Dang, did my research and I got burned.
Though I had expected it to be slow, this place was pretty busy at 1pm on a Friday from graduation parties, and short staffed b/c one server hadn’t come in.
They gave me a gluten free menu, which is normally a very good sign that a resultant cares. I ordered and was very clear that it was an allergy and not a preference.
I got the “Avalon” bison burger (dressed with various cheeses and onions fried in bacon grease) with gluten free bun and fries. I ate the fries first (they have a dedicated fryer) and felt okay, ate the burger and then got rather ill.
I suspect there was cross contamination with the bun, which was toasted. The server said they had a dedicated toaster, but I suspect that someone forgot to change gloves when collecting the buns or something happened with the onions.
I’m quite sensitive, steer clear of this place if you are too.

What a gem of a restaurant with knowledgeable, kind, and attentive staff. We would definitely come back!
I had a bison cheeseburger and fries that are fried in a separate fryer.
We highly recommend.

We’ve been searching for a gluten free friendly restaurant and i was blown away with the service we received today at the Kennesaw establishment. We rarely go out to eat due to hidden allergies at restaurants, but they went above and beyond to help my daughter enjoy a delish meal.
— Yes, the establishment is dedicated gluten-free

Enjoyed a really good burger on a gf roll and a large plate of gf fries. Most items on the regular menu were also on the separate gf menu.

They have separate gluten-free menu. I've eaten here atleast 3 times and haven't been sick. I always enjoy my meal, but others in my party have had issues with the food (not celiac related). I always get the green and hot bison burger with the gluten-free bun and side of fries. I love that they have a dedicated fryer. The service is usually very good as well.

I brought my Nima sensor tonight and tested my burger. I got the “green and hot” burger and it came back with gluten found. I had told my server prior to ordering that I had a severe gluten allergy (celiac) and he assured me that he would tell the kitchen. After testing my food my server got the manager. The manager was super nice and she made sure that the kitchen took all of the precautions the second time around. I didn’t get sick after, but I am super thankful that I had my Nima sensor or else I would have gotten super sick.
No
Dedicated GF menu. Cedar plank salmon was great. Served my potatoes with gravy on the side, which should have just been left off the plate. Still, overall a good experience!! Did not get sick. Service was super attentive and well-paced.
We had bison burgers on gluten free buns with French fries (cooked in a dedicated fryer). We did not get sick! These folks are part of the sustainability movement as well, an added plus.

We travel North from FL to KY/WV several times a year. Kennesaw is our normal overnight stopping point. I was thrilled to find Ted's. Great gluten free menu.
Yes
Gluten free buns and a dedicated fryer for their french fries. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and I didn't get sick. Will definitely be back for another awesome burger!
Good gluten free menu, but the Delmonico steak was loaded with gristle.

The food was DELICIOUS!!! I am always nervous about eating out due to cross contamination but they are very knowledgeable and take special care in preparing the food, plus everything is cooked fresh (an added bonus). Great cozy atmosphere, great service, SUPERB food! LOVE IT!

Been here 3 times . Did not het sick .Very good will be back.
Very good gluten free menu with lots of options. The server was very knowledgable and answered all my questions. Coming here again soon!!
I've always had good experiences here and never gotten sick at this location.
I love getting bison burgers with no bun here. They also will cover the grill in foil if you mention you have an allergy.
They were AMAZING! When we were seated we asked for a gf menu. Our waitress made it a point to ask if we were gf for health reasons or by choice. It was nice! Usually people assume it's by choice, but she made sure to make sure everything was separated out because of my celiac disease! They were even very attentive for being so busy! Definitely will be back!

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience. Just wanted the big sky salad with salmon off the gluten free menu. Side of fries which was great so that gets 2 stars. Salad came with croutons from a different wait person who didn't care so much. Our waiter did bring me a new one but this one had cheese which is also asked about because I have a dairy allergy. At this point they're never brought husband his mustard and we had to flag down the hostess to help get a new salad. Manager comes and asks if she can use same salmon because it will take long. I'm not anaphylactic and I check it and say sure, it's not touching cheese. We'll I finally get my salad no croutons and no cheese. The salmon was half raw. I ate around the raw middle - so hungry. Manager had already Said she'd comp my salad but what a disaster. There was nothing to indicate my food was allergy friendly. Servers who brought food out had no idea. Just not many protocols in place to verify what they are serving. But I would bring my daughter for the fries if we traveled here again but my husband wasn't impressed with his burger so it wouldn't be for the food.

The waiter was very knowledgeable about cross contact and even stopped by after I had started eating to make sure everything was okay and I wasn't having any issues. Before I could even ask, she offered to have them cook my meal in a clean pan or on foil.
I can't say for sure that it was 100% safe since I'm fairly asymptomatic celiac but I felt very comfortable eating there and had a high confidence that my food was safe.

I ordered a salad without the croutons and added grilled chicken. I haven't had a reaction. The waiter seemed knowledgeable about allergies and said that my food would be handled carefully. It did take a long time to get our food, but the salad was good.
