The pizza is very good, and it was a treat to be able to have gluten free deep dish pizza! The owner recommended coming around the time they open, to beat the crowd and avoid possible cross contamination.

Great experience. Came with friends who aren’t celiac and didn’t expect to be able to order. Manager mentioned they make gluten free pizzas in the walk in to limit CC (so no flour around). He also used all fresh ingredients that weren’t yet opened and baked in an oven that wasn’t used yet on trays that haven’t been used as well. He also mentioned they cut the pizzas with new knives so no CC there

Call your order in ahead, as it takes around 45 min to make the pizza.
The owner of the establishment was very friendly and helpful in explaining what my options were. I was able to have a rice crust pizza with dairy free cheese (Follow Your Heart) and the topping are piled high. It was delicious. If I am ever back this way, this will definitely be on my stops.

Celiac husband and I ate here yesterday. Ordered our GF pizza on the way down from Schweitzer (good idea since takes 45 min to prepare). Had zero issues explaining celiac disease and the need for GF pizza and changing gloves, etc. Ordered half ‘You Name it Combo’ and half ‘Ski Flake’. Pizza was ready shortly after we arrived. It was piled high with tons of toppings. We were hungry but could only eat 6/8 slices and brought the rest home. So good! Also had Ghostfish GF beer on tap and in can, plus a GF hard cider. Celiac husband (very sensitive) had no issues, so we will return again soon! Pizza is made with a premade frozen pizza crust that comes with its own pan. Brand name ‘Rich’s’ and I have bought them at Cash’n Carry in Spokane.

They do have rice crust, small size, but call ahead to make sure they have it. In fact, calling your order in ahead is a good idea as they have great, wood fired pizza but it does take a while to dine in.
Biggest and best gluten free pizza we have ever had!!!

We decided to give Second Avenue Pizza a try after reading great reviews from others. It was a 45min-1hr wait, but we weren’t in a hurry. We couldn’t believe our eyes when our pizza arrived. We had Canadian bacon, pineapple and olives. There must have been a whole can of pineapples and a can of olives on it! My teenage son and I were stuffed after 2 slices each and still had 1/2 a pizza left to take home. The crust had the taste and texture of real gluten crust. What a treat! The owner was wonderful - she talked to us about how she takes cross-contamination very seriously. She said the crust comes pre-made in its own pan and she opens new toppings that haven’t been previously handled. She said she has a friend with celiac and understands the seriousness.

This is the best gluten free pizza I think I have ever had! Normally I get a super thin crust pizza but this one was thicker. I did a double take when I saw it because it looked normal. I had to look really closely and really concentrate on the taste to verify that it was safe. Indeed it was :-). The crust is gluten free and vegan and they have soy cheese. We got the all meat pizza. It was delicious!
Excellent pizza!!!! Rice crust is delicious! Soy cheese also available.
