I’ve eaten here semi regularly and the food has always been gf as long as i communicate my allergy to my server. i dunno about take out or door dash but at the restaurant they’ve been great and have good protocols for the space. the fries can be cooked gf by request and their gf buns are fine (kinda sandy but edible)
This is one of the restaurants I frequent the most in Albuquerque for GF food. (I have to avoid wheat/gluten but I’m not a celiac.) GF buns are available, and there is a separate “allergen fryer” available to prepare french fries, sweet potato fries, or their “yukon chips.” If you ask, they can show you a tablet with allergen information for each meal, and how to order items to be gluten free. During the rare times I have received a meal containing gluten, the most frequent reason was that the offsite call center collected my to-go information but didn’t relay it properly to the local restaurant. I can get around the call center by using the online ordering system. The other problem is that sometimes my salads appear with croutons (it doesn’t click with some cooks that croutons contain wheat.) This location (Office) and Cottonwood locations are significantly better at handling GF orders than the Winrock/Coronado location is.
I had a terrible experience at the Coronado location. My burger came out on a regular bun and when I told the waitress, she acted annoyed with me and sent the order back. It came out super soon after on the same plate. I was assured it was a new patty and plate and so I ate it. Ended up super sick the next day and haven't been back. Supposedly the westside location has a dedicated fryer for french fries. Maybe I will try that one sometime and hope for a better experience.
Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
We came in a little late. 925 and they close at 10. However the second my burger came out with a rock hard microwaved bun and looking like a mess I knew I would need to take glutenease. I very nicely asked for a new top bun, not whole bun, just top and it came out piping hot and turned into a hockey puck a minute later. Our server was very nice however the kitchen was obviously in no mood to make our food. I've eaten at a lot of different red Robin's and have always walked away satisfied and unglutened. This one is not ran quite the same. So if you are in the area, consider a different restaurant.
Staff was knowledgeable. If you tell them you have celiac they give you an iPad you enter your allergies and it will tell you what items to avoid.
Enjoyed the Avo-cobb-o salad without cheese (I’m also dairy free) and croutons. I also enjoyed some fries. My food came out flagged to mark allergies. I didn’t have any issues here. There were quite a few options marked gf on the main menu as well as the kids menu, and they have a gf bun. The waitress was fairly new but already seemed to know protocol for allergies. Overall the atmosphere was a little loud but we still had a nice time.
We come here often, celiac here. I ask for Ryan every time as she is the best! She verified that that the ranch and honey mustard are GF. The Bun is from Rotella and is so similar to a regular bun! I enjoy coming here every time. The fries are in a dedicated fryer as well. Red Robin seasoning is GF as well 👌🏼You won’t be disappointed
