Pizza, jalapeño poppers, wings all GF - no issues from gluten intolerance. The wings were amazingly delicious! But then, so was everything else our group ordered. Will definitely return! Thank you, Squarz

I have eaten here several times (mostly carry out) and have never gotten sick. They have a good selection of gluten free pizza and other menu options that have all been good. They always understand when I ask for gluten free and to take appropriate precautions for celiac. Love this place, because I can always feel confident that it’s safe. Several of my family members have even said that the gluten free pizza is even better than the regular pizza

Very disappointed in Squarz Pizza & Restaurant. Website listed opening at 11 am today, but door was locked. Called at noon when door was still locked and was told that they open at noon. Waited and still no answer at the door. Called a second time to confirm and was told they now open at 1pm. Left and went somewhere else. If they can’t be consistent with their hours, it makes me question how responsible they will be with the food.

We've eaten here about once a year for the past several years without issue. I ordered the gluten free pizza and the wings, and got very sick. I don't know if there was serious cross contamination (it doesn't usually bother me much), but something was wrong. We won't be returning.

This is the best place for someone with celiac. No cross contamination and delicious food. My son loves the buffalo chicken dip with chips and pizza! Try it out if you’re in the area.

Intending on getting pizza, I inquired about gluten free pizza for medical necessity and the hostess answered that the could accommodate that. She said they shut the kitchen down when preparing an order with an allergen warning. Asking further about cross contamination, the hostess said they do not use, nor have they ever used, a separate sauce for gf pizza. The same sauce is used as for wheat flour crust pizzas, but that the temp in the pizza oven would burn off any gluten contamination. Since a dietician told me after I was diagnosed with Celiac disease that gluten is not heat labile, I chose not to try a pizza from this establishment. Asking about other gf menu options, the hostess offered that the wings were on special and are baked/grilled, not fried. All the sauce choices are gf. Other gf menus options, of which there were multiple, are designated on the menu with GFA (gluten free available). They actually have gf crab cakes that are entirely made of crab meat. In my experience, this is rare. I ended up with wings with Honey Plum glaze and a house salad with vinaigrette dressing. Their ranch and blue cheese dressings are also gf. The wings were good, but had some burned skin that was inedible. There are 2 gf desert options: flourless chocolate cake/torte- with or without peanut butter. My husband and I shared a piece and it was delicious. Overall, it was a positive gf dining experience, until I got back to the table from washing my hands. My husband stood up, told me to get my coat and leave immediately. After the door shut behind me, he told me that he saw a cockroach run out from under our table and across the floor. We will not be returning.

My daughter liked her GF pizza and I liked that they had a few options on the menu that could be made GF as well. I forgot to take a picture but I remember almost all their small plates/appetizers had a symbol stating it could be made GF except the cheesy bread. Her pizza took longer to cook(which we all know it does) but that caused our waitress to explain its because they put it in the oven alone — without other gluten filled items so that’s good!

The best gf pizza I have ever had! Crispy crust that you can actually pick up. Quite a few options. My family enjoyed their non-gf items as well. Going there our 2nd time, 2 days in a row.

This was literally the BEST restaurant experience I have had since becoming gluten free. When I called to place my order I was told that they take gluten allergies VERY seriously and actually shut the whole kitchen down to clean everything, get new ladles, etc. The person taking our order was very pleasant, caring and knowledgeable. The food was prepared fast and it was delicious! We ordered the wings, stuffed jalepenos, crab & shrimp dip, pizza and chocolate cake. Not only was the whole experience wonderful with ordering and eating, but I couldn't believe that the woman who took my order actually called us the following day to make sure that we not only enjoyed our meal, but that we didn't have any problems with contamination or anything at all! I couldn't believe they cared enough to check up on us and make sure we were OK and happy (and we were both). I cannot recommend this place enough!!! I just wish we had one of these by our home.....we would dine there regularly!

Absolutely positively recommend going here. They have soooo many options and everything was delicious. Even the non gluten free food was delicious according to my family❤. I definitely plan on coming here every time I visit oc!

So many gluten free options!!! The nachos were 10/10, their homemade pizza was better than any gluten free pizza I’ve ever had, and their peanut butter chocolate decadent cake was amazing. Definitely going to stop here every time I come to Ocean City, Maryland. I highly HIGHLY recommend this place for people who are gluten free and even those who aren’t.

Best wings I’ve EVER had. The buffalo wings. Oh my gosh. I ordered them two nights in a row. I ordered take out over the phone and the woman I spoke with was so knowledgeable. She said they clean the prep areas when you order gluten free. The pizza was delicious too. I ordered the Chesapeake pizza and the gluten free crust was pretty good. Definitely coming back here every time I’m in OC.

Got the veggie pizza and wings. Wasn’t so certain how it would go as I am very sensitive, but no sickness here. Pizza was very good.

We ate here last night and tried 3 different GF pizzas. They were amazing!! The crust was fabulous! The place was really cute inside too and our waitress was so sweet. My daughter who is celiac said,”This is the best place ever! Can we come back every day!” They also had some salads and wings and other foods that were GF. We will definitely be back!

We have gluten allergies. We ordered the meat lover and plain. They ask that you leave an extra 10 mins for the gluten free because they prepare it fresh and sanitize. Pizza was excellent! Kids were so happy to have a good pizza that didn't make them itchy.

I went during a slow time in the off season and was assured they would take steps to prevent cross-contamination (glove change, separate utensils/cooking dish, etc). I am really sensitive to cc. I went yesterday and still feel great so I feel pretty safe writing this review.

The pizza was great! The GF crust is still more like a flatbread than a pizza but I didn’t care because it was so good. I ordered The Chesapeake, which doesn’t have a heavy red sauce and allowed the flavor of the crust and other ingredients to really shine. They had a lot of other great GF items like baked Brie and crab dip. I’ll definitely be back for the pizza and to try the other items they have.

What a find!!! Amazing house-made GF crust!!! So many options for customizing a crust with texture and flavor!! Knowledgeable and friendly family restaurant!! Decadent chocolate cake is a slice of chocolate heaven in a flourless chocolate ganache cake!!!! A must-visit stop just blocks from the beach!! Also loved the clean and somewhat industrial setting! Watermelon crush was a wonderful taste of summer!!!!

Darren the owner is incredibly nice. He’s been open about three years. The gluten free pizza is his own recipe and was great. Nice crispy crust, doesn’t have the cardboard taste so many gf pizzas have. They use fresh gloves and cook in a separate tray. Create your own or speciality pizzas can both be made gf. Apps are marked gf, including meatballs. He mentioned that in the off season he also does gluten free pastas, including lasagna. Very good!

The service was great/the drinks were also great We ordered 2 apps-my husband said they were gluten free- the jalapeño poppers were really good/the meatballs came with bread on the plate I ordered pizza - I believe the crust was frozen when they put on the toppings because the crust still tasted raw- they put it back in the oven and the top of the crust got cooked-inside was still gummy

delicious, best crust I have had in a while...

I've been in search for a gluten free pizza as good as the one i make at home. i have found it at Squarz!! I can totally tell when the crust is frozen but this was not! Celiacs rejoice!
