Things are marked gluten free on the menu, but it is all prepared in the same space. Gluten free but not celiac safe.

If I could do a 0 star I would. I explained to my waiter Misael that I had a gluten allergy. He said ok your meal is gluten free but then after explaining to me the chips were fried in the same fryer with wheat items my meal came out garnished with chips. I asked for it to be fixed and he did but proceeded to avoid us for the rest of dinner. I have never been treated so poorly for having an allergy.

The menu clearly marks GF items and there are ample choices. I had an enchilada plate done with corn tortillas. Some uncertainty about whether the chips they put in the table are fried in mixed company and safe. I did eat them and didn’t have a problem. Fresh guacamole at the table is great. Will go back.
Almost everything on the menu is gluten free, amazing food and I’m super picky!

Best Mexican food I've had in a really long time. Everything is clearly indicated on the menu for GF items

Menu items are marked Gluten Free but are cooked in oil with flour items. Chips were brought to the table and said to be Gluten Free, after I asked them to double check they came back and said that chips were also cooked in the same oil as flour items. Waiter did not write down the order, so I was very nervous about the order getting done right. All of this happened during an extremely quiet time with less than 20 people in the restaurant, I would not risk it during a busy night.

The food was all really salty and overpriced, and the atmosphere was gaudy and overdone. When I told the waitress I had Celiac disease, she must not have been sure what that meant because she asked if I could have butter in something. :(

Menu has items marked with GF items. Waitstaff is very educated on GF menu. We had the guacamole - awesome and shrimp corn tacos - both yummy!!! We will be back again.
Yes
Chips in gluten free fryer!!! Confirmed with two servers and then the manager, twice, because the other Plaza Azteca locations do not have multiple fryers with clean oil. Also sautéed shrimp in clean pan and made a corn tortilla quesadilla. Confirmed corn tortilla when bringing food out before we could even ask.

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience at Plaza Azteca. After reading several good reviews, we were excited to try it. After talking with the hostess and our server to confirm that they could accommodate a Celiac allergy, we ordered our food. When someone other than our server brought the food with the other food, we triple checked with him and weren't confident in his response so we checked back with the server before my son started to eat his food. He confirmed it was prepared completely gluten free. Then, around 5 minutes later, after my son had already started eating, he returned to say that the cook suggested he not eat the fries because they weren't sure. Without sharing the details, it was a traumatic experience for my poor kiddo. I am very disappointed in how this was handled. We couldn't really enjoy our meal so it is hard to comment on the taste/quality.

The tacos were excellent and the food was incredibly fast. I don’t think it’s called Azteca anymore - Plaza Mexicana is the name

Delicious steak tacos; beans & rice too. No issues. Highly recommend.

Nothing here is gluten free. The staff is clueless about allergies.
Be very careful with any Mexican restaurant, but especially this one. Many of them will marinate their chicken and beef in soy sauce or other gluten containing marinades. This place marinates their meet and contaminates it.
If you have celiac, avoid this place.
