Out of the 4 times I've eaten here over the last couple years, one time I got sick.
They have a great website listing the allergens in each food choice. I ate fries, a bacon burger, and a milkshake without any problems in August 2019.
This particular Location (Lakewood, WA) is not very celiac friendly. I eat at MANY Red Robin locations, which are usually great, except here. The waitress was nice until I mentioned that I have celiac and have to eat GF, then her look changed. She then went out of her way to avoid us (after taking our order) and when the kitchen staff member came out to give us our food, that person looked at us like they were upset with us as they handed us our food. This made me nervous to eat my food. I noticed my fries were seasoned and was told in the past that the seasoning had gluten in it (other locations never season my fries). Since the waitress was avoiding us I didn't get to ask her if it was safe until it was time to leave and then she just nervously giggled and shrugged her shoulders. I will never go back to this location. They are not friendly or helpful and make me feel unsafe.

Ordered to go..... was very clear and even saw server write it down..... DEFINITELY NOT GF! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.

GF burgers are great! Also fries are GF in separate fryer. This is my favorite place to go for GF burgers and fries! Staff is great and they make sure to be very careful.
I am so pleased with the service and quality of the gluten free experience at Red Robin in Lakewood. They have not only GF buns for their burgers but they have a separate fryer for those with allergies or intolerances to gluten, etc. They use 2 colors of baskets so that when you get a refill, it is not cross contaminated either. The staff is smart and informed about our needs. All of the Red Robins that we have been to offer the same service but we like the Lakewood one the best.

The food was great, the staff (my waitress was Ashley) was really good about making sure my meal was completely safe. I got the baja turkey club as a lettuce wrap and it was delicious.
I was so happy to actually eat a real burger again. gf buns were awesomely tasty. and the staff were very accommodating and thorough. I did have a minor allergic reaction to where my arm touched the table edge.
I have ate here a few times. I havnt gotten sick from the food yet. They almost always involve the manager when you ask for a gluten free menu to make sure you have a safe and happy meal. They have gluten free buns but I think they microwave them to defrost them because lately they have been comming out tough and rubbery like. They usually don't ask me if I would like more fries on my bottomless fries (most likely cause they don't want to moniter the kitchen staff to make sure they don't season the fries). They used to have the California burger on the gluten free menu which is what I always got but now they have taken it off :( Over all though, if you are craving a burger and fries this is pretty much a safe bet.
was good but wish they had buns staff was great
A regular for us. Great gf fries and burgers with gf buns.

Had a gluten free bun cheeseburger and they have the option to make your steak fries gluten free, it was so good!! Will definitely eat there again.

They have really good gluten-free buns and they make everything in a separate area I've only had one issue where someone gave me fries that were cooked near gluten but i could easily tell because they dont put seasoning on their gf fries (but you can put some on yourself still) and they usually have purple sticks in the gf burger but they might have stopped doing that

Staff seems very confused about gluten free fries. Used to have to order them without ‘seasoning’, but last visit I was told that ALL of the fries are now gluten free, even with seasoning. The confusion seems limited to this location. Even the manager wasn’t all that reassuring. If you’re celiac, beware...
