Disappointed- The nice waitress told me the only gf options for brunch time were french toast or eggs benedict. I was excited because I love french toast and never get to have it. But then the chef said no, that it would take too much time to make without using the same egg batter they have for regular french toast, so it was eggs benedict or nothing. At least they were decent.
Super friendly and accommodating. The gf bread was also df. I had a breakfast sandwich, country potatoes and espresso that they let me put my own coconut milk in. You can tell this is a local place as well in the way they greet people and people talking about what they’ve had before that was good (people next to me were raving about their foil dog).
Great wait staff, all food eaten was delicious. Waitress was new and inexperienced when it came to GF. I asked a lot of questions and so did our waitress and I settled on the spicy shrimp and grits. It was delicious and I did not get sick. I didn’t feel 100% comfortable with the knowledge of GF but it worked out ok.
The food was so good!!! They were very clear about gluten free and made sure all items were prepared properly. They serve gluten free on a white plate and gluten on red as an additional identification measure. Great!
Service was very good. The owner and Chefs were very knowledgeable about food allergies. The gluten free burger was great, the only place I was able to find gluten free buns and fries. And outdoor seating that was dog friendly.
Husband ordered burger with GF bun. Burger was large and not greasy. Fries were very good.( Fryer used only for fries and homemade potato chips) I ordered the steak and cheese quiche and homemade potato chips. The food was wonderful and we were able to chat with the owner. It was also a pet friendly place.
Great Experience here. Small family place with a great atmosphere. Staff was extremely kind and helpful and I felt comfortable ordering and eating here. My son and I did not have a reaction. They have many types of gluten free bread but none of the sides were gluten free, they were out of cole slaw. No dedicated fryer. But the sandwiches were amazing and I felt safe, we will definitely come back!
No dedicated fryer but 4 types of GF bread. Owner said they use clean utensils and cook in a separate pan/pot for GF customers as long as they are made aware. Menu is not separately marked but we asked and were told what we could have. The owner said crab cakes are GF, not made with any bread crumbs or fillers. Yay! Can't wait to try them next. I had a Cuban sandwich and my husband had chicken salad sandwich, both on GF bread. They were delicious! Looking forward to our next visit.
This place is a MUST STOP at if you're in town. I was visiting just up the road and decided to give this place a try and I loved it so much I came back a second time. I can not speak to whether the actual sloppy joe meat or the chips were 100% GF but I did not have any issues after eating! Not only was the food delicious but they were able to accommodate it to be gluten free! The staff was incredibly nice and they were so welcoming I felt like I had been in the area for years. Has a nice small town feel and I highly recommend!
