Meh for taste. But they are very cautious end have separate kitchen area for gluten free.

Noodles are not good. Yes it’s gluten free but this is not actual pasta it’s rice mush with sub par sauce.

Never ever been sick and I’ve been here so many times. I love how they signify it’s gluten free so when it comes to the table I don’t have to ask. They also know NOT to put bread on your bowl!
Decided to give them another shot after our horrible experience a few months ago. Nothing has changed. They refuse to make you a salad in the back. Crazy since they charge you for a salad. It’s hard because other people cross contaminate it with pasta salad and other things... this used to be one of my favorite places until they started refusing to make my salad in the back.

Gluten-free pasta! Unlimited! All salad dressings are gluten-free. I’d definitely go back!

Spaghetti Works has a great gluten-free menu for pasta options. I frequently dine. They serve all pastas with rice noodles and have a couple different sauces and additions to choose from. I add sausage to my pasta. The portions are not large. If your waiter/waitress doesn't inform you, make sure to ask for all you can eat pasta. It is included. I ate from the salad bar and was just fine - obviously use your best judgement on things like croutons, cheese, and bacon bits. All salad dressings are GF. I have Celiac Disease and had no problems eating at Spaghetti Works. Definitely good option for gluten free!

The salad bar was just ok but the pasta was really good and unlimited as stated in other reviews. I would definitely go back.
This restaurant gives you great value for the price. My GF spaghetti was bottomless, and the meals (even kids) included salad bar.
Great spaghetti. Meal was very good, did not have any problems and waitress seemed educated. Not super fond of the salad bar concept because of cross-contact, but felt very confident of my pasta.
The GF menu has shrunk since a year ago when I was there, a couple options only. The only salad offered (included with the meal) is at the salad bar, so CC is highly likely. Even without eating from the salad bar, was still glutened. It seems this section of the menu has lost priority.
Great menu options and polite staff.
Had a great experience here for my sons birthday. Good pasta dishes and sauces. This place seems to know their stuff about safely serving gluten free. Knowledgable staff. Each time my food came out someone separate brought it and clearly stated it was gf. The salad bar is a bit of a gamble. It would be nice to see them come up with another option, maybe a salad from the kitchen. I have Celiac and felt comfortable here and had no reaction. Great place.
Easy downtown location. Great food. Waitress knew to tell the kitchen we were GF so they could set up to avoid cross contamination. Also the price was good. We will return when in Des Moines.
Excellent gf menu, and very knowledgable staff. Pasta, chicken fingers, and pizza all gf.

Great GF section on the menu with Pizza, pasta and chicken nuggets. I didn't try the pasta, but the pizza was good.
They have a GF menu with pizza, pasta, and chicken tenders. The pasta is angel hair made from rice and it is the greatest. You're able to get up to three different sauces on it and the GF ones are labeled. Portions are small but you get free pasta refills! The meal also comes with a salad bar. All their dressings are GF. They also make Italian sodas with 20+ different flavors. It has a very cute location in the downtown area next to the capital building, which is great for travelers who don't know the area. AND THEY ARE OPEN ON SUNDAYS, which I guess is rare in this area since nothing else was. I highly recommend!
GF options are pretty limited. Rice pasta with choice of sauce or GF ravioli. Sausage and shrimp were the only meat options. I ordered the gluten free pasta with the pesto cream sauce. Waitress marked as allergy and confirmed the pasta was boiled in separate water. overall a good experience!

The pasta that was gluten free was not good at all. Paste is what it tastes like. There is no reason for this as there are so many brands of great GF pasta out there

My allergy is to wheat. Wait staff says they have separate water and a separate area for the pasta and different pans. Hostess couldn’t answer any questions about the gluten free options but wait staff were very knowledgeable. I ordered the pasta with the original sauce. My pasta was Delicious!!! I would eat here again soon!
