My son and I both have celiac. The server was very helpful and made sure to note our “allergies.” There is a dedicated fryer, so we were able to have sweet potato fries. My son had the cauliflower pizza and I had the California chicken sandwich with a gf bun. She carried out our food at a different time than the other food to prevent cross-contamination. Both of us were able to eat and not get sick!
Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
We’ve been ordering take out through the pandemic. My daughter has celiac and has ordered off both the kids menu and adult menu. And I’ve ordered online and by phone. I always check that her food has the purple gf stick before leaving with our order. But she hasn’t had any problems.
Dec 2016 update--went twice this month and both times it was terrible. We will not be going back, esp with other burger choices now in the Midlo area. The GFree bun had very hard edges both times, like they were stale and burger was cold. Previous review--GFree buns available and they are ok, I think they are Udis. I always get the cheeseburger and a side salad. We eat here monthly with kids. I have never had a reaction with those items. At the restaurant, they say the fries are GFree, so I risked it twice and had stomach ache both times, even with no seasoning. Also use to claim their vanilla shake was GFree, I had severe reaction a few years ago even though they supposedly cleaned the mixer and used a new container. So, stick to meat, GFree bun, lettuce or veggie, no extra sauces and you should be ok.
Great gluten free buns, but their overuse of margarine and subpar meat leaves something to be desired.
very friendly and understanding, they had gluten free burgers for my son and I and they were great!
Table and plates were dirty. No forks available when we arrived and had to eat appetizer without them. GF bun on hamburger was good!
my whole family enjoys the food and service. you can het a gluten free bun or a lettuce wrap for your burger. I have never had a cross contamination issue at this location. my personal favorite.
Was excited and got french fries, broccoli, and the veggie patty on a gluten free bun (“keep it simple” style on the menu).
Was super yummy, I checked and they said fries would be fried in dedicated fryer. Burger arrived allergy style so I had to build it myself, marked with an allergy flag. Everything was marked GF on the website in the allergens notes. Great staff.
Went to see a movie after and got hit with the fatigue wall, now that its the morning im glued to the toilet. Great food…but was unsafe for me in the end. Got contaminated and pretty solidly it seems. Do not recommend for that reason, despite waiter being very helpful, and this being one of the few locations i have found that say you can ask to have your fries fried in a dedicated fryer (you have to ask though).
We have gone to Red Robin many times since they opened. And of all the restaurants around us, this is the one where I have NOT had an accidental gluten issue. Their GF bun is good. They have a dedicated fryer for fries (regular and sweet potato). Many of the staff are knowledgeable about GF and the management team is very eager to help when they hear someone has Gluten issues. This is a regular stop for us, because I know I can eat here without having to worry.
I’ve eaten here semi regularly and the food has always been gf as long as i communicate my allergy to my server. i dunno about take out or door dash but at the restaurant they’ve been great and have good protocols for the space. the fries can be cooked gf by request and their gf buns are fine (kinda sandy but edible)
