I feel safe here. The burgers are as good as I’ve had, even though they’re thin. I have never had such delicious gluten free buns-no off taste and normal texture. I asked and they’re Italian Bakery brand. Separate fryer for the fries, though they are designated “gluten friendly”. Food was brought out separately and server specifically stated it was gluten free. Staff seemed knowledgeable. I only get burger and fries here so I can’t speak to other items.
Most Shake Shack locations offer gluten-free buns for burgers. A lettuce wrap is also an option.
Fries are not GF for celiacs, but are fine for GF sensitive. Burger was great, they took excellent precautions.
The guy asked if my gluten free request was a preference or an allergy. After he said that, I felt this place took it seriously. I got a GF burger for my little girl. When they called me up to pick up my order, the manager told me how carefully they prepared my daughter's hamburger. They also put it in a separate tray so it wouldn't touch the other food I ordered. She loved it! Unfortunately, the French fries shared the same fryer.
GF bun available, bit dry but not too bad. The burger itself was pretty good. Was told the GF bun is toasted separately from the regular buns. I spoke to someone at the counter and they gave the kitchen a heads up there was an allergy order coming up. You can order on the kiosk and add allergy instructions. There is a protocol they are supposed to follow for allergy orders. Sadly no dedicated fryer.
