It's been a couple years since eating there. I ate there OFTEN UNTIL my baked beans had two "macaroni" mixed in. I let the server know and was told the manager would come out. He never did. Then she said he wouldn't be coming out. I mentioned this to another "celiac" friend who told me she had the same experience of Gluten items were in her gluten free order. I have not eaten there since and don't know if they've gotten better about BEING CAREFUL. I'm highly sensitive to gluten cross contamination (makes me sick for at least 3 days if even slightly cross contaminated). The manager refused to come out and address this having happened BOTH with my incidence and my friend said when it happened to her the manager would not address it.. I never went back. It's been over 2 years. If the management would have at least had any concern - it would have been a better situation. I don't trust this place for anyone gluten free. Plus management avoidance of confronting a bad situation.

One of our favorite Williamsburg restaurants. They have gluten free buns and many gluten free sauces. They can make wings on the grill so they are GF. I’ve also had the brisket and their ribs all were delicious. They also have gluten free desserts! I make sure to tell the server I am gluten free and they verify everything before serving it to you.

To be fair, it was very busy the night we went and I didn’t explain my gluten sensitivity to the server. That being said, I ordered a burger on a gluten free bun and a salad. My salad came out with croutons on it. My burger came out on a regular bun, not a gluten-free bun and thankfully my husband noticed it before I took a bite. I told the server who took it back, and the same burger came back on a gluten-free bun (I know because I had put some sauce on it). Then, halfway through eating it, I bit into a square piece of parchment paper. Yuck. The server was very embarrassed and did not charge me for my meal after all of that, which was the right thing to do. Again, I didn’t explain my sensitivity to the server and maybe that was my fault, but it was obvious the servers and kitchen staff are not well-versed in gluten-free food prep.

HORRIBLE service, and I was sick almost immediately after eating there. Not sure if it was gluten or something else, but it's terrible.

We decided to give a try based on the reviews. There were several options available and all the various sauces offered at Rocco’s were gluten free. I had brisket with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. My husband and daughter, both vegetarian, had cheese smothered fries and battered cheese curds - they really enjoyed those and my husband has been talking about the cheese curds for days! The server was very knowledgeable about the gluten free options and precautions. If you like BBQ, definitely worth dropping in.

Excellent wings they can do gf
Delicious! Waitress Amber was knowledgeable. She said the meats, bbq sauces are all GF; but fried items are not, nor are the corn muffins. I had the ribs, cole slaw, and smoke beans and all were delicious.
Yes
There is not a specified gluten free menu but they disclose their barbecue sauces and seasonings are gluten free. The corn muffins however are not gluten free. This is THE BEST place to go for pulled pork, beef brisket, pork ribs, and chicken all smoked and tender. The corn on the cob and baked beans are amazing! The serving staff are very attentive. Some times they actually have gluten free brownies for dessert, but not often enough.
Yes
I give this a 4 because like 1 person mentioned: no GF buns as they ran out. That was a bummer. Maybe call ahead especially for dinner. We were told all rubs and bbq sauce are GF. For sides they were ok, need some actual vegetables (corn is a grain!). Service was good and staff was knowledgeable. Worth a trip...go before 6p to avoid crowds.
Yes
Very good. Waiter was very knowledgable about gluten free ingredients on the menu.
This place had no specified gluten free menu but offered gluten free buns. I had the beef brisket cheese steak on a gluten free bun with fries and slaw and didn’t get sick. Food was under seasoned but hit the spot as I am on vacation.
Yes
Had the pulled pork platter with mashed potatoes and smoked beans. It was very yummy! The server was knowledgeable about what's gluten-free on the menu and did a great job helping me. I would recommend this place. They serve big portions so bring your appetite.
Food was good. However, when I asked our server if there was a gluten free menu she said no, but that everything on the menu except the bread was gluten free. Obviously doesn’t know anything about GF. The menu has breaded and fried stuff and more. May try them again but I’ll do my own research on the GF food.
Excellent food, waiter was very accommodating and knowledge. Great food for a great price!
Good food, but the crab cakes say no filer, but have ritz crackers. All the barbecue sauces have gluten. No gluten free menu, server had to tell me all this.
awesome food! gluten free sauces and gluten free rolls for sandwiches and burgers. staff seemed knowledge about celiac

My wife had a gluten-free Brisket Philly Cheesesteak and I had a Jalapeno cheddar burger. Both were superb! Waitress was knowledgeable on all gluten-free items!
Yes
This meal was excellent! We had a variety of foods and they were all great! The ribs and brisket were my 2 favorites! They had a gf bun for the pulled pork sandwiches. Only negative, no GF desserts.
If you have celiac, don't go. hostess told me all their meat is gluten free! what knowledge she has about celiac, like they said their staff would have. Waiter knew about as much as the hostess. Won't be back.

AMAZING food and service!! VERY Celiac friendly! Adam was our server and he was extremely knowledgeable regarding gluten allergies. Their GF cornbread was fantastic. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!

Food was okay. Some of our food was not warm, as if it had been reheated but not enough. Sauces were also just okay. Beans were good with a nice sweet, yet tangy flavor. We both had the chicken/brisket/pulled pork combo. We didn't find the meal to be anything special. Our waiter also quit in the middle of our meal and no one realized it for quite some time. We were given a discount for the service, or lack of service, but even putting that aside we wouldn't go back.
A knowledgeable staff who seem to understand the issues. Have GF rolls but not a dedicated fryer. Said all meats and sauces are GF. They even have appetizers!
Yes
BBQ spot with gluten free bun for burgers and sandwiches. Grill fish and bbq gf options. A number of sides gf. Server was knowledgeable and very helpful.
