I have only had two mishaps here but would have been detrimental if I ate it. I asked for a gluten allergy burger and they still out the deep fried onion on it!! Besides that they are nice about it and have a separate menu online. Absolutely delicious as well. It all depends on what waitress you get. But still a staple and safe place for me
My first time at a Red Robin and I loved it! Had a burger and fries (gluten free) and they came with a little purple stick in it to indicate gluten allergy. Waitress was wonderful! (They also have pretty good ranch)
Never have gotten sick from the many times going here. Just be sure to let them know you can’t eat gluten!

Great service and knowledgeable on gluten free. Understanding staff who were prepared with information and brought us fries super early on. On a busy Saturday night, it is loud but the food makes up for it. 🍔👍
Despite what I was told by the individual who took my order that things would be prepared gf and that the fries were in a dedicated fryer, whoever prepared my meal in the kitchen did not properly make a gf meal. I ordered a burger and fries from the to go menu, and was horribly sick within 20 minutes of eating. Was in pain for almost 48 hours after the meal. Food was not prepared as promised. If you are celiac, I would not go to a red robin facility.
Eaten here 3 times with no digestive issues. Each server was familiar with the kitchen's protocol of preparing food in separate area and using a dedicated fryer for the fries. My kids loved the kids GF burger and fries.
GF awareness and plenty of items. Dedicated frier for fries and sweet potato fries, GF buns, great service and great taste.
GF buns here and dedicated frier. Staff knows what's up. Manager will deliver GF items if it's not too busy.

Excellent experience, when I arrived the host explained to me my GF options and that the fries were cooked in a separate frier. When I asked for an egg on my burger the server said he would make sure the kitchen cooked that for me on a clean grill. Couldn’t ask for better really and the food tasted great!
One of go to restaurants in Lubbock. I have never had a problem with cross contamination. They have gf buns but I always just do a lettuce wrap.
Hamburger with Gluten Free Bun. Gluten Free Fries. The manager brings out the gluten free items and it has a purple plastic pick in it to reaffirm it is gluten free. I still ask every time to confirm that the bun is gluten free and fries as well. Website is very helpful and detailed.
I do eat here sometimes only because of a lack of other options locally. However, you have to check every ingredient on your food, every time. I always get the bonzai burger and garlic fries. I make them aware of the allergy every time. About half the time it still comes out with the teriyaki sauce on it, even though I tell them it's gluten. Be prepared to have to send your food back and be okay with it. They are completely unaware.
I have eaten here many times and never get sick. I always panic because the bun tastes like regular. It sinks down to flat where you bite it though, that’s the difference. Make sure they put a purple pick in your food for allergy and you’re good!
