My husband and I have decided that we will have try every menu item before we move away. I ate waffles and fried chicken, ya’ll! This place is seriously delicious. Everyone working there was so kind. This place is a dream come true for celiacs. We will be back again and again.

One of the waitress has Celiac so they definitely take GF seriously. Up and beyond staff as the waitress went back and forth multiple times for me as I have more then gluten intolerance. Sadly, this ended up limiting my choices by alot--if you are also allergies to garlic you CANNOT eat any of the meat as they marinate it in sauce with garlic. That being said the meal I did have that was safe even for me was the omelette three cheese and veggie mixed with a side of fries. It was delicious! And large portions! Will definitely be going back there!

The menu said to ask the server about gluten free but it turns out the entire menu is gluten free. Amazingly delicious. From Chicken and waffles, tacos, honey walnut shrimp, beef rolls to the incredible desserts. They mentioned they are moving to a bigger place and I’m excited to see it. They deserve the top notch building to showcase their mouthwatering menu. I’m celiac so this place is heaven sent.

Server was very knowledgeable, she is also Celiac. Assured us that this is a dedicated GF facility. Food was really good. Had Queso Fundo and Street corn for appetizers. Both were great. Ordered taco flight, honey walnut shrimp, and a pork belly bowl. All 3 of us enjoyed our meal. Split a dessert of churro bread pudding. Great food, great service. Can't wait to come to San Antonio again and eat here.

Just do it! So good I went back for dinner after going there for lunch. I was leaving for Dallas the next day and wanted to try more of their amazing food. Queso funding was amazing. The cheesy polenta pork belly was fantastic. Waiting for my chicken and waffles now!

Just go... Worth an hour drive and be prepared for a great experience. It's not the best atmosphere but it is some of the BEST GF food I've ever had and I've been GF for 12 years.. service was top notch. PLEASE get the French toast best... The best... Everything my husband and I ate here was delicious! They even make their own tea and hibiscus lemonade! Our waitress is also celiac, and she assured me it is a dedicated GF establishment, and eats there all the time. We went during Sunday brunch, and I believe there's a different dinner menu (but could be mistaken). We had the steak fries and barbacoa chilaquiles, with two hibiscus lemonades (free refills). I'm excited to have found and finally eaten here, but am sad we live on the other side of town. Will definitely be back!

I had searched for a dedicated gluten-free restaurant to try during our recent trip to San Antonio to visit family. I tried out Stixs and Stone with members of my extended family, and in our group of twelve, aged 1 through 70 with two celiacs (myself and my oldest son), everyone left happy. Neither celiac had a reaction to gluten, and everyone (including those accustomed to "regular" food) spoke highly of the unique flavors. Of the dishes that I personally tasted, the barbacoa chilaquiles were particularly excellent, and I also quite enjoyed the pork belly delight, chorizo empanadas, fried chicken on sweet potato waffle (and I don't even really like sweet potato), and brioche french toast (which may have been the fluffiest gluten-free bread I've ever had).

Everything was so good that my husband and I came back later the same week to celebrate our anniversary. The sesame chicken and the duck with hibiscus mole did not disappoint, but the MVP of the meal was the Korean fried cauliflower appetizer.

On our way out the second time, we spoke with Chef Leo and his sister Michelle (an excellent hostess, BTW) and advised them that we would be very disappointed if they weren't in business the next time we came back. The chef mentioned how his sister's celiac disease was one of the inspirations behind the "gluten-freeness" of the restaurant. It's a true family affair - the best kind of restaurant to patronize, IMO.

One more thing - the printed menus say "gluten-free options available," which got us scared that they may not be dedicated gluten-free after all. But we asked, and were assured that there is no gluten in the joint.

Visiting the city and thanks to this app found this gem of a place. (It is a hike in the wall in a little strip mall FYI.) Everything folks say was my experience as well. All GF, casual, chill vibe, delicious food.

What a quaint place! 100% gluten free menu. Our server is was very knowledgeable and told us she has Celiac disease, so she understands. Food was great! So happy we found this place while visiting San Antonio!

My absolute favorite. I've tried many things on the menu and everything is so good. They have special menus for Sunday brunch, taco Thursday, holidays, and Lent if that's your thing. Chef Leo nails Asian-Mexican fusion using the best ingredients. Michelle, the manager, has celiac herself and is impossibly cheerful and friendly. She even chatted with us about other restaurants in town where she feels safe eating! My favorite dishes here are the French toast, the award winning taco flight, the chorizo-mushroom taco, and the pork belly cheesy polenta - heck, ANYTHING with the pork belly is amazing. Any time I'm depressed about celiac, I take myself to S&S and feel better.

This place is a little slice of heaven. Fantastic flavors across the entire menu. Dedicated Gluten Free kitchen too so everything is safe. No stone is worth leaving unturned at this fantastic eatery. Had the distinct privilege of a three-course meal here last night. Most of our party had never eaten at a dedicated gluten free restaurant before and they were blown away by the unique flavors and quality of food. We shared the cauliflower and cucumbers as appetizers, and sampled the chicken on a stick, japchae, kimchi bowl, tres leches and churro bread pudding. All were phenomenal. If I’m ever in San Antonio (or even Austin), I’ll go out of my way to eat here.

Dedicated gluten free restaurant. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with anything on the menu. So flavorful and creative. You wouldn’t know this place is gluten free by the taste. Tender meats. My husband usually won’t even try gluten free desserts and he loved the churro bread pudding. It’s small with a small staff and I have a feeling they’re in a growth spurt but they are handling it well so if you have to wait a while to be seated or to get your food please know it is worth the wait!

I signed up just to leave a positive review! My wife is gluten intolerant and I am a sensitive celiac. We have been in San Antonio for a few days and have tried several restaurants that looked safe and this is a hidden gem that I am so happy to recommend to anyone! The food is phenomenal and it’s so refreshing to be able to order anything on the menu. In addition to the fantastic food, I enjoyed the atmosphere as it was quiet enough that we could enjoy a conversation. The service was as good as the food. Very warm and inviting.

So so so good. Everything is GF even though their menu says to ask the server about GF options. They did that to attract people who would never go to a GF restaurant. Tons of choices and everything was amazing. Owned by a sister with Celiac and a brother (a chef) with a gluten intolerance, they are in the top 3 GF restaurants I have ever gone to. The sticky ribs are to die for! Too bad we found them on our last night in town or we would be back over and over.

I am so grateful to this app for finding this wonderful restaurant. Made it a priority to go while on vacation because of all the great reviews. They are absolutely legit! Everything we had was beyond fantastic. I'm a foodie who knows how to cook well, but I just get tired having to make everything gluten free myself. I spoke with our very hospitable server, who is celiac and happens to be the sister of the owner and chef, who is non celiac gluten sensitive. The chef went through culinary school before he realized he was gluten intolerant so he had to relearn how to cook and bake without gluten. Everything we ate, from appetizer to entrees to dessert tasted absolutely incredible. Food presentation was gorgeous, very high end, and as others have mentioned, it's a tiny little restaurant in a strip mall. I did ask the sister/server about some confusion with the menu stating that you should ask server for gluten-free options available. She did explain that the entire kitchen and menu are absolutely gluten free, but they put that clause at the bottom so people wouldn't have to feel uncomfortable about being gluten free. I didn't quite understand her logic, but it was important to her and the food is absolutely worth it! Chicken and waffles, spicy crispy cauliflower, and the smoked pork belly bowl, aand churro bread pudding are all unbelievably tasty! !I'm so sad we don't live in San Antonio!
