent service. We came on a trip to Sedona, Arizona for a friend's wedding so we did not have our children with us, but it was kid friendly as well.
My wife & I went for dinner, she is celiac, but we both follow a Pescatarian Gluten Free diet. Picazzo's was what I believe heaven would be like for celiac's. Everything on the menu is gluten free, except they make regular pizzas in a separate oven. Wonderful!! We will be back, before we leave AZ.
I am very lucky I do not have gluten (celiac) problems however, my wife does. I only eat gluten free stuff since that's the only thing my wife can eat. I have a stomach of a Ox but do enjoy the gluten free menu. This place was so amazing, never eaten a pizza that was so flavorful and just felt right eating. The different ingredients we added was just crazy. Every bite, we were like, Wow! Wow! I'm definitely coming back! The staff were very nice as well and just knew how to handle Gluten Free requests! Ha
OHhhh MYyy Goshhh... where do I begin this place is above & beyond AMAZING! 1st off I'm Gluten sensitive & they accommodated with an entire menu of GF food, not to mention::: dairy free, allergy free, free of GMO's, nitrate free, antibiotic/hormone free, RbST, and SOoo much more! This food is worth every penny. It's not just safe for eating & aiding those who suffer from food allergies but it's clean/organic living-your health matters & you are what you eat, so why not eat fresh of all the BS! I created my own GF pizza & the taste/the flavors, and the next day of NOT feeling sick was the more reason for me to come BACK AGAIN! Picazzo's is best of Phoenix winner for all those reasons! ENJOY, real authentic quality food. Fine dining with your health in mind!
I used to eat here when we lived in the area 5+ years ago. So happy that it's basically the same still. Just better! Amazing food and no reaction. I love being able to eat "real" foods like pasta dishes, desserts, and more. I highly recommend any Picazzo's location!
just terrific! My GF husband was in shock from being able to order anything on the menu. We were visiting in phoenix and ate here twice. He had pizza one time and pasts with salad with gf crutons the other. the crust was pretty typical for gf. the foccacia was excellent. I could eat that kale quinoa bowl 3x a week so yummy. the only thing "wrong" is they haven't come east to Raleigh.....
Last month I visited and enjoyed an organic, gluten-free pizza at the Flagstaff location. Yesterday, I found myself in the Valley and couldn't resist giving the Tempe/Chandler kitchen a try. FANTASTICO! The entire experience was top-notch . . . from ordering to eating to chatting with staff to leaving with a happy belly. A little more topping would have been welcome, but all-in-all the pizza was delicious and filled with guilt-free ingredients. Yet, what made my experience exceptional was the service. The staff made me feel like a king. They were friendly and attentive, without being intrusive and seemed sincere when they asked, "Do you like your pie, Sir?" I had a nice chat with the waitstaff about eating organic and choosing cool toys for toddlers, then I left with a happy belly. I give Picazzo's Organic Italian Kitchen a short, but savory recommendation, and I look forward to my next trip to this location. Note: I'm a professional reviewer for other services and products, but this one is a freebie. I really enjoyed eating here and simply had to write a piccolo (I think this means little).
It was so nice going to a restaurant and being able to order almost anything on the menu. Instead of having to tell them to make things gluten free, here you have to tell them not to. It's a bit pricey but our entrees were good and the brownie was delicious.
absolutely love them Always by the groupons when they're available because it saves quite a bit of money as they are on the middle to high range in price but that is because they are entirely gluten free and make almost everything you could want so to pay their bills must be I can't even imagine honestly but they are fantastic they are part of the delivery system as well third party delivery system and they include everything from Pizza to pasta freshly made 2 bread to even Asian dishes like a pad thai or a burger or a salad and it's all gluten free and some of that is even dairy-free or vegan or vegetarian friendly they are incredibly customizable and Catering two allergy needs
In AZ for a wedding. Stopped here and was amazed at gf offering. Pizza and bread were delicious. Looking at trying to go back for raviolis. This restaurant is in several towns which makes it easy to see the sights and not worry about where to eat.
This place is one of my favorites. I wish they would open one in Las Vegas so my wife and I could go every week or so. Fettuccine and Turkey Meatballs were great. I can't remember the last time I had spaghetti and meatballs since going gluten free about 10 years now. We're going back tonight so we can try ravioli and Tiramisu for dessert!
I first tried this place in Sedona and finally tried another location. Delicious, friendly servers, mostly glutenfree menu. Tons of vegan options. No vegan tax for subbing vegan chicken (Beyond Meat) for flesh chicken. I'm disappointed in the poor accessibility of the location. The handicap parking (a whopping 2 spaces) is halfway down the strip mall, and the sidewalk up to the front door is very steep. The inside is crowded with tables and chairs (some of which are tall tables/chairs).
Amazing! Almost everything is GF and they have GF beer!
Very good pizza, fresh salads and probably great desserts. We were too full to try one. It is so wonderful to walk into a restaurant when traveling and know it will not make you sick. Our server, Mitchell, was excellent. Could not have had a better experience.
Food is excellent. It is very celiac friendly considering that the only non-gluten free items are their non-gluten free pizzas. They keep very dedicated and are knowledgable about everyone's needs. Has a nice atmosphere and is overall a great place to eat.
As a celiac, you really start to miss the good pasta dishes. I haven't felt satisfied with restaurant GF pasta dishes in the years I've been eating GF. This place made my pasta dreams come true! We got 3 pasta dishes and shared them. There was no talking at our table just moaning. The pesto ravioli, chicken piccata, and carbonara ravioli were amazing! We were all fighting the urge to lick our plates clean! Thank you, Picazzo's, for not making me a sad celiac at dinner tonight! :)
