Waitress helped find my daughter a GF option for kids. Was told the fryer was not dedicated gluten free. The desserts looked delicious.

Sensitive celiac who has eaten here 100’s of times and has never had a gluten issue. I had gf pancakes and a side of bacon. Bacon was marked gf on the menu. I had a serious celiac reaction this time. Very disappointed.

I love this place. They have a dedicated GF fryer, and while the wait staff isn’t necessarily knowledgeable about celiac, they do have GF marked items on the menu, I feel safe eating here, and have never gotten sick. I just had to double check about a dedicated GF fryer twice to make sure they found out if they had one. I would highly recommend this place. Delicious truffle fries, curry, burger, desert, drinks.

Used to be one of our favorite restaurants prior to my celiac diagnosis. After a good recommendation from a gf friend we went back last night. I notified my server of my celiac diagnosis and the need for my food and drinks to be gf. I had a couple of margaritas, gf crackers and pimento cheese dip, potato wedges and gf breakfast tacos. All items except margaritas were labeled gf on the menu and the waitress assured me the margaritas were gf (mgmt confirmed via email). Unfortunately, I got really sick. It wasn’t food poisoning as my husband ate everything I did and he was fine. I definitely do not recommend Sarah’s Table for a celiac.

Went for dinner tonight. I decided to Nima test the last bit of my dish as I was starting to feel my guts start to turn. Gluten found. We’d already paid so I called the server over just to let her know (hopefully, to save another celiac from getting glutened). Server talked to the manager and was adamant that the dish (marked GF) was, in fact, GF. Said that the Nima is not FDA approved so therefore not reliable. A very poor response, in my opinion. My stomach and toilet agree- the dish was definitively *not* gluten free.

10/ 2019. They try, but two out of four dishes tested positive for gluten with a NIMA. They were adamant that all of the ingredients were gluten free and the manager came out to speak with us. We think it might be in the spices. Only the dishes without paprika tested ok to eat. On the upside, they didn’t charge us for the dish I could finally eat. (All of the dishes were labeled GF. )
Pricey. Also not celiac friendly as they stated that ALL gluten free items are produced in a facility with wheat. Celiacs symptoms or lack of symptoms is not helpful as celiacs can be activated and cause damage, without presenting any symptoms, after ingesting as little as 1.5 breadcrumbs. Even though they take care in regards to cross contamination the fact that its all exposed to wheat makes it not celiac safe. Good for those who don’t need 100% gf though.

Delicious, safe options. Very busy restaurant. Dedicated fryer. I had the chicken curry while my husband had the jerk chicken. Both delicious. A little pricey

Every time I have requested the gluten free options, I have received amazing service and excellent food.
They also have some great gluten free bakery items to go which is a rarity in Duluth, Minnesota.
The food is always great and mostly locally sourced which makes going 3 times as nice.
Sara’s Table has many safe gluten free menu items, I am supporting a locally owned business and using many locally sourced fresh products.
Salads, burgers, sandwiches, smoked salmon plate; all excellent without a complaint!

First I want to start by saying the food was fine. My biggest problem was with the price. They charged $17.50 for a grilled cheese and a cup of soup. It’s crazy. I really don’t think it’s right to charge $15 for a sandwich then charge another $2.50 for GF bread.
Normally I don’t have a problem with a small up charge but not when the price of the item is already rather high.
I don’t think we will be back.
P.S. their GF brownies and cookies aren’t very good. Very disappointed with them.
Did not go but a local recommended it to us saying it was her favorite place to eat in Duluth.
GF & Vegan options. Staff was very helpful and confident in products being safe.👍

fabulous! love that they have items like bread and pies to take home!

We stopped here based on the fantastic reviews, however, it was not exactly kid friendly. Yes, the food was gluten free and they were very knowledgeable. The food choices were a little out of the box for my 5 and 9 year old. Lots of items on the menu I couldn't even pronounce let alone have any idea what they even were. Again, it was just maybe a little to yuppy for our taste.

Excellent. I was amazed at how good the bread was (which they make fresh) and bought a couple loaves to take home.
Absolutely amazing food and they know how to care for celiacs and so many GF options.

Amazing food! Bread is homemade and same with fries. Dedicated fryer also. Highly recommend this place. Waitress told me that most of the workers have celiac and are either gf or vegan or both! So they are very knowledgeable.

Great GF food options. Had the GBLT sandwich..was so good we came bk again while on vacation. Wait staff was knowledge and friendly.
There were SO many gluten free options and I felt like the food was prepared with integrity. The menu even had separate labels for things that were naturally gluten free and things that could be altered to gluten free. I had the fish tacos which were delicious.

The menu has a good and varied selection of gluten free options as well as vegetarian/vegan options. They only use local grown, organic, cage free, hormone free eggs and try to use organic, locally grown, sustainably harvested vegetables and meat when possible. They have a meat free and gluten free fryer that uses peanut oil. All gluten free products are produced in facilities that handle wheat. All around delicious and unique food choices. The restaurant has a small town, homey feel with a very friendly staff.
Great food and gluten free friendly.
