If you have celiac this place is a major no no. There is flour EVERYWHERE and even the manager told me he would be surprised if there wasn't cross contamination. I've rolled the dice twice on the gluten free pizza and got incredibly sick both times.
No
The best GFree Crust I've had so far. No adverse reaction. You have to be G Free trained to work there. That is what a Pitfire Pizza staff member told me. I will def. go back. EDIT: I went back because it was so good, only this time I got extremely Ill. The food was definitely contaminated with gluten! Never again!
Delicious pizza and salads!
Yes
The most delicious GF pizza I’ve had so far along with vegan ceasar salad and white bean soup (both requested without breadcrumbs). They also have GF tahini brownie from an LA bakery which is also very good (and not too sweet, felt like a healthy dessert). Many of their veggie sides are gluten free as well with breadcrumb removal. I’ve never gotten sick here, the staff is knowledgeable and this place is just awesome.

So I have celiac disease and I ordered recently through Uber eats. It said that they have GF pizza and it has had good reviews so I checked off it was an allergy and placed my order. The pizza itself was delicious — unfortunately I didn’t realize until partway eating that someone had written on the box in sharpie that they cross contaminate no matter what. So instead of cancelling and not taking the order, they charged me and wrote a note on the box??

Very nice people who warned me that their crust was gluten free but that their toppings might not be. I should have heeded their advice since I was poisoned.

I’ve come in here twice after hearing all the amazing reviews and twice I haven’t felt safe enough to stay and order. I asked the guy at the front about gluten free options and he told me they have gluten free crust. I asked if the toppings are gluten free and his answer was “Yeah, I think so. They should be.” Not super convincing. I asked him to ask his manager or kitchen staff for a list of safe toppings and could never get a straight answer from anyone. I really wanted to try this place but the staff just doesn’t seem to have an understanding of what gluten even is or what it can be found in.
