I am sorry to write a poor review for a family place, but this was the worst pizza I've ever had (I'm a senior) and the other reviews are misleading. I got it at the Scottsdale venue.
The "crust" tasted like white bread, and there was about a tablespoon of sauce and a sprinkling of cheese. My family thought I was exaggerating, so my husband tasted it and said, "The person who made this has never tasted a pizza."
It's the first pizza I ever threw out.
This place is amazing! It was the first time I had cheese bread in almost a decade and it did not disappoint! We live in CO, but come to AZ for hockey tournaments and we always make sure we eat here a few times while we’re in town. I’ve never gotten sick and the food is so good. Highly recommend!
So many choices! 99.9% of their menu is gluten free and they have a vegan menu as well. My husband, who isn’t gluten sensitive, said that he could eat there all the time. Our only complaint is the food wasn’t spiced enough for our taste but with a little extra salt, it was delicious!! It is a healthy kitchen, says it in the name, so I think that’s why they stay away from too much salt. I would definitely go back when we come back to Arizona.
My go-to restaurant and date place. I’ve eaten at a few other locations too. I’ve ordered gluten free pizza with no issues as well as many other dishes. Great place for vegan dishes as well and they’ve accommodated my GERD diet as well with substitutions. There’s even dessert!!
Everything is gluten free except the regular pizza crust but there is gluten free crust as well.
Only complaint is it can take a while for food to arrive. This applies for all locations I’ve been to. Always worth it for me though.
What a gem!!! Always excellentfood, service and environment. GF friends, this place is da bomb!!
This place is awesome! Lovely staff, great food, and seemingly endless options. We had several dishes, and all of them were wonderful. The pasta tastes and feels perfect, the pizza crust is light and not reminiscent of cardboard at all, the croutons are crunchy and flavorful, and the desserts are phenomenal. They have gf breaded chicken, which is definitely a first for me, but I have no bad reviews of it. Virtually everything is either already gf or can be made so. I think the only gluten may be in one option for the pizza, but it’s fully separated and everything is marked. I’m really not sure if there are any other gluten items on the menu. Five stars!
I’m obsessed with this place. Almost everything on the menu is celiac safe and they are accommodating to dairy free/vegans! Pizza crust is pretty good, but the best is that it’s in a dedicated space. Love going to a restaurant where you don’t have to worry constantly about being sick.
Tried this place out after seeing all the great reviews. They have a great set up, and the whole menu is pretty much gluten free, so getting sick from gluten was such a low risk! We got the spinach artichoke dip which was decent, a BBQ pizza which was good, And we also got pasta. The pasta they gave us first was really really good but missing ingredients from what we ordered so they took it and brought back what was actually what we were supposed to get but it wasn’t very good compared to the first pasta dish.
However this whole experience was dwindled by the poor service we got. We had to ask for our waiter multiple times because he never checked on us once on his own - not even to take our order or give us the check. Had to get other waiters to help us the whole time.
My husband and I stopped on for lunch for the first time. The food was delicious. I have not been to a restaurant where the entire menu is gluten free apart from one option (a gluten pizza crust cooked in a separate oven). They also have a full vegan menu for individuals looking for those options.
I have been eating at picazzos for as long as I can remember. They entire menu can be done gluten free and they also have a very large vegan menu with options for dairy and egg free as well. My favorite place to eat out. The food is always delicious. (The apple dessert is a must try)
We had dinner here last night and it was incredible! The outdoor patio was beautiful and toasty. My gluten eating friends said you couldn’t even tell the food was gluten free, which is the goal! Will definitely go back. There was only one non gluten free item on the menu and was prepared in its own area of the kitchen and its own oven. 10 out of 10!
This place was an amazing find! LITERALLY EVERYTHING IS GLUTEN FREE - dedicated kitchen. They have a small tiny section of kitchen dedicated to regular gluten pizza. The whole idea of this restaurant is awesome. I love their cheese bread and the spinach artichoke the ravioli and the pizza.
This place was amazing! The entire menu is gluten free (they also have regular pizza crust for non-gf people). Very allergy friendly. We had df/gf cheesebread for appetizers, BBQ chicken pizza, and apple crisp with vanilla bean coconut ice cream. The food and service was so good we came back again 2 nights later! Highly recommend it!
Loved being able to order anything on the menu because everything was gluten-free or had both gluten and gluten free versions.
I’m the only one in my group that is gluten intolerant but everyone enjoyed their meals and everything tasted great!
The service was also super fast! We were told it would be a 25 minute wait for a table but it only ended up being maybe 10 minutes and even our food came out surprisingly fast!
We’re new in town, decided to try Picazzo’s and we’re so happy we did. We ordered delivery, it came perfectly packed and still hot. I had the chicken parm, something I could never order out before. Delicious! Even my non-gf husband loved it! He had the chipotle pasta. The best gluten free pasta ever! Can’t say enough good things. We’ll definitely be going back, consider us regulars!
DELICIOUS! We ordered the cheesebread, chicken parmesan, Pesto ravioli, Bianca, and mac and cheese! To be able to say that all of those options are gf is amazing in itself. Everything was really good and after eating we were ready to come back the next day! My sister and I both have Celiac and neither of us had any issues 🥰
This place SO exceeded my expectations. I had a spicy vegan curry and my son had a regular meat filled pizza with barbecue sauce and it was all fantastic! Top that off with actual gluten-free tiramisu! Portions are very generous. I will be back every time I’m in the area.
This is my go to place for gf. Best gf free food I have ever had and it’s Italian which is my favorite. U can also pick which type of noodle(just ask) or even sun ravioli for any dish too. The lasagna is to die for and def get the gf cookie and ice cream you won’t regret it.
The only thing in the whole place that has gluten is one pizza crust and it has a separate place for prep and cook so no contamination happens. I have been to this place and ton and never have a reaction. They will ask about other allergies too. Great place and great people
Wow! Wood fired gluten free pizza with a dedicated oven for gf! They have 2 options for gf crusts which they make themselves. I chose the regular gluten free crust over the gf cauliflower crust. I’m assuming the one I had was made from rice. It was GOOD however not the best gf pizza crust I’ve ever had. If I were to eat there again I would definitely try the cauliflower crust. They also offer regular (gluten) crusts which are prepped and cooked separately from the gf pizzas. My husband thought it was great and he is partial lol at about pizza!
