GF pancake was large, just ok, a bit doughy. Didn't care for the coffee and the grits had no seasoning. GF bread and pancake mix is Udi brand, which I personally don't care for.

I have been here 3 times now since I was diagnosed with celiac disease 4 years ago. I used to go here all the time before my diagnosis. Each time I am very specific about it and I am reassured about their knowledge of celiac and how they used a dedicated area and gluten free toaster, etc. Each time I have been very sick. I think they think they are doing all they can but their kitchen is just too busy to keep it clean enough for those with celiac disease. I thank them for trying!

Ordered a salmon blt with gluten free bread, I was brought a fried tomato sandwich with regular bread. Thankfully I looked in my sandwich and noticed something looked fried. I had already accentuated to my waitress that I was gluten free so I’m unsure where the disconnect was and if it was her or the kitchens fault. All that to say if you eat there be mindful and check your food if possible before consuming.

Very good GF pancakes. GF French toast was dry and I wouldn’t get them again. Non-GF hubby didn’t love his burger and said it lacked flavor. I felt safe eating here.

I absolutely loved Sage Biscuit Cafe! Their gluten-free pancakes were chef’s kiss! So incredibly fluffy and you can add whatever toppings that you would like! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a more filling sit-down breakfast.

We found this on find me gf and had a wonderful experience. Our waitress immediately knew what Celiac was explained the gf options are prepared separately and there were lots of choices! My son enjoyed an order of chocolate chip pancakes and sausage:).

We went basic eggs and it was delicious. Bacon was even better than sausage. They are completely prepared for Celiac including notes on order to clean the grill. Not far from south AMI, Bradenton Beach and north Longboat and worth the drive for peace of mind and quality of breakfast.

Artisan breakfast, brunch and lunch. The menu is marked for many of the safe options, but can accommodate safe modifications to nearly everything on the menu. Portions are very generous. We had the Sage Breakfast Platter (eggs, meat, gf toast, grits, and GF pancakes) and GF strawberry stuffed French toast (stuffed with cream cheese, topped with strawberries and Chantilly whipped cream) and blackberry mimosas. Excellent!

No gf menu and a few things are marked gf. BUT they can definitely accommodate! And they did so easily! Both Brittany and Kayla helped me order and It was safe. Food is nothing super special but it was tasty. Would return.
Yes
No Gluten Free menu but the staff seemed knowledgeable. I ordered the Quinoa Scramble and it was delicious. It comes with toast. They have 2 kinds of GF Bread and a dedicated toaster. (First time I could eat toast at a restaurant) - I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
the gf pancakes were pretty good and the staff was nice and understanding!
Staff was super knowledgeable about gluten free options on the menu - of which there were many. Super delicious.
Staff was knowledgeable. However, gluten free pancakes and French toast are not cooked on a separate part of the grill. Look for skillet egg dishes that are made and served in the skillet. Eat at the counter do you can see the kitchen and wait staff can interact with the cooks. Gluten friendly but not very celiac friendly.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They offered omelets, GF toast, GF French Toast, GFpancakes, and many more options. Wait staff asked if I had Celiac. She then proceeded to tell me not to order the potatoes due to cross contamination. She told me the butter is always on the side to reduce possibility for cross contamination. I would definitely eat there again!!

My favorite place to go out for breakfast, the food is fresh and well prepared. I am very sensitive to gluten. I have never had a reaction from eating here.
Yes
The food was delicious, the staff knowledgeable and the mimosas (blackberry with OJ) I as fantastic.
Yes
This place is not safe AT ALL.
They say they have GF options, but everything is cross-contaminated.
Especially horrifying is the area where they make toast, including the "GF" toast, which is all done on one toaster, spit on onto a cutting board that is COMPLETELY covered in bread crumbs, and buttered with the same knife and butter.
Staff is clueless as to celiac, especially the owner.
Before we knew my wife had celiac we used to love to come here... But it is simply not safe. Please do not risk it!
As a side note, we realized that the last time we were here that the restaurant itself is quite dirty. If you do go, go up to the counter and look around. The coffee station is covered in layers of splattered milk and never cleaned up (including the steamer). The pastry case is covered in dust/filth on the inside, and I doubt has ever been cleaned. Food prep areas are not wiped down at all during the course of a shift (at the very least)... Look at where they prep the toast as an example.
We honestly ordered food, they delivered one dish but we ended up just walking out (left cash for food plus tip) just because it was so obvious that a severe glutening was going to occur.
If you have celiac again, urge you not to risk coming here.

I absolutely loved it there! They had many gluten free options and were happy to help. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about it and was almost exited to have a gluten free customer. The food was so good I felt I had to thank the chef. The food was at an expected price, (not to high but not cheap). But if you asked me they should have made it cost more for how great it was! This is definitely worth your money and time.

Staff was friendly and good about telling me the potatoes are fried in a shared fryer. Food was delicious. Gfree bread is AWESOME! I suggest French toast more than pancakes!
Yes
The staff was not knowledgeable about gluten free options. Wanted to toast gluten free bread in glutened toaster.

AMAZING!! So many options and great pancakes and quinoa scramble!! My mom is super celiac and did not have any problems.

they do have gluten free options. I did not get sick from the breakfast. pancakes had the very wet feel that many gf pancakes and waffles have. not the friendliest staff but they were gluten aware.

Always love being able to get a sandwich and the gf bread was awesome! Good sized and very tasty.
Good! Answered all of my questions and double checked on ingredients! Big portions and gf bread was tasty.
Staff and chefs very knowledgeable in preparation and importance of food being gluten-free with zero cross-contamination. The service and attention to detail was excellent. The food was plentiful, properly prepared and of excellent quality. I can highly reccomended thsi retaurant but be prepared to get in as it is very busy.

Delicious food. Had the French toast. Even my non GF hubby loved it!
Yes
I give this place five stars for gluten-free. I had the pancakes and they were good but next time I would certainly add some of the options and not take them plain If I was writing this on service I would give the staff four stars for being friendly and helpful. We arrived at 12:40 and had to wait an hour to get seated this was after being told we would have an initial wait of 20 minutes.
Yes
Amazing pancakes. Be warned: THEY ARE HUGE. I typically eat 3-5 regular pancakes. I ordered 2 to save money, but I could only eat 1. Dairy free, too, so leftovers are fine. We even spotted a celebrity eating here. (Lead singer of We The Kings)
The gluten free pancakes and French toast were amazing!! You can get anything put in your pancakes, I got bananas put in and it was delicious.
I had the gluten free French toast, with bananas, walnuts, and caramel sauce. Also, I had the jalapeño bacon! Absolutely Amazing!!!! For my celiac friends, they have a lot of breakfast options here; but it's not on their online menu, that I could find. Gluten free pancakes etc. This is great little breakfast place! 😍

Good breakfast and lunch.
