We stopped on a trip south, after finding this location on this app. Amazing food! One of the owners has Celiac disease, so I felt extremely safe.
We had the white beans and rice, at the recommendation of the owner. They did not disappoint. The sausage was the best I've had in decades. The homemade coleslaw was the perfect bite to cool the mouth.
The jambalaya was just as tasty.
Our favorite, though, was the white beans.
Easy off and on the highway for travelers.

Stopped here on my way to Louisiana and it was amazing! They know how to avoid cross contamination and are strict about protocols. We loved it so much we got a bucket of jambalaya to go! We’ll definitely be returning.

What a find! This small restaurant packs authentic Cajun flavor into safe gluten free dishes. Not everything is gluten free but the staff is extremely knowledgeable. We were served by one of the owners and had a great experience. We will definitely be making this a stop on our trips through the area!

I am one of the owners of Pot&Paddle in Gluckstadt (Madison), MS. I have celiac so I am very involved in ensuring a safe place for other people with gluten issues. The Jambalaya and red (or white) beans& rice are always gluten free. Most of the sides are GF. Please let the person taking your order know that you require GF to ensure that the cooks will use their training about cross-contamination to get your meal safely to you (and no roll!) if you have any questions or concerns, please ask for the owner(s) or the manager on duty. I came here after seeing the other review from one of the owners. and now i can’t stop eating it!!! it is SO SO SO good and most of the menu is already gluten free, so you don’t feel like the loser having to order something bland watching everyone else eat good. They take great care of cross contamination, and even have GF slap ya mama’s seasoning labeled for you. and they trained all their staff to know what celiac is! i truly can’t say enough good things i love this place and the owners are incredible
