So I was surprised to find out that they only had a couple things on the menu that weren't gluten free. I was so happy to be able to eat gluten and dairy free pizza here! What a treat! I also got GF vegan cheese bread. My sister is vegan and they had lots of options for her too.

best meal of my life. we had cheesy bread which was the first gluten free bread i’ve had and it was really good! it has a sort of corn bread and regular bread mixed texture. I also had lasagna and my non gluten free boyfriend had chicken parm and he also said it was one of his favorite meals ever! the whole place is gluten free besides one pizza crust that they make in a different oven. they asked if i had any allergies or celiac. so nice to go to a place where i can chose anything on the menu and feel safe eating!

Everything gf. 5 stars just for feeling safe! The cannoloni with spinach was lovely. My husband was able to sub vegan cheese on his chicken parmesan. We had an app of vegan cheese bread. So nice to be able to have a "fun" appetizer. In general, the flavors of our food did not "pop'", but I would not go so far as to say bland. I would definitely go back and continue to explore the menu. They did offer regular pizza crust, which my daughter got for her margarita pizza and enjoyed.

We were in town visiting family and ate here. I’ve got 4 young kiddos and I have celiac. This place was AMAZING! We were all able to enjoy the amazing food and I did not have to worry one bit about getting gluten in my food. My husband has a really good curry dish and I had a phenomenal Alfredo pasta dish. What a treat to splurge on carbs. Well worth the visit.

Amazing! Staff extremely knowledgeable and go out of their way to explain the main and dedicated prep area. The first thing they ask you is if you have any allergies they should be aware of. Food is amazing, I have been several times and will definitely go back often. Oh and the cauliflower pizza crust is incredible.

Omg! This place is amazing for those with gluten free allergies and other allergies. The first thing we were asked was if there were any allergies at the table tonight. After telling the waiter that I had celiac, he proudly shared that I was in luck because everything was gluten free— score! My son and I split the lasagna. It was fantastic! My non-GF (picky eater) husband had chicken wings tossed in bbq maple. He really enjoyed those. We also ordered some baked cheese, which was super tasty! Whether you have allergies or not, I don’t think anyone will leave disappointed in this place. They use high quality ingredients and make from scratch food. We will visit Picazzo’s the next time we are in Phoenix!

We ate here twice during our 5 day trip to Phoenix. Such a great find!! Our only disappointment was they ran out of ravioli both times. Non-Celiac husband says the lasagna is the best he’s ever had! Everything we tried was really good. Be sure to save room for dessert. Tiramisu is absolutely phenomenal. So nice to find a go-to restaurant that’s delicious and safe!

It is so wonderful to eat in a dedicated GF restaurant. I haven't experienced that degree of heaven before now. Add in the fact that the food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, and you have my Number One reason to move to Phoenix. The Foccacia bread is insanely delicious. I could come here and just have the half loaf order plus a glass of white wine at their very nicely priced Happy Hour and be superbly happy. But one must eat a balanced meal- and there's nothing on this terrific menu that would harm a Gf gal. I must be GF and dairy free, and I had lots of delicious choices. So happy.

We ordered the focaccia, I would not call it for focaccia, but just sliced bread it had no herbs and not flat like focaccia. I would come back though.

The folks that don’t need to eat GF are just as satisfied(they can’t tell). We travel all over the country and this is by far our favorite place for GF variety and taste!! Last month I visited and enjoyed an organic, gluten-free pizza at the Flagstaff location. Yesterday, I found myself in the Valley and couldn't resist giving the Tempe/Chandler kitchen a try. FANTASTICO! The entire experience was top-notch . . . from ordering to eating to chatting with staff to leaving with a happy belly. A little more topping would have been welcome, but all-in-all the pizza was delicious and filled with guilt-free ingredients. Yet, what made my experience exceptional was the service. The staff made me feel like a king. They were friendly and attentive, without being intrusive and seemed sincere when they asked, "Do you like your pie, Sir?" I had a nice chat with the waitstaff about eating organic and choosing cool toys for toddlers, then I left with a happy belly. I give Picazzo's Organic Italian Kitchen a short, but savory recommendation, and I look forward to my next trip to this location. Note: I'm a professional reviewer for other services and products, but this one is a freebie. I really enjoyed eating here and simply had to write a piccolo (I think this means little).

