Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad reviews, but here I am to further confirm what previous celiac reviewers have stated. I, too, ordered the gluten-free injera and confirmed via phone that the order contained the gluten-free injera. This was provided on the side, but I do believe the food orders were lined with regular injera underneath. By the next day I was very, VERY sick. I contacted my doctor thinking I was going to need steroids to get through it. It has now been almost two weeks since I had that gluten exposure and my digestive tract is still recovering. Be careful here, if you are celiac. Maybe confirm that the gluten-free injera is used when plating your food? Personally, I don't imagine I'll be taking that risk again. I'm not confident I can have a gluten-free experience there. One star for gluten-free accessibility. Otherwise, having had this food prior to being celiac, the food is delicious (but that's a review for yelp, not FMGF)

I ordered from DoorDash so I’m sure that affected it but we were given the food on top regular injera and not the gluten free . The gluten free was put on the side, but because regular Injera had touched the food, Got horribly ill due to it and only realized after.

This place assured me 5x that their injera was gluten free.
I got the most violently sick I ever have from gluten poisoning here. I literally spent 5 hours violently heaving and eventually puking blood.
Please avoid this place for gf

They have gluten free injera that they charge extra for. You can tell it is GF by it's slight-purple tint and not being a moist as the non-GF kind. Still delicious.
We called ahead to have the gluten free injera made. When we went in, the wait staff were not able to answer our questions. The owner came over and made sure that we were taken care of.
The food flavors are good. I found it to be more oily than some of the other Ethiopian I've had.
The owner gets 5 stars for making safe food for us challenging folks. The food gets about 3.5 stars, on a scale of comparing it to other Ethiopian restaurants I've tried.
Call ahead of time for gluten free bread

Amazing food & service!
We called ahead a couple of hours and they had gluten free injera made for my daughter. Everything else we ordered was fine for her to eat - the staff knew what we needed and the owner came out to check on us. I will come here as often as possible!!
