Y’all, Delaware is shit when it comes to food overall. Trying to find a place that’s gluten-free and half-decent is almost impossible. But then there’s Ted’s, which is actually pretty good! It’s a solid choice for both the gluten-free crowd and those without restrictions.
My husband and I have gone back several times because it’s safe and tastes pretty damn good! I always order a chicken burger. Sure, it’s an Udi’s bun, but they at least toast it!
When I am craving for gluten free burger and fries and travelling south, we go to Ted’s Montana Grill. Great food and service!
Large GF menu, waiter seemed very knowledgeable about GF safety and food was very good. Felt comfortable eating here.

Safe protocols and well trained staff. They have a seperate gluten free menu and are able to answers any questions about it. As well as reassuring me the fryer is dedicated without even being asked.
Separate fryer. Nachos are delish! And burgers are huge. Very knowledgeable about precautions.
I ordered a bison burger and fries, nothing fancy, but it was delicious. I felt safe eating there and felt fine afterwards.
Have a separate GF menu. Really good food, both the gluten-free bun and the ordinary ones.
Another great lunch at Ted’s. My grilled chicken was terrific and the fries from a dedicated fryer were delicious. Stacey our server, was knowledgeable and took good care of me and my non-GF family. Great GF menu! I had no problems and would return!
Update: We had a family dinner and the safety, service and food were all excellent. Great care was taken with my order. The nachos were outstanding and burgers terrific. The fries are still prepared in a dedicated fryer. This is one of my “go to” places, for sure.

Gluten free menu, delicious burgers where you can sub a GF bun, separate fryer, great fries..my 11 year old twins were huge fans. One is super sensitive with her celiac, she had nachos and some fries, she has yet to eat out and not get sick..well this place has won her heart..no reaction and loved her huge plate of nachos! My other daughter had a GF burger and her eyes lit up when she bit into it. We will definitely be going back.
GF items are marked on the regular menu and a separate GF menu is also available. They have a dedicated fryer for French fries. Per the manager, employees change gloves before preparing GF orders and grilled items are placed on foil to prevent direct contact with the grill. The GF bun was decent and didn’t fall apart. I’m very sensitive to cross contamination and have eaten here many times without issue.
The gluten free menu had more items than most places. I tried their gluten free bun with a burger and the bun was actually good. I’ll definitely be going back.
This is such a cute little grill! They have a separate gluten free menu (a little small, salads and burgers but they do offer a GF bun). I’m extremely sensitive to cross contamination and our waitress was well informed! There’s a separate kitchen area as well as a separate fryer so I was able to have French fries! Best part of the day :) food was good too. Glad to find a safe to eat place in DE!
They have a separate GF menu with a lot of choices. Everything was delicious for my family of five. We even sat outside with our puppy and they gave her water and treats! The fries and chips are made in a dedicated fryer and are delicious! Our server and the manager were excellent. A perfect choice for celiacs!

The food is good. I really enjoy the naked burger which is naturally gf because it doesn’t come with a bun. But the fries are also in a dedicated fryer which is great.
Great experience and did not get sick. Waitress was very knowledgeable and understanding!

I’ve eaten here twice now without an issue. They have a dedicated gluten-free fryer just for French fries (they use canola oil to fry.) No-bun beef or bison burgers are safe because they only use 100% meat — no fillers such as flour or eggs. Staff seems knowledgeable and understanding about cross-contamination.
Great dinner. Dedicated gluten free menu. Staff was knowledgeable about attentive to celiac. We’ll be back.
Ted’s had a separate menu and dedicated fryer for their French fries - both I’m a fan of! Anything from a pretty good burger on an Udis roll to a salad.
I can’t say it was cross contaminated for sure but within an hour of eating there I felt absolutely horrible. I would never return.

Looking for a really good burger, with a pretty decent GF bun and fries cooked in a dedicated fryer... this is the place. Highly recommend!
I’m currently here. They have a separate gf menu & take gf folks seriously. They have a separate fryer for their fries. The steak & fryers were delicious. We each ordered the Parmesan broccoli & it tasted funny. When we said something we were told it’s cooked together in the same broiler as the salmon. I hate seafood which is why it tasted funny. My husband who likes seafood didn’t like it either. You can ask for it to be cooked separately. A little pricey but worth it. If I get sick, I’ll change my rating.
Had a burger and fries off their gluten free menu and they were great. Definitely going back!
Best burger and gluten free bun. The bun did not fall apart like other places. Staff was knowledgeable of gluten free menu. Confirmed do not have a designated fryer for fries.

Loved this place with a dedicated gf menu. Bison chili is great, a little spicy but really good. Kale salad was also a win. My husband had a bison burger and loved it. Plus dedicated fryer for gf fries. Either the Chef or owner is celiac and very aware so staff is as well. Highly recommended.
Separate GF menu and a staff that truly cares.
I have celiac & I ordered off their GF menu and I had a beef hamburger without a bun (however they do have GF buns) that came with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickles & mustard. I also ordered their side salad with ranch dressing & said no croutons. It was a nice size for a side salad. My meal was absolutely delicious & one of the best burgers & side salads I've ever had! My mom is not GF so off the regular menu she ordered the bison meatloaf, mashed potatoes & gravy and the carrots that had butter & parsley on them and she said her meal was fantastic! The restaurant had a really cool atmosphere & the staff were all wonderful & Jamee our server was great & very helpful! We were very pleased & already talking about going back again next time we are in the area. I felt great afterwards with no issues at all.
**Wanted to add that they said they do have a gluten free fryer for fries. I asked what oil they are cooked in & was told soybean oil.
Our server was patient and attentive to my gluten allergy. Good was great and they had a gluten free menu.
I have been to Ted’s Montana Grill several times in the past, but not to this location. I have always enjoyed the food and felt safe there as a celiac who eats strictly gluten-free. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and fries, which were wonderful. I was also very excited to be able to have a vanilla milkshake. Everything was delicious and I had no reaction. I felt safe eating here with the precautions that they take.