So many options. I can only wish that we had something like this close to home! Having several GF desserts to choose from was great—the apple crisp was definitely a highlight. Did the meatball appetizer and the fresh basil made the dish. We split the vortex pizza and I loved the toppings; the crust was a little crumbly however. Only wish we were here longer to try again!

So many things for my son to choose from, he was so happy. Everything was delicious too. One note--while almost everything on the menu is gluten free (they do have some beer) the one food item they have that is NOT gluten free is regular pizza crust--and for some reason they kind of assumed when we were talking about what we wanted to order they thought we wanted to order the wheat pizza! That would have been a disaster, so make sure you specify the gluten free pizza crust (and they have two, one is cauliflower). Wouldn't have known we needed to say that at a 'gluten free' restaurant.

He had buffalo baked wings, cheese bread, traditional side salad, apple & walnut Gorgonzola salad, chicken bacon & herbs pizza on gf crust (separate gf pizza oven), linguini and meatballs, Tuscan chicken breast, and hot apple crisp with vanilla gelato & coconut ice cream. So so good! Worthwhile! We were late arriving one evening due to a long hike so ordered takeout... good call because there was a long line there that night.

This review is long overdue, and I'm almost ashamed I didn't get to it until now. But I'm writing it right before we plan to go back, it was so memorable. We visited the Cactus Rd location a couple of months ago and had a fantastic time! Our server, Kale, was one of the best servers we've had at ANY restaurant. And that's saying a lot - we're middle aged and we eat out a LOT. So we've got a lot of experience and not always that easy to please. But we were certainly pleased with Picazzo's, not just because of the remarkably great service from Kale (more on that later) but also because of the food quality, particularly for gluten-free. I know, I know, when you eat gluten-free or gluten-friendly, you're always qualifying your opinion with "this was really good for a gluten-free version of X." But at Picazzo's the food really IS that good, and you don't need the qualifier. My wife has the gluten allergy, I don't, and I had no complaints whatsoever. I specifically remember the cheese focaccia was really good. Didn't fall apart, didn't crumble, really tasted great. And the turkey meatballs were also excellent. We didn't even try the pizza, but it looked great. I had the eggplant Parmesan and it was excellent. I mean, there are a TON of gf options at this place, and everything we did have was great. Since we're planning another visit to Phoenix, no way we're missing Picazzo's again. It was THAT good. A significant part of our positive experience was the service delivered by Kale. He has a great personality, very friendly and approachable. He did all the mechanical things skillfully - acknowledged us quickly, got our drinks (and by the way he's a great bartender because I had one of the mixed drinks, the Prickly Pear Margarita), timed our meal perfectly by giving us enough time to enjoy the appetizers before ordering the main dish, checked on us to see how we were doing - but more than just the mechanics of serving, he brought an art to it. I'm serious, there is just something about this guy, Kale, that brings serving to another level. It was easy and pleasant to engage with him. He had great menu knowledge, and made good recommendations. He seemed to enjoy what he's doing, and it shows in the quality of service he delivers. Picazzo's has a winning formula, that's all I know. This is a restaurant where you can not only enjoy great food, excellent service, and even have lots of great gluten-free options. How could you not like it?

This place is extremely knowledgeable about celiac and contamination. It’s literally the only restaurant I feel safe eating at in the Phoenix area. Unfortunately, they’ve made some changes in the last few months, and it’s not as great as it used to be. They did away with the large GF pizza, which was part of what made me feel “normal” eating here. Now they only have small pizzas, the crust is doughier than it used to be, and it’s very expensive. The appetizers are smaller too (4 meatballs? For $11?)... it’s like portions shrank and price tags inflated. I don’t like that they’re catering to fad dieters more than they used to (the new menus clearly marked everything “keto friendly” but I had to request a special vegan menu to more clearly understand what’s dairy and egg free?), but I’ve NEVER been glutened here, so that’s good at least.

Reliably good food and consistently gluten-free. Service a bit slow, and I was stunned to over hear that this “GF restaurant” only has one GF oven. I guess the demand for their traditional pizza has trumped their GF pizzas resulting in super slow service for GF oven items. Seems like they need to add an oven. Anyway, good food, so plan for a long wait for your order. It’ll be worth it! The garlic cheese focaccia is AMAZING.
