Good food. No symptoms of cross-contamination.
I used the kiosk to create my order, and it guided me as to which items contained gluten. When I was ready to submit it, the kiosk prompted me to wait for a server to verify that my selections were gluten free. The food was delicious, and I had no bad effects.
Ordering is done by you on a tablet, so no chance of messing up the order. They have separate entry for gluten and wheat when checking off the allergy list, and when you flag them, a staff would come check your order to make sure that what you ordered are indeed OK with your need. GF buns were delicious and so was the burger great for semi-fast food.
Notes
Most Shake Shack locations offer gluten-free buns for burgers. A lettuce wrap is also an option.

The GF buns are tasty. They told me the GF buns are warmed on the griddle where they do the meat and cheese. The gluten buns warmed in a separate area. I didn’t get sick. The fries share a fryer with gluten so no fries.

There is NOT a dedicated fryer. They do have gf buns and lettuce wraps.

Took my two celiac daughters to lunch. One got a hamburger with a lettuce wrap, the other wanted a veggie burger with a GF bun. The manager came over and said that veggie burger has gluten in it, and the fries share a fryer with breaded chicken. My daughter had lemonade. 😢
