Went there because of all the positive recommendations. First waiter gave us corn crisp tortilla chips and dip- I asked for gluten-free and he said yes. Then another waitress came and told me it’s not gluten free if I have Celiac because there is cross contamination because they take the same fryer. Then we wanted to order Guacamole and had a bis discussion with what I should eat is (because we now made clear tortilla chips are not gluten free). So we ordered vegetables- they were disgusting and not really fresh. As main course I ordered tacos with pollo and asked for really being careful because of celiac. Half an hour later i felt very sick and with lots of typical problems... would not go there again. In New York and Miami at Rosa we always ate good and safe- not here...

The server was excellent. My son had the kids taco meal gluten free and loved it and the chips were also gluten free.

Definitely my favorite celiac-friendly chain Mexican restaurant. Whether I’m in DC, NY or SF, Rosa Mexicana has been a consistent go-to for great drinks, great food, and great service.

So many delicious GF options!! I also avoid dairy and I didn't feel like my choices were limited. Tableside guac, enchiladas, and several other dishes were GF and tasted AMAZING. Everything was fresh and super friendly staff.

I feel comfortable with their GF menu- and the GF fryer...but there are rush hours that can make it so busy that there are order mistakes. Just don't go when the crowd is overflowing!
Great gluten free options. I've eaten here twice and never gotten sick. The margaritas are made with fresh ingredients. Love the nachos (comes with homemade guacamole!) and the fish tacos.
Pretty good gf selection
I'm adding this because it has a gluten-free menu and I want to hear others thoughts.
Yes
Everything we had was top tier delicious. I'm a sensitive celiac and didn't get sick. Highly recommended

There are a lot of Gluten Free options and the staff acknowledged they avoid cross contamination. I’ve eaten there three times and have walked away super happy and full :)

I am a regular here and have never had any issues! Go enough and you may get some freebies! 😏
Read the reviews & it started out as a great experience. Server confirmed they could do gf, have a separate deep fryer and understood the severity of celiac.
Until they delivered the tacos with a flour tortilla instead of a corn tortilla listed.
Took one bite and knew something was wrong.
Wait staff tried to say I ordered the wrong item despite verifying multiple times that it would be gluten free.
Wouldn’t recommend.

So many GF options all over the menu!! Be sure to get the GUACAMOLE EN MOLCAJETE. It's made tableside. The pink chips (and salsa) are GF. I enjoyed the QUESO FUNDIDO (to die for!), CHICKEN SUIZAS (enchiladas), rice and black refried beans. The server communicated with the cook about my allergy and took it very seriously.
