Server acknowledged the table was gluten free, and we double confirmed everything needs to be gluten free. The kitchen made the salad with croutons and the server did not check, brining the dish to the table as if everything was okay.
Red Robin has gluten free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free fries. Please verify with your server.
Always love the burgers here so much, they make celiac or allergy orders in a separate part of the kitchen where they only make gluten free orders so there’s no worry about cross contamination.

*Update* I went here last night and they no longer have GF steak fries. It did appear when I looked through the menu the gluten free menu has gotten smaller. The service was good. Had to get steamed broccoli with my burger. Burger was great though! I have eaten here with no problems, their gluten free menu is on the redrobin app, however this red robin doesnt have free wifi. So your server has to ask permission by the manager to use a red robin ipad. Tonights server was treating me asking her questions about the steak fries like I was a idiot. food here is good not too great but you have to check and double check to make sure its gluten free.
The staff was very knowledgeable! Dedicated fryer for all their fries (sweet potato and regular) and GF buns! When the food came out it had a purple stick in it, the waiter told me that the purple stick means the entire kitchen is aware that this order was an allergy! Best GF bun I’ve had in a long time, didn’t fall apart in my hands! I was pleasantly surprised with my experience and we’ll definitely be back!
My go to! Their gluten free buns are actually pretty great! Separate fryers- bottomless fries ya’ll! Staff is knowledgeable and receptive.
At a recent visit, I noticed that their fries were no longer listed on the company app as ‘gluten free’. I asked the waitress and she assured me that they do those in a gluten free fryer. I proceeded to order a GFbun (with a burger of course) and some fries. I spent the entire night throwing up and the next day feeling like I got run over by a truck. Decided to give them one more chance and the next time went much better...no issues.
I had a good experience!! I ordered a cider and a bacon cheeseburger with gf bun. I started to ask if the fries were separate. The waiter said "I got you. I'll take care of it." And he did!! My burger arrived on a totally different type of plate with a purple allergy warning stick in it. Allergy warning was on the order tag that went to the kitchen Ave on the receipt. I honestly got teary-eyed over it because I was a but worried when my hubby wanted to eat there (He should get to choose every once in awhile!) and eating out as someone with celiac, especially while traveling, I frequently feel like a 'problem customer.' It was so nice for the waiter to just catch on, handle it and not make me feel like a whiner. And, I was not glutened! 😊 I only marked 4 because the ketchup is Heinz and not certified gf and the fries were not super hot but, overall, a very good experience!
I have celiac disease and eat at Red Robin frequently with my Granddaughter. I have never had a problem and the staff seems gluten educated which is rare. I must change my review! I got a gluten bun in the restaurant and the manager brought a new meal. Then yesterday I ordered a take out and got a gluten bun. I called to ask since it had sesame seeds which the GF bun does not have. I had no lunch! It is chancy to eat here. I could have been sick.
I loved this place a long time ago. I think they changed management years ago though and I’m not fan anymore. They offer a GF bun and have an app on a dirty tablet you can look up other allergens. The fries are gluten free. I wish they still made their sweet potato fries. Other locations are much better; Better service and food.
When I mention gluten allergies, I always get annoyed waitresses giving me the iPad and telling me “whatever is on the iPad is gluten free” and refuse to ask the chef any questions I may have. They told me they don’t have a dedicated fryer but seeing reviews that they do..wished their staff was more educated on it and didn’t act like I’m an annoyance. On the other hand I haven’t had any success eating here. I end up sick every time.
The staff was great and accommodating. It is nice that they have an app for allergies and plenty of options.
Ate here in April 2017 a few weeks after they opened. Had burger on GF bun and fries. When I asked if they had dedicated fryer, manager assured me they keep GF orders separate. Got very sick for 3 days followed by cramps for 5. I East at lots of restaurants with no problems so assume was given fries from common fryer. Lesson is don’t eat at places in business less than a year and pin managers down on dedicated drier or not.
Came here on a Tuesday afternoon and tried to order a burger with a gluten free bun — turns out they were out of gluten free buns. Seriously, how many people are ordering gluten free hamburgers? On a Tuesday at noon? How could they be out? Was super hyped about getting a gf burger but alas. I ended up just ordering the patty with ketchup. Tut tut.
I confirmed they had a dedicated fryer, so I ordered the fries and grilled chicken sandwich on the GF bun. It was very good, especially the chicken sandwich. I generally get a burger, but decided to explore another option. I’m glad that I did! No tummy issues!
I ordered a burger “wedgie style” and it was one of the best lettuce wrapped burgers I’ve ever had! Delicious and it was wrapped it in paper so it was not messy like other lettuce wrap burgers I’ve had in the past at other restaurants.
This was the worst service I have ever received. Not once but twice I ordered a gluten free burger from this establishment and both times my order was incorrect. The second time the manager was to give me a gift certificate above the amount that wlI paid for my meal. That was over 2 weeks ago and nothing has been received
The food is great, as are the servers. However, I have had cross contamination issues 4 times in 4 months. The kitchen doesn't care as much about cross contamination as front of house. I do not reccommend if you have Celiac.
Staff knowledgeable & always make a note the order is GF. Usually you are provided with a tablet where you are able to choose your allergen. You can then make an informed meal choice. Usually always have a dedicated fryer for the fries & generally when the meal arrives it is marked with a purple flag. 99% of the time I have always done well at this chain.
Our server Collin was stellar! Great gluten free menu with option of gluten free bun. Dedicated kitchen/space and dedicated fryer for French fries! Food was great! Collin was very knowledgeable and was able to communicate the safe practices they were using before I even had to ask! I felt safe eating there for myself and my daughter! Love this location!!! We will be back!!! Thank you Collin and Red Robin!!!
Waitress explained that when an allergy is entered it turns purple and they get out a set of everything, knives, cutting board etc, that’s for that allergy only. They save the last fryer for allergies only and only one cook works on your food. Wow! Nima approved.
