I ordered the corned beef .... essentially served Benedict style with gluten free bread. Absolutely delicious. It is a brunch-focused menu, so heavy on the eggs in general. The result is that every item on the GF menu features eggs. If you don’t like eggs, you will have no options. But if you do like eggs, a fantastic meal with unique choices.

Not a lot of options for GF but I had the Migas which were great but I would’ve loved a biscuit or pancakes.
It was dirty. The staff had no idea what was gluten free so I did not eat there. My husband ordered his food and it was the worse meal in New Orleans.

The staff was amazing! Very knowledgeable!

Not for celiacs - you can order omelettes and sandwiches without bread, but its definitely not GF. Our server was kind but knew nothing about GF and initially offered the oatmeal, which is not GF. Be careful

I ended up having an omelette and 2 sides of fruit. It was fair at best. My husband, who is not GF, enjoyed his breakfast. I didn’t feel great later that day, and I was very worried since we were at the museum. It’s a good place if you don’t have to be GF. I wish we went back to Powdered Sugar, but I was trying to be flexible....

Hostess was baffled when I asked about gluten free. My server even more so; she put her hands over her face and heaved a great sigh. Finally she got information from someone else. Ultimately I ate a tasty omelet but I do NOT recommend this place.
Really good. I got an omelette. We had a great waitress but if the server was less knowledgeable it could have been challenging to eat here.

Love this place. Been here for breakfast every day. Food is great! Staff very attentive. Husband had no problems!
Great service from Raven, she came back our to verify some things. Food was yummy, place has a nice feel. Definitely recommend

Server understood exactly what was going on and took all precautions!

Ate breakfast there, no gluten free menu, but staff informed me what was safe to eat. Had bacon and eggs, say no to the potatoes. I didn't get sick :-)
Yes
Pretty bad service both times we went. Also the server knew nothing about GF. Had eggs, bacon and grits. No reaction but I’m not sure if it was celiac safe.
The food here was great, but the staff was not very knowledgeable about gluten free options. I ended up going with the migas and didn’t have any reaction after.
Yes
Waitress very knowledgeable about what can be made GF on menu. No dedicated fryer though

Mmmmmm it was ok ... I had to fully explain what my dietary needs were to the manager who said she was slightly familiar with celiac needs. I did not get glutened though 👍🏽
Our waitress was very helpful....there are plenty of choices really. Many things can be tailored for a gf diet. I mean no sandwiches, but most places don't have gf bread anyway. Plenty of breakfast options. I will definitely eat there again!
Yes
Very knowledgeable about gluten and cross contamination. Made excellent suggestions and even checked into our drinks for possible gluten content. Delicious!!
I know this place comes highly recommended but our food just wasn't super fresh or good. No gluten reactions, just nothing to write home about.
There is no gf menu but the server was knowledge and helpful. I ordered an omelette and cheese grits! Delicious.
Yes
The waitress didn't seem very knowledgeable about gluten free options and cross contamination. We felt like we really rolled the dice eating there. I would not recommend for celiacs.

I had a wonderful experience here. The waiter and manager were incredibly knowledgeable and responsive. I had the Gulf Fish St Peter with cheese grits instead of the grit cake and it was the best breakfast and piece of fish I've had in New Orleans. I will be back!

There's a separate GF menu and a few other specialties. I had the egg, bacon sandwich and it was great.

We had a great experience here! There is a specific dietary preference menu found online. I had the gf French toast, omelet, breakfast potatoes, and a latte- all delicious. Our server was Kristy, and she was knowledgeable and friendly. She also was patient with my questions and dietary concerns. We came in from Philadelphia, and this was our first stop.

We ate at Ruby Slipper this morning. It’s best to put your name on the waitlist, as it was quite busy. We waited about 25 minutes during a non-busy season here. The GF menu was separate, and also included sections for other food sensitivities. I had the Salmon Avocado Toast per another reviewer’s suggestion, and it was delicious. That particular item may not be generous enough for some people, but with a side of fresh fruit and the espresso vanilla latte for dessert was enough for me. Other items like their large burgers (available on GF bread) that I saw go to other tables would be very filling. There are no GF desserts, though my non-GF spouse loved the beignets. This is a New Orleans-based restaurant so their menu includes tasty things from that city.

Ordered the gluten free French toast. It was just okay, happy to have gluten free options available. Service was good.
