This was the first restaurant I’ve been, since being diagnosed 3 months ago, that has made me feel welcomed even with celiac. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and when I said I had celiac she knew exactly where to point me for safe foods. She also made sure to tell me that the fries were safe as well. It was just so nice not having to explain everything! And my burger (on a lettuce wrap) and fries were delicious!!
Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
It's a gamble here. We've eaten successfully many times and my daughter enjoys the fries from the separate fryer. She always gets a hamburger on a gf bun. A few times, the bun has arrived overcooked/hard. She has gotten sick one time from eating here so it's difficult to rate great because there still is a risk.
I eat here monthly with a couple girlfriends of mine. They offer GF buns and a dedicated fryer. I have had seasoned fries brought to me, by mistake, but if you are dilligent (and you should be as a Celiac), then you shouldn't get contaminated. I never have, here! If the servers were a TAD more careful in making sure what is brought to the table I would've given 5 stars!
I love that no matter where I travel in the Midwest, I can always rely on Red Robin to provide gluten free options for me. I wish they had a few more options, but the separate fryer for gf fries is pretty darn awesome.
Very good gluten free bun! Great service and the fries have a dedicated fryer.
Ordered a gf hamburger and they brought me a regular one. Informed them of the mistake and all they did was put the patty on a gf bun. They didn't even changed the plate. Won't be going back to this location.
Always state you are gluten free when ordering and they make sure everything is safe for you. They color code your basket so no one misses the fact it is a special order They have never been out of gluten free buns when I go there and their GF buns are some of the best I have ever tasted.
very poor gluten menu. No buns or bread as described. small salad dressing choices
Excellent experience, when I arrived the host explained to me my GF options and that the fries were cooked in a separate frier. When I asked for an egg on my burger the server said he would make sure the kitchen cooked that for me on a clean grill. Couldn’t ask for better really and the food tasted great!
Hamburger with Gluten Free Bun. Gluten Free Fries. The manager brings out the gluten free items and it has a purple plastic pick in it to reaffirm it is gluten free. I still ask every time to confirm that the bun is gluten free and fries as well. Website is very helpful and detailed.
I do eat here sometimes only because of a lack of other options locally. However, you have to check every ingredient on your food, every time. I always get the bonzai burger and garlic fries. I make them aware of the allergy every time. About half the time it still comes out with the teriyaki sauce on it, even though I tell them it's gluten. Be prepared to have to send your food back and be okay with it. They are completely unaware.
