Love it here, gluten free fryers, great buns and fried chicken sandwiches and tenders!
Had a great time dining here. They offered a gluten free bun that had a great texture, a lot better than Udi’s! I’m not 100% sure on the safety of the fried sides, but I risked it and was fine :)
The man who took my order understood what celiac is, immediately went to talk to the kitchen after taking my order. They emphasized that they can’t guarantee zero cross contamination due to the nature of a mixed kitchen, but they take appropriate precautions. Loved my chicken sandwich (big bun that didn’t fall apart!) and the fries. Will definitely return.

Great burger! Good bun that didn’t fall apart - yummy fries too! Only had a bite of the gf chicken but it was phenomenal as well. Great service and clearly understand gluten free.
Very good bison burger with gluten-free bun, GF condiments and GF French fried potatoes. Menu offers tremendous variety of options!
Had good luck here. Safely enjoyed a burger on GF bun, fries, and a very fresh tasting salad. Staff seemed knowledgeable for the most part. More of a fast casual order at the counter concept than table service but they were very nice and patient with questions. Great neighborhood to walk around in and explore too if you are visiting!
My fiancé (celiac) and I visited this spot and it was delicious. We had the summertime burger, fried chicken sandwich, and fries. My fiancé even had a buckwild beer and he loved it. Staff was super helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Will definitely go again.
Love this lil gem. Eaten here many times and my go-to burger spot in the city. They have dedicated friers for the fries and chicken. Also the tastiest turkey burger I’ve had in a restaurant.
Great lunch spot! They asked if it was an allergen or preference and there is a separate fryer for fries and chicken! Very delicious especially the sweet potato fries !!

Had the Heritage burger with bacon, aioli, etc. Very rich umami taste with excellent bun! The fries were just ok. Not sure about safety but they asked if GF was choice or allergy

Have never been glutened here, and have been eating here frequently since I moved to sf about a year ago. Dedicated gf fryer. They have gf chicken tenders too!!

The food is amazing! The service was even better. We had one overnight in San Francisco and were lost most of it lol. We got on the wrong trolley then off the bus early and as we speed walked we did our order online. It was scheduled for pickup 1 minute before they closed. They still have us amazing service and even added the GF fries we forgot to order. Leah is amazing!
Didn’t recommend celiacs eat there. Disappointing the second place we tried after a long walk that didn’t recommend for celiacs.
Holy cow! I love when you can find actual GF burgers (a burger AND bun) and GF fries. I had the Heritage Burger and sweet potato fries. So yummy. Most everything there is GF!
Severely celiac and allergic to dairy. No problems. Separate preparation area and pans. Staff is very knowledgeable and takes top precautions to keep safe.
They're fryer is safe of gluten--they also use sunflower oil.
Awesome burgers, great GF buns, and knowledgeable staff. They even use GF flour to batter their fried zucchini and onions! The fryer is dedicated gluten free.
The staff is great. They have gluten free buns. The food was really delicious but not enough and I was already a bit hungry after the meal.

My husband and I don't eat out often because of how sensitive I am with not only gluten but dairy as well. Roam is our weekly go to!! Highly recommended. Fries are all GF and the burgers can be made on a gluten free bun or lettuce wrap.
High quality meat (grass fed, free range), cooked deliciously, with a ton of toppings to choose from and delicious fries. Not only was the food super good, but they have A LIST OF ALL THE INGREDIENTS. This is invaluable for someone like me with a million things I need to avoid. Had the bison burger in a lettuce wrap with avocado and bacon and sweet potato fries (they use rice bran oil, by the way). They also have gluten free buns from Canyon Bakehouse. The atmosphere is also really hip- I can't really be picky about stuff like atmosphere with so many allergies but I really appreciate when an allergy-friendly place manages to also nail the atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Hands down best damn gf burger I've had! I did a lettuce wrap & tejano style with beef! So so good!
Gluten free bun was OK, but the burger overall is delicious!
Found the Union street location today. Usually go to Fillmore. Great burger with a tasty lettuce wrap. Sweet potato fries are GF and are made in a really tasty salt / parsley mix. Wish this location had Omission. They do have GF beer though....New Planet. Met the owner today and had a real great talk. Restaurant is committed to sustainable farming and sourcing products responsibly.
Can sub the bun for a butter lettuce wrap, also all the fries are really good and all GF. The truffle Parmesan russet fries and chipotle maple sweet potato fries are my faves but the zucchini fries are also super yummy...the Farmers Market Salad with turkey is always a good bet too. Consistently good, fresh ingredients, however, dont know/cant tell if cross contamination is ever an issue.

Place was amazing, the lady taking our order was knowledgeable and the food was amazing, probably the best gluten free bun i’ve ever had (plus fries were great too!)
Delicious burgers. The bun is great and is not sandy and doesn’t crumble. Dairy free shakes and vegan cheese. Fries were exceptional, especially the zucchini onions!
My daughter (very sensitive celiac) eats here with no problem. The fryer has no gluten in it and the chicken tenders are gluten free. They said the GF buns are grilled next to the veggie burgers which have gluten in them so maybe skip the gf bun and go for lettuce. Haven’t tried the shakes yet but they have a binder with the ingredients of each
Outstanding! The salad was delicious and the autumn soup and tomato soup were spectacular. The flavors were so bold. I have also had a burger here, and the bun is ok for GF. Never been glutened here. They take GF seriously. Good customer service, too. Claudia is very friendly.
Eat here all the time- no issues.
