Food was great and I didn't get sick. Went to eat tonight and found out they have an updated GF (celiac) menu and now hove garlic mashed potatoes as a safe option. I got the mashed potatoes and smash burger. Great food but busy even on a cool January evening we had to wait 30 min. Worth the wait but just plan ahead.

Has separate vegan menu, gluten sensitive menu, and a celiac menu! I had the celiac smashburger (without cheese due to dairy allergy) and it was DELICIOUS! Probably the best burger I’ve had. Had to sub out the coleslaw for a house salad with vinaigrette (coleslaw has dairy) but it was good too! Our waiter was great about my allergies. Highly recommend!

Great experience at Scout and Scholar! They have a gluten free menu that is divided into Celiac and gluten free due to preference. I felt very confident in their knowledge. I had the smash burger with cole slaw and a watermelon cocktail! It’s a popular place so you may need to wait during busy times.

I asked about a dedicated fryer but they don't have one. I had the shrimp and grits. There are no gluten products in that dish, and they baked my grit cakes to keep me from getting cross contaminated. Both the food and service were excellent. I had hibiscus mead and it was also amazing.

Staff were pretty knowledgeable, food was delish. One danger point is that the burger was marked as GF option but not marked that the onion ring is fried in the same oil, got raw instead. Very good overall.

The owner/chef came to the table and talked me through the GF options. He is well versed and took our order personally and oversaw the prep of all my food. I chose the kale salad and the angus burger with grilled Udi’s bun. We also tried the smoked cauliflower. Everything was delish!!

This was our first visit here. The chef came out to ask if I was celiac or sensitive to gluten. He throughly discussed the menu and what he could make for me. Everything was yummy. I had the burger with udi bun and the German potatoe salad. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have been to many breweries and restaurants, but this was by far the best experience we have had in terms of celiac friendly food. The chef was incredible, and he came out and thoroughly explained the menu options available. He has family members that are celiac, so I felt very confident that there would be no cross-contamination. The food was also amazing, and we loved everything we tried.They are also currently working on remodeling their kitchen to allow for a dedicated gluten-free fryer. We will definitely be making a trip back when this is finished.
