Will never eat here again. Used to come here regularly for years because my daughter loved it. Made my server aware of needing to be gluten free/allergen free (ordered my veggie burger in a lettuce wrap) and was brought out on a bun. Sent it back and then received what I was assured were non-allergen fries. When I called my server back to double check because they had all the same seasonings as the regular ones, she claimed she wasn't sure. The manager was rude and clearly had no knowledge of the serious health issues that can arise from ingesting gluten or other food allergies. Walked out, food untouched. Called HQ to file an official complaint. The DM called me back and apologized for the lack of training their company goes through in this regard. Real nice. Use caution when eating here.
Best bun I've found in a restaurant. I travel here all the time. Severs always know what they are talking about and are super attentive. And super cheap!!!

Agree with frhorn's review. Even after speaking with 3 different people including a manager my sister ended up getting cross contaminated and I had to send my burger back. We try to avoid going at busy times but we were assured that the kitchen was plenty staffed and they would be able to accommodate us.
During a recent visit I was served fried onions (non-gf) on my gf meal. When I pointed it out to the server they were unsure what the problem was. Staff is not well trained.
Dedicated gluten free and celiac friendly kitchen, now with iPads as allergen menus that lists all ingredients you would have to replace (if possible) for any menu item. Knowledgeable and attentive staff for multiple visits in my experience.
Hit or Miss- when they are attentive, it's spot on- dedicated gf fryer, variety of menu options, etc...when they aren't, it's a gluten nightmare- however, it is usually safe...nine times out of ten, you will get a safe and good meal but...I have been glutened and for us celiacs, one time is once too many...
My daughter loves this place and until recently I was happy with them. They have done away with the paper gluten free menu and you now need a smart phone to access the online menu. This menu is NOT user friendly. The kitchen manager and VP of Operations did not know how to manage thru it. Very disappointing.
Gluten free menu is really just an allergen menu of safe choices for all of the top 8 allergens, including wheat and gluten together. They have a dedicated fryer for French fries, and the burgers are grilled separately from the buns.
They can make you a burger using lettuce as the "bun," and it's excellent!
This location has really improved. Their vegan burger is now made in house (no longer Boca Brand) and is gf. Also their chips, salsa and guacamole appetizer can be fried in dedicated fryer and would be gf too. Their gf buns are delicious. We order boxes of them often because it gives you 24 buns and is only $14 instead of $2 a piece when ordered separately and they last 30 days!
Ate here with another party who chose this restaurant. I was nervous after seeing the reviews but my waitress was knowledgeable and what she didn’t know she went and asked. I asked about a special seasonal burger which seemed safe but since it was listed for sure the manager thought to be safe not to get it which was a bummer cause it looked good. I stayed with a simple bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries ( all fries and chips are in a dedicated fryer so safe for celiac) which was good. The bun seemed a little soggy on the bottom. I don’t know if it was frozen and then microwaved or what. I would ask next time about how fresh they were. I had no bloating or other ill effects after.
If you only want a burger with no bun and no sides, this is your place.
Only been here once since diagnosis and had a good experience. Their GF menu is very detailed, but you have to ask for it. GF buns we're good, and it was nice to find a place where I could eat the fries as they have a dedicated fryer if you ask. Did not get sick.
EDITED AFTER A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - My daughter became violently ill while still eating. We found onion rings in the basket of “gluten free” fries. Very cautious and “allergy aware”. One child has celiac disease and another is severely allergic to tree nuts and shellfish. Both were able to eat safe, delicious food here. Dedicated fryer for allergies, toasted bun separately, etc.
The staff was rude and a manager compared my celiac to her daughters... and then purposely contaminated the sweet potato fries with onion rings after we already let her know our “gluten free appetizer had onion rings in the chips. We didn’t tell her wanting free food. I reported to let her know that it was unacceptable. She acted like an abusive bully and yelled at my boyfriend when he explained for the second time what happened.
