Gluten Free HEAVEN-

I haven’t had a crab cake since getting diagnosed many, many years ago. It was an absolute joy to finally enjoy one. And delicious even compared to regular crabcakes, to boot! Kids said the burger GF bun is the best they’ve had. Love the historical ambiance, would love to come back once summer patio is open- looks beautiful and inviting! So glad we made a point to eat here during our visit!

I cannot stress this enough- if you want GOOD gluten free food, this is where it's at! I met the owner, who also has celiac, and he was so kind! The food was fantastic, the staff was just as incredible, and the atmosphere is so cozy. It's not "cheap" but you most definitely get what you pay for and I will be back over and over again. Thank you so much for creating a place that I can eat and drink and feel safe knowing that everyone has gone above and beyond to keep me healthy. I cannot wait to go back! My husband and I sat at the bar and had Dylan as our bartender. He was so friendly and informative! He answered all the random questions we celiac have and gave us great insight to the happenings arounds town. I wish I could give more stars!!

I had an amazing experience! Almost every item can be made gluten free. They even had gluten free dessert. The owner came over and introduced himself. And mentioned all items were homemade organic and local. I’m traveling, but will try to make this a frequent stop!

Great selection of GF items…buns, pasta, CRAB CAKES!!!! One of the best burgers in the area!! And they have FRIES as well as a dedicated fryer, the owner is great with gluten allergies and they are great with celiacs and staff is very knowledgeable!

Must stop here! The owner Dave is GF and makes sure that they have safe food. The menu was very clearly marked and the staff was great! Lots of options and the GF chocolate torte was amazing! We had many items and my girls had no symptoms afterwards. Highly recommend!

Got tears in my eyes the first time we came here due to the sheer number of GF choices they had. As others mentioned, they have a GF fryer dedicated so you can have the delicious fries. Can’t say enough positive things about this restaurant

Wonderful experience! The waitress immediately provided clear answers when I mentioned was gluten free and one of the owners is GF themselves so the menu selection is great. They even have a dedicated fryer! Will absolutely be back to try more. Felt safe and exciting to have so many options.

This place and their sister restaurant “Babe’s” in Palmyra, PA both have the same owners who use dedicated gluten free fryers and also make most, if not all of their sauces from scratch to ensure they are also gluten free. They’re very accommodating too regarding gluten free. You just have to let them know up front and they’ll let you know if you can get your entree gluten free. They also do gluten free buns for their handhelds. Many options on the menu are GF as well. I had the salmon. It was perfect. If you’re looking for a clean and GF bite to eat, 1762 is a good choice!

Had absolutely fabulous gluten free crab cakes here. Large. Great dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Waitress was knowledgable. We read and heard good things about this place and they were correct!

The owner (Dave) is GF and has trained his staff to be sensitive to all food allergies. The menu offers a lot of variety and the restaurant atmosphere is casual and fun. Food was great!!
