We tried GF items and also items with gluten. They were all amazing! My son has Celiac and was in love with the taste. They have a good variety of items. However I saw several times when the staff did not change gloves properly and there was cross contamination.
We’ve been here quite a few times. The staff used to be very careful about CC. However the last time we went (which was a few days ago), I watched numerous times the staff would grab donuts and then get GF items without changing gloves. Even after telling them about my allergies, they put my GF coffee cake on the counter as another staff member was putting donuts right next to them. I would maybe understand if they were busy but they weren’t at the time. I did also notice it was all new staff so maybe they need extra training or reminders to take celiac seriously?
Oh boy is this good. There were at least 6 gf options including gf coffee cake, lemon poppy cake and snickerdoodle cake. So light - in a taste test, no way could you tell these are gf. Sweet staff, quaint Riverside location. Highly recommend!
Lots of GF options that taste amazing! Really they told me the only none GF items were the donuts and biscuits which was fine with me because they had so many other things to choose from! The "Bonuts" are killer so beware because you may end up eating way more then one like I did.
First time seeing an ENTIRE bakery case of gluten-free baked goods!! Every single one looked better than the last. Streusel coffee cakes were amazing, and banana loaf was the best we'd ever eaten. Your non-gf family members will love the giant donuts and the cinnamon rolls are the Best. In. The. World!! (Not an exaggeration.). My only frustration: there are only 5 stars available for this review. I needed an entire galaxy for true representation.
Hands down some of the best gluten-free baked goods I've ever had. Enjoyed a slice of their lemon poppyseed loaf, gingerbread muffin, blueberry muffin, and gingerbread cookies. All products are vegan and most of them are gluten-free. Treats are separated to prevent cross contamination. Really very good food. Personally wish they would use dairy or nuts, but understand reasons not to. Food was great even though it was dairy free! Tried the chocolate chip coffee cake and a super chocolate-y cupcake and both were yummy.Very good GF selection as well.
I love this bakery. In all of my travels this is among my top two favorites. I don't know how they can make an all allergen free treat taste oh so good! Now, if they could only make those gorgeous donuts GF, SF, etc., then I think I would have to move to Jacksonville.