Something got me here. Not sure if it was the burger or the fries. Another thought is that, I am no longer used to greasy foods...maybe that was it. The burger and fries tasted great, so it is a little disappointing to me that I got sick. It wasn't MAJOR cross contamination, but enough that I was in for the night after eating here. The waitstaff was pleasant, and said all the right things. My lunch was brought on a special plate, and handled separate. I spent the week in Michigan, and this was the only place I got sick.
I had a nice experience here. Friendly staff helped me Navigate the “tablet” for allergen orders. Got a burger and fries. Bun was ok. As gluten free buns go it was better then most . It didn’t fall apart and crumble as some others do. Thank you for a nice sick free experience.
They seemed knowledgeable and I ordered the salmon but somehow still got sick afterwards.
Food tasted good. Drinks were good. NOT celiac friendly. I got very sick twice from eating here.
Waitress didn't know anything about gluten free and the manager wouldn't even come out to the table to explain to me why their ranch isn't gf! On the website/ tablet they gave me to use said a numerous amount of sauces we're gf but when I asked they couldn't tell me anything
I recently discovered Red Robin’s gluten free menu on a trip to Florida and have since tried them in several locations. Great gluten free bun, and many other menu options. The knowledgeable staff made me feel so much better about eating here safely. I am highly sensitive and have not had an adverse reaction at this restaurant. The buns taste so real that I was concerned that they gave me a regular bun. Great food and many options. I highly recommend eating here.
Red Robin is a great place for those looking to avoid gluten, or just have a great meal. They offer a lot of foods that are normally gluten free. They also have the option of gluten free hamburger buns, just be careful with what normally comes on the burger. They have dedicated fryers for the fries, you just have to tell them you want them gluten free. I get a grilled chicken breast and a side of gluten free bottomless fries; it depends on what server rings it up, but I can get my meal for around $6 if rung up properly. They do a great job accommodating any allergies their guests may have.
Everything was fine, just as with other Red Robins we've been to. The waitress was knowledgeable and ensured that our celiac daughter's food was prepared in a GF kitchen area, and everything was fine.
Server was great, didn’t ask a lot of questions but understood when I asked for gf bun and knew the sweet potato fries only had sea salt on them. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger on gf bun. Everything was great. No issues after. Would go back.
The waitress, hostess, and manager were all knowledgeable & helpful. They were all aware of celiac & assured us of the separate frier and precautions (ie changing gloves). The waitress went as far as telling us items that used to contain gluten & now are gf. Separate menu, good food, my celiac didn’t get sick.
The staff was knowledgeable. I had an issue and when my plate came out there was a French fried onion on my plate. As soon as I pointed it out the waitress said “oh no we have to remake your whole plate I will have them State a new burger now”. They apologized multiple times, brought me all new food, and comped my whole families meal (4 of us). They said they take allergies very seriously and they wanted to make it right. My food that I got the second round was great and didn’t make me sick!
I feel totally safe eating here...when I order gf buns, they usually ask if it’s an allergy or preference, and I feel that they take extra care when I let them know it’s an “allergy”. I’ve never gotten sick, and I’ve been quite often. They do have an online allergen menu, but it’s a bit buggy on mobile as of now. When I’ve had questions about sauces, they’ve been quick to help and find out.

Ils ont un back avec tous le nécessaire (outils de travail neufs) pour préparer un repas pour celiac. Frites dans huile séparée. Epices sg sur la table. Grill attitré a la cuisson sans gluten. Repas délicieux. J'y retournerais sans hésiter.

Red Robin has an extensive gluten free & allergen list. Most of the hamburgers are gluten free including their chili and salsa burger. Red Robin also has a dedicated gluten free fryer and the French Fries are bottomless - probably the only reason I repeatedly dine at Red Robin. The staff is very knowledgeable and I’ve never had an issue eating at Red Robin. Highly recommend!!
