They do list gluten free corn tortillas under fajitas, but that’s about it. Our waitress didn’t speak enough English to know what I was asking when I asked about another menu item being gluten free. Another waiter tried to answer my question, but I wasn’t very confident in his response either. I’m new to gf and not very confident when things aren’t well marked. I just got chicken fajitas and didn’t eat any of the sides.

Large restaurant, friendly staff. Lots of options. I did not get sick and neither did my gf/df husband. Chips were fine. They have vegan cheese, too. They did serve us flour tortillas but they come wrapped separately and the server realized the error before we had a chance to flag someone down. This is a chain and we also did well at the one in OBX, NC.

Absolute favorite! Easiest place to eat gluten free. Clearly marked on menu. Any questions the staff very knowledgable. Not understanding the chip comment I have wheat allergy and its VERY sensitive and they've never bothered me. I'd go here every time
All GF items are labeled on the menu. Staff is knowledgeable. Not sure why someone stated that the chips are not GF. I am highly sensitive and have never had any issues with the chips.
Yes
Very disappointed that menu items are marked gluten free, then chips and shells are fried in the same fryer as flour tortillas. This is not gluten free! Also offered to substitute corn tortillas and cheese for chips and salsa when we arrived, then charged us for both!
No
Beware of chips. They are fried in same fryer as gluten food items. Other than that the food is delish.
I visited the one in Robinson. Gluten-free items listed on the menu. Got enchilada suits- so delicious. No problems. Even the chips and salsa were gluten free. Def going back!! Waitress was knowledgeable.
Yes
Gluten free is marked on menu. I appreciate when restaurants do this. Chips gluten free.
Yes
Chips in gluten free fryer!!! Confirmed with two servers and then the manager, twice, because the other Plaza Azteca locations do not have multiple fryers with clean oil. Also sautéed shrimp in clean pan and made a corn tortilla quesadilla. Confirmed corn tortilla when bringing food out before we could even ask.

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience at Plaza Azteca. After reading several good reviews, we were excited to try it. After talking with the hostess and our server to confirm that they could accommodate a Celiac allergy, we ordered our food. When someone other than our server brought the food with the other food, we triple checked with him and weren't confident in his response so we checked back with the server before my son started to eat his food. He confirmed it was prepared completely gluten free. Then, around 5 minutes later, after my son had already started eating, he returned to say that the cook suggested he not eat the fries because they weren't sure. Without sharing the details, it was a traumatic experience for my poor kiddo. I am very disappointed in how this was handled. We couldn't really enjoy our meal so it is hard to comment on the taste/quality.

The tacos were excellent and the food was incredibly fast. I don’t think it’s called Azteca anymore - Plaza Mexicana is the name

Delicious steak tacos; beans & rice too. No issues. Highly recommend.

Nothing here is gluten free. The staff is clueless about allergies.
Be very careful with any Mexican restaurant, but especially this one. Many of them will marinate their chicken and beef in soy sauce or other gluten containing marinades. This place marinates their meet and contaminates it.
If you have celiac, avoid this place.
